Mitchell Long’s musical roots are in Jazz, Blues and popular styles, but he is known most for his work in Brazilian, African and other world-music genres. Long is currently guitarist for American Jazz singer Melody Gardot and the African legend of Angola; Waldemar Bastos.

MacLennan began his professional career at age 16, when he played his first paid recording session at a Grammy award-winning studio. Fifteen years later, MacLennan is one of the busiest working musicians in Los Angeles. MacLennan has traveled and performed at world-famous venues all across the globe.
