Highlights 2015/16 3

For EnviDan 2015/16 has been a year of considerable changes: New owners, with ATP-owned VIA Venture Partners as principal investor, farewell to two of the company’s three founders, a new board of directors, merger of the Danish operating companies, acquisitions in Norway and Sweden, start-up in new areas of business and implementation of a new project and financial management system – just to mention a handful of the many things we have been through during the past year.

In this report I am nonetheless happy to be able to announce the best account we have ever achieved in the history of EnviDan, with a turnover of close to DKK 200 million and an annual result after tax of DKK 12.8 million. This makes me both incredibly proud and deeply humble. Proud because we at EnviDan have weathered the many changes we have faced, and through a highly dedicated effort truly excelled at keeping focus on what we do best, namely supplying quality solutions which create value in close collaboration with our customers. Humble, because I know that the annual return is the product of the efforts of our now close to 200 employees, who have a passion for their work, but who we are only able to keep so long as we can offer them a workplace in which our employees are happy and able to contribute to making an impact. In this annual report you will meet a few of these members of staff, who share their thoughts on their role at the company and on how it is to work at EnviDan.

New owners, new goals, same companyThe present financial year is the first chapter in EnviDan’s new era as a private equity fond-owned enterprise. The company’s vision, mission and goals in

this era are set out in our development plan “EnviDan 2.0”. As its title indicates, this strategic plan represents a new direction which is nonetheless based on the fact that it is the same company, the same employees and the same innovative and agile approach to project solutions which will be the driving force in our work with our customers. Growth is still on the agenda, and in the context of EnviDan 2.0 this will take place on the Scandinavian market. We are already well on the way to achieving our visions and are, with the acquisition of Momentum in Norway and an increased focus on Purenova in Sweden, likewise well on the way to rolling out our strategy for moving into the Scandinavian market. It is thus our vision that we will utilise our strong position on the Danish market to become a significant player across Scandinavia.

Employees - customers - societyEnviDan 2.0 continues to be based upon our founding philosophy that competent and engaged employees are the foundation for achieving happy and satisfied customers, and that in the encounter between employees and customer we are able to deliver value-creating solutions for the benefit of society. In the coming year we look forward to realising our visions of consolidating our foothold in Sweden and Norway, and also of moving forward with successful projects on the Danish market within all of our areas of business. In this report you can read about all three of the elements in our strategic plan – employees, customers and society – seasoned with key figures from the past financial year, together with some interesting case studies which illustrate something about what we do as a company on a day-to-day basis.

Happy reading,Morten Fjerbæk, CEO

HOW SATISFIED ARE YOU WITH YOUR COLLABORATION WITH ENVIDAN?

EnviDan has this year once again delivered solutions to a long list of exciting assignments for our Danish and Swedish customers. In Denmark consolidation continues apace, in a period when more and more utilities companies are working across a range of utility areas. A consequence of this is increased complexity and greater demands with respect to our ability to offer cross-discipli-nary competences, and this means that this year we have placed an even greater focus on assigning the most competent and suited cross-disciplinary teams to work on assignments in order that we are able to deliver systematic solutions to our customers.

Most recently, in the beginning of 2016, we have taken yet another step in the direction of looking after the whole water cycle by establishing a strong team with expertise within Nature & Streams which, together with our many specialists from

within the climate, modelling and water supply sectors, is delivering cross-disciplinary solutions of the highest calibre.

When you ask, you get an answerOn a daily basis we engage in value- creating dialogues with our customers, and it is through this dialogue that we learn what we are doing right, and in what areas there is room for improvement. In the spring of 2016 we carried out a survey in order to get an overall picture of our customers’ opinion of EnviDan anno 2016. We received a good deal of helpful and constructive input, and were pleased to find that the survey overall shows a high degree of satisfaction with EnviDan throughout our customer base.

Our customers are of the opinion that we are innovative, engaged, a good working partner and experts in our field. These are all qualities which we do our best to

live up to in our daily work of delivering solutions to assignments, and for this reason it is also gratifying to discover that our customers can recognise EnviDan in this description. The happy outcome of this survey does not mean that we have any intention of resting on our laurels and letting things slide. We are conscious of the fact that there is room for improvement, and the close dialogue with customers is precisely an area in which we will focus our attention over the coming year. EnviDan has experienced significant growth in recent years, but nonetheless we feel that we are Denmark’s smallest big consultancy company. We know our customers and their needs. It has always been this way, and will continue to be this way, even when there are more of us taking part in the dialogue.

