VISION

To be an organization with social recognition, nationally and internationally, both by our experience and professional work, and our domain to increase diabetes comprehensive capacity in children and young people with this disease by supporting and training their families.Build a network of foundation in all the states of our country and in Latin America. To prevent and control the disease at the right time giving a better quality of life among children most vulnerable in Mexico and Latin America

VISIONTo provide education on diabetes in children and young people with the disease and support parents in their needs and situations of crisis and achieving prevent or delay the complications so that every child as a person achieve happiness in their life.

Mission

To provide children with diabetes and their families in Mexico through comprehensive training of educational camps, parenting, talks and workshops at institutions and villages, through electronic media and print, or through human resources professionals help children.

PHILOSOPHYIn Foundation Hope we believe that all children with diabetes deserve to be happy, to feel accepted, to be healthy emotionally but especially offer hope and have easy access to education in diabetes to achieve better control their glucose levels , have a full and uncomplicated testing them offered a promising future for themselves and their parents.

•STRENGTH: Passion, professionalism, ability, love, service, knowledge, volunteerism.

•WEAKNESSES: We have no facilities-no wages for trained staff, lack of volunteer staff time.

•OPPORTUNITIES: Seek funds to get an office equipped to do projects and make calls.

•THREATS: Economic Crisis, distrust of potential donors.

Long-term Goals1) Getting in the next 10 year have

an office of the foundation, in every state in the country and Latin America with health professionals in each, in groups of trainers in diabetes, offering 32 courses integral to child with diabetes and their families through schools to parents.

2) Have our own facilities to dormitories, sports areas and fully equipped kitchens, up to 200 people, one in Jalisco and one in Mexico City for the 4 camps each year we offer educational

3) Get to be members of the World Health Organization and the American Diabetes Association in the USA

4) Strengthening one's own brand products are sold to achieve sustainable to the foundation in 5 year.

Short-Term Goals:1) To professionalize

institutional members of the foundation, in 2011 through the courses offered by Corporate of Foundations.

2) To make 4 educational camps in 2012 to train 180 child families and young people with diabetes.

3) To have our own office from the school for parents with capacity for 80 people in 2012.

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS IN 2012

1) IMPLEMENTED 4 EDUCATIONAL CAMPS FOR 30 FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WITH DIABETES AND OTHER FOR YOUNGH PEOPLE WITH DM1

2) WE MADE A CAMP FOR 60 YOUNG PEOPLE WITH DIABETES OF BETWEEN 14 AND 21 YEARS OLD. (APRIL)

3) I MANAGED TO FINISH 2 SCHOOL COURSES FOR PARENTS OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH WITH DIABETESWITH 32 DIFFERENT ITEMS (ONE IN THE AREA OF ZAPOPAN AND THE OTHER IN THE AREA OF GUADALAJARA).

4) WE HAVE CLASSES OFFERED TO PEOPLE WITH DIABETES BIMONTHLY. (TEPATITLAN , JALISCO)

5) WE OFFER DIABETES EDUCATION WITH CLASSES OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH WITH DIABETES AND THEIR PARENTS IN HOSPITAL IMSS 46, SSA, ISSSTE,

6) DIABETES CLASSES OFFERED IN OUR WEBSITE, MAKE FURTHER QUESTIONS AND OPINIONS.

7) GIVING 8000 FLAYERS IN HOSPITALS, MALLS, STREETS FOR LEARN MORE ABOUT DIABETES TIPE 1.

8) WE HAVE DONATED MEDICAL KITS (glucometers, test strips, insulins, syringes, lancets) FOR 14 FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WITH DIABETES MONTHLY.

9) WE HAD 17 RADIO PROGRAMS THAT IS TAUGHT ABOUT DIABETES AND ACTIVITIES OF THE FOUNDATION

10) WE HAD OUR SECOND CONGRESS OF 280 DIABETES PATIENTS AND 170 DOCTORS. (3 DAYS) JALISCO

Ser una organización con reconocimiento social, nacional e internacional, tanto por nuestra trayectoria y labor, como por nuestro dominio profesional en la capacitación a niños y jóvenes con diabetes y a sus familias y construir una red de la fundación en todos los estados del territorio nacional y en América latina.

Prevenir y controlar de manera oportuna la diabetes en la población infantil de escasos recursos en México y latino América.

MISIÓN

Ofrecer a los niños con diabetes y a sus familias en México la capacitación integral por medio de campamentos educativos, escuela para padres, platicas y talleres en instituciones y poblados , por medios de comunicación electrónicos e impresos, y a travez de nuestros recursos humanos y profesionales para contribuir a que la niñez con diabetes tenga una mejor calidad de vida.

FILOSOFÍAEn Fundación Esperanza creemos que todos los niños con diabetes merecen ser felices, sentirse aceptados, estar sanos emocionalmente pero sobre todo ofrecerles esperanza y acceso a la educación en diabetes para que logren un mejor control en sus niveles de glucosa, que tengan una vida plena y sin complicaciones, ofreciéndoles un futuro prometedor para ellos y sus padres.

POLITICA En Fundación Esperanza para niños con Diabetes México A.C :SOMOS INCLUYENTESApoyamos con insumos a los niños con diabetes pero no con dinero.Damos capacitación pero no recetamos.El personal asiste al paciente con diabetes pero lo canaliza con el endocrinólogo.Tenemos la obligación de darles un trato digno a los niños y familiares.Todo el personal que imparte clases debe estar capacitado en diabetes. OBJETIVOS A LARGO PLAZO1) Lograr en los próximos 10 años tener una oficina de la fundación en cada estado del país y de América latina con profesionales de la salud en cada una, formando grupos de capacitadores en diabetes, que ofrecen 32 cursos integrales a los niños con diabetes y a sus familias por medio de escuelas para padres.

2) Tener nuestras propias instalaciones con dormitorios, áreas deportivas y cocinas equipadas, para 200 personas , una en Jalisco y otra en el D.F. para los 4 campamentos educativos que ofrecemos cada año.

3) Conseguir ser afiliados de la OMS y la ADA de los EUA

4) Consolidar una marca propia de productos que se vendan para lograr hacer sustentable la fundación en 5 años.

OBJETIVOS A CORTO PLAZO

1) Profesionalizarnos institucionalmente los miembros de la fundación en el 2010 al 2012 por medio de los cursos que ofrece corporativa de fundaciones.

2) Hacer 4 campamentos educativos en 2012 para capacitar a 180 familias de niños y jóvenes con diabetes.

3) Tener unas oficinas propias para la escuela para padres con capacidad para 80 personas en 2012.

SITUACIÓN ACTUAL DE LA ORGANIZACIÓN

Análisis Interno:

Fuerza: Pasión, Profesionalismo, Capacidad, amor, servicio, voluntariado. Debilidades: No tenemos instalaciones propias, no hay salarios para personal que capacita, falta de tiempo del personal voluntario.

Análisis Externo:

Oportunidades: Procurar fondos, conseguir una oficina equipada, hacer proyectos y ganar convocatorias.

Amenazas: Crisis económica, desconfianza de los donantes potenciales.
