Envelope Liner Box

Step 1

Cut one large envelope liners from Crumb Cake card. Score ¾” from each of the sides and also across the

bottom. Because the sides of the liner are not straight, make sure that you use align the bottom edge along

the top edge of your paper trimmer to mark the sides and that you fold over one of the score lines to mark the

lower edge.

Using the indent on the sides of the liner, cut away the top section of the envelope liner. Also cut away the

squares on the bottom of the liner.

Cut a second large envelope liner from Crumb Cake card. Score as in step 1 but also score across the liner

from indent to indent.

Step 4

Cut away the top section of the envelope liner, using the score lines as quides and also cut away the squares

on the lower corners. Use photo as a guide.

Step 5

Emboss the section above the score line using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.

Add Sticky Strip to the three sides of the embossed card.

Remove the red liner from the Sticky Strip and join the two envelope liners together to create an open top

box.

Attach a piece of Designer Series Paper 11.5cm x 7cm to the front of the box.

Stamp three trees from the Festival of the Trees stamp set onto Very Vanilla card using Garden Green ink.

Punch out using the matching Tree Punch.

Stamp the greetings from the Festival of Trees stamp set onto Very Vanilla card and cut them out using the

banner from the Bitty Banners Framelits.

Fold down the embossed flap and attach to the

designer series paper using dimensionals. Attach

two of the trees to the left hand side of the box

front. Use dimensionals under the lower part of

the tree and SNAIL on the top part.

Attach the banner “a merry little wish” behind the

top of the third tree and attach it to the right hand

side of the box front using dimensionals under the

lower part and SNAIL on the top part of the tree.

Attach the banner “for lots of joy at Christmas to

the box front – use photo as a guide.

Colour some medium and small Basic Pearls using

the darkest of the Cherry Cobbler Blendibilities and

attach randomly to the stamped trees.

Here are some of the ways I have used this great little box.

Here I have used the box to add a small gift, the

travel sized soaps, body lotions, etc. make great

fillers for this box.

Here I have filled the box with the cards we also

made in the same class. I tied the cellophane bag

with linen thread, added a tag and some Cherry

Cobbler ½” Seam Binding to finish off the gift.
