What We Do In the Student Engagement Team, we provide a range of activities, events

and CV-boosting opportunities for your students, to enhance their experience

at college, meet your targets and help with your workload.

We provide support with:

Developing your curriculum enrichment offer, including finding the

best industry-related events and providing ideas for trips.

Guidance on all paperwork necessary for your trips, including consent forms, EVF forms, risk assessments, participants’ lists and

trip information sheets.

Sourcing the best deal for your trips and events: We already have a wide variety of well-established links with companies, charities and

businesspeople.

Helping your students to meet their Study Programme

Projects tailored to the needs of your students

High profile competitions like the national Skills Show

and Rock The House

Guest speakers

Volunteering opportunities Awards at Bronze (5 hrs),

Silver (10hrs), Gold (20hrs) levels. Established links with

local charities.

Masterclasses in volunteering, events planning, charity

work, youth engagement.

Duke of Edinburgh Award at Bronze level, including Volunteering, Physical, Skills & Expedition.

We will provide activities for your students to get involved with

volunteering opportunities, charities and businesses during the

Student Involvement Days this year:

17th October 2014 and 11th February 2015

These are planned to coincide with Staff Development Days.

Funding for your Curriculum Enrichment activities is requested

through your Assistant Principal.

Support from us will be specific to your pillar. We are responsive to

your students’ needs, and will tailor our support to your curriculum

requirements.
