With your help, the College of Education and Human Development will offer scholarships to help ease students' financial burdens.

The Shaping the Future Scholarship Brick Program will create scholarships while honoring former students, faculty, staff and friends by engraving their names in stone. The bricks will be installed in Education Plaza near Harrington Tower on the Texas A&M University campus.

Your personal words of tribute will recognize extraordinary people in celebration of graduation, retirement or the difference they made in your life. A personalized brick is the perfect way to recognize tenure, honor mentors or

memorialize a friend or colleague. If you prefer, you can make a lasting statement of your commitment to education by purchasing a brick for yourself.

Engraved bricks can be ordered any time of the year. They will be installed around the Shaping the Future Sculpture twice a year. Order deadlines are October 30 for a Dec/Jan installation or March 30 for a May/June installation. The bricks measure 4 by 8 inches and may include two lines of text with up to 14 characters each. You may also order a duplicate brick for the honoree to keep. A card will be sent to the honoree upon purchase while the duplicate brick will be sent after the installation date.