6 Highlights 2015/16

THIS IS WHAT OUR Employees HAVE TO SAY

What is your role at EnviDan?Nils: I am a project manager within the field of clean water. In my day-to-day duties my work spans most of the departments of the company, and I spend a good deal of time on development.

Mette: I will very soon be celebrating my 1-year anniversary as project engineer at EnviDan, in which role I work with hydraulic modelling and climate adaptation.

Kim: My primary role is as project manager within the field of sewer planning. Furthermore I am part of EnviDan’s mentor corps, which exists to ensure that recently-employed employees will quickly find their bearings at thecompany. Finally I am the Aalborg office’s representative in EnviDan’s employee group.

Stefan: As system developer in EnviDan’s portal department I work with all phases of development in a wide variety of software projects. In this capacity I work with everything from development of ideas, innovation, operations, maintenance and support of the software modules which make up the EnviPortal.

In these many roles I work in every aspect of software development, and not least with the interplay between the customer, work colleagues, the

computer, the user interface, the database, “the motor” of the server, and finally the product’s end user.

What are you working on right now?Nils: Right now I am working on optimising energy usage at water utilities companies, which forms part of a project which is working towards intelligent wellfield management.

Mette: I am currently working on several different projects, e.g. an exciting project where traffic islands will contribute to the drainage of rainwater runoff from roads in a residential neighbourhood. Because the implementation of LAR-elements (local drainage of rainwater) is still a relatively new practice within the sector, we face different challenges to those we normally face, and I find this exciting and motivating. I am also working with drainage modelling, whereby we are currently processing data measurements which will be used to calibrate models for a large catchment area which we previously set up in MIKE Urban. It is precisely this multifaceted nature of my work duties which I find contributes to making the job really interesting.

Kim: Aalborg Forsyning A/S is busy with the work of meeting the requirements set out by the water plan, and in relation to this they receive a good deal of assistance from EnviDan. We are currently engaged in providing separate sewage systems in amongst other places Vestbjerg, Sønder Tranders and Nørresundby, for which I am in charge of planning.

Nils, Mette, Kim and Stefan all work at EnviDan.Here they share something of their experiences.

Highlights 2015/16 7

Stefan: I typically work on several projects simultaneously, but right now I am exclusively working on some exciting assignments in connection with a weather radar project. The aim of the project is to transfer data from a weather radar station located in Aalborg to the EnviPortal, where the data it collects will be archived and processed.

The project makes it possible for insurance companies and ordinary citizens to see how much it has rained on specifik address via the internet. It is very reminiscent of the way weather patterns are visualised on television.

What is the best thing about working at EnviDan?Nils: There is good teamwork between work colleagues, which is backed up by EnviDan’s management. Right now I have a broken shoulder, which makes days at the office a little different from usual. EnviDan have tried out all kinds of measures to help make my working day as problem-free as possible.

Mette: One of the best things about working at EnviDan is the flat organizational structure, which has contributed to cultivating an atmosphere in which there is space for open and honest communication and all employees input is taken into consideration, even that of those who are relatively inexperienced within the field. I find that this creates a really good framework for personal development, and at the same time it motivates you to take responsibility for

your work on assignments. But the best thing of all is my good work colleagues, who are not only competent and good working partners, but also make the workplace a fun place to be.

Kim: The best thing about working for EnviDan is that the company is at the cutting edge of my professional field, which brings with it a number of privileges.• We are our customers’ preferred collaborator, and in this capacity we are granted the opportunity of participating in a wide range of different projects, making us the envy of other consultancy firms.• We are an engaged player in the sewage sector and participate in a wide range of development projects. I have personally, through my collaboration with Danva, worked with their training programme and had extensive opportunities to cultivate a broad network and many close business relations across Denmark.• The company’s good reputation and deep commitment to educational institutions also means that EnviDan is able to recruit the most competent engineers from universities and engineering colleges. In Aalborg in recent years we employed a great number of skilled young engineers, which has been deeply gratifying.

Stefan: EnviDan is a good environment in which to work, both in professional terms and on a social level. I take great satisfaction in my work duties, because the scope of the work and the workload itself are very reasonable. On a professional level I find it motivating to be

challenged by exciting and highly varied assignments. Successfully developing software which generates value is a very satisfying feeling, and equally so, being able to follow a project through all of its phases of development, from idea to finished product. I feel that it is important for everyone to be able to have an influence on their own work, and feel that they are being listened to. At regular meetings and in day-to-day communication between management and employees everyone’s ideas are listened to. There are of course times when things get very busy. The managers are good at reminding us to take breaks – they know how important it is to be passionately engaged with our assignments without this ending with us burning out.

The company’s location in the middle of Silkeborg with forest on all sides is an added bonus. So you can always go for a bike ride or a run after work. The company furthermore arranges plenty of employee events, with something for everyone, be it parties, cultural evenings

or sports events. Most recently the staff association held an Adventure Race in connection with the annual summer party, with running, cycling, kayaking and plenty of other fun activities in the forests and lakes of Silkeborg.

How would you describe the philosophy of EnviDan?Nils: The philosophy of EnviDan, to my mind, is that we are one big family. You are part of something larger than yourself, without ever disappearing into the crowd. And on top of that there are great opportunities for really throwing yourself into development projects at EnviDan.

Mette: There is without doubt a very positive philosophy at EnviDan. It’s a pleasant place to be, with a good team spirit and good morale. There is always time for questions, and I can always turn to my work colleagues if I need help with something.

Kim: When we do things at EnviDan, we do them right – both on a professional and a social level.

Stefan: The thing I like best about the philosophy at EnviDan is the pioneer spirit. At EnviDan we work a lot in the sphere of innovation, and in a manner that has real tangible results!

Innovation motivates the employees to think constructively and this has led to the development of several new products. On the company’s intranet employees can access “The Thought”, where all members of staff can jot down their ideas for new products, and their colleagues can then add their own ideas or brainstorm the idea.

The philosophy at EnviDan is friendly and kind, so that you very soon feel welcome as a new member of staff.

At EnviDan the distance between word and action is often short. “Just-Do-It” and “Keep It Simple” are philosophies practiced often, and I have frequently thought, and said out loud: “Blimey, that was quick!”

Highlights 2015/16 9

In a busy sector we do what we can to maintain a balance between work and leisure time, and at EnviDan we have had the satisfaction of being able to help an engineer with a stress-related illness back onto the job market. Marianne came to us after a period of a year and a half on sick leave resulting from stress, and she has battled her way back to normal everyday working life one step at a time. This is the success story of Marianne. A story of how Marianne lacked several hours out of her day, of how this forced her away from the job market – and of how she found her way back through the forest.

Laid low by stressMarianne suffered from stress for a year and a half following a period of intense work-related pressure and being handed more assignments than she was able to deliver in the provided timeframe. Today she has made a remarkable recovery following her period of illness, and has been employed full-time and permanently at EnviDan since May 2016. Marianne’s everyday life came tumbling down around her in the autumn of 2013 which resulted in a long-lasting period of illness from which the battle to return to the job market has been long and hard. Marianne has nonetheless always had a heartfelt wish to return to ‘normal’ life, and in the spring of 2015 she contacted EnviDan and spoke openly to them about her situation. Marianne had made a firm decision to commence a period of

internship, and started as an intern for three hours twice a week.

Marianne very soon became a member of the sewer team in Silkeborg, and in close consultation with team manager Jan Grønning, Marianne quietly found her way back to everyday life.

Teamleder Jan Grønning: I am so impressed with Marianne’s fighting spirit and will to return to work, and it really means a lot to us to be able to help a skilled engineer back onto her feet again.

We all have a dutyAny tree can tip over if the wind blows hard enough, and as a business we have a duty to water that tree so that it can be righted again. As a sector we require skilled manpower, and at EnviDan we have now got a skilled member of staff who delivers on her assignments in a manner fully on a par with her colleagues, and is at the same time happy. This is one of our greatest successes of the past year.

Marianne Halkjær Knudsen: It isn’t exactly easy to stand up and tell people how low you have been. But I do it because I want to show other people laid low by stress that there is a way back, and because I want to show other companies like EnviDan that it is worth investing in people who have suffered a period of illness.

a SUCCESS STORY FROM within OUR OWN RANKS

Marianne Halkjær Knudsen is 35 years old, a civil engineer in the field of environmental engineering and lives in Thorsø with her son Benjamin.

In her leisure time Marianne plays league handball in Hammel.

“Even though Marianne didn’t suffer from stress as a result of working at EnviDan, we are happy that we were able to help her back into the job market.”

10 Highlights 2015/16

SOCIETY

Our solutions contribute to improving the aquatic environment and saving energy. This lies at the heart of the company’s ethos, but we also create workplaces and growth which benefit society, and we do not see any conflict of interest in doing so. On the contrary we believe that the Danish water and energy sectors at one and the same time can become more effective, achieve climate targets and be a catalyst for the development of technologies and solutions which can be sold outside Denmark. For instance we see great similarities in the approach to the handling of water and sewage on the Scandinavian market, and look forward to increasing the synergies and the sharing of knowledge between our Danish, Norwegian and Swedish offices in the coming years.

Circular economy The circular economy is well and truly on the agenda and heralded as the key to growth, and there is a lot of talk in political circles concerning green transition

and green ambitions. This makes us happy to hear, because we have for a number of years recycled the resources in our solutions by amongst other things producing biogas and running slurry onto farmland. Thus it is natural for us to think in terms of recycling, and we view utilization of resources in the utilities companies as the pivotal point for a range of new synergies across utilities companies subsectors. The project of expanding Egå sewage treatment plant, for which EnviDan is the turnkey contractor, is a good example of how we utilise a circular economy in our solutions. Here we have revised the production symbiosis and constructed a new sewage treatment plant, which in net terms produces more energy than it uses. It is expected that the wastewater treatment plant at Egå will produce 150% of electricity and over 200% of water and heating requirements, and Aarhus Water can thus supply green energy to heating and electricity consumers in the form of district heating and electricity.

Case study

The pressure on the Danish water, sewage and energy sectors has never been greater, and we are convinced that greater energy efficiency, increased climate control and better utilization of resources is the way to achieve a better environment and an effective utilities companies sector which will provide society with a good level of service on multiple levels.

An ongoing part of UN Global Compact In 2015 EnviDan delivered its first COP-report to UN Global Compact. The organisation is a UN initiative which has set out ten general principles for enterprises’ work with societal responsibility. When one joins UN Global Compact one commits as an enterprise to making the ten principles an element of their business activities, and to submiting reports on an ongoing basis to UN Global Compact, just as EnviDan did for the first time in the autumn of 2015.The expansion of Egå Sewage Treatment Plant

EnviDan is participating in an exciting development project which strive to contribute to investigating and reducing plastic pollution in Denmark. The project has received a joint funding allocation of DKK 8.9 million from VELUX FONDEN and VILLUM FONDEN and will be wound down in the period 2016-2018. The idea behind ‘An ocean of possibilities’ is that through unconventional partnerships, new and green business models, the development of green technologies, behaviour modification and communication activities, results and solutions are brought about which will change the unsustainable situation whereby plastic waste at present ends up in the world’s seas and oceans.

The project ‘An ocean of possibilities’ is fronted by the partnership “Plastic-Free Sea” consisting of Plastic Change, the Danish Ecological Council and the Danish Plastics Federation. EnviDan is a partner in one of the four sub-projects which fall under the banner of ‘An ocean of possibilities’. As part of the project we work in collaboration with amongst others Grundfos, Aarhus University, Roskilde University, Gyldendal and Alfa Laval. The project is called ‘A Plastic-Free Roskilde Fjord’ and the aim of the project is to identify the major sources of plastic pollution of the fjord and to draw up strategies and measures intended to ensure that the fjord will in future not be further polluted with plastic.

Value-creating IT-solutions

EnviDan’s IT-solutions are directed towards the increasing demand among Danish customers and utilities companies to improve both daily operations and the overall overview of the sector. Our portal products have existed since 2008, and have developed rapidly since then. This means that today we have one of Denmark’s broadest palettes of IT-solutions, which are tailor-made for the environmental sector. With a constant focus on aspects which will bring about the creation of value for the individual customer, we have managed to create a range of solutions which not only handle data but simultaneously understand the importance of extracting the value from the data set and translating it into more flexible and effective working procedures.

All of our solutions are based on our unique professional knowledge within the water and sewage sectors, a specialist knowledge which not only makes us an integrated environmental consultant but also a competent software developer providing solutions to municipalities and utilities companies.

We increase value in collaboration with our customersWe earn our living by being in touch with our customers’ needs, and we believe, in all modesty, that this is one of the things we really excel at. We are nonetheless not blind to the fact that our customers’ needs are constantly changing and developing, and for this reason one of our most value-creating tools is the continual dialogue we engage in with our customers – a dialogue which is supplemented by the annual Portal Day

when we invite all of our portal customers to a day of knowledge exchange and joint discussion of merits, strengths and potential for improvement. We see this as an excellent tool for improving our portal even further in the future, and with over 120 participants from utilities companies and municipalities attending Portal Day 2016, we are happy to acknowledge that our customers feel the same.

Case study There are a lot of things to keep track of with framework agreements and many large and small projects. Together with TREFOR Water A/S and Munck Supply Lines, EnviDan has developed EnviProject, which manages your portfolio and ensures that there is at all times a 100% overview of contracts and finances as well as bringing the project to completion within the agreed timeframe. And what is more, EnviProject can be used on any and all projects, and across all types of utilities companies.

The private company TREFOR Water A/S carries out approx. 150 annual renovation projects, and this entails a long list of administrative tasks which are time-consuming and entail the processing of large quantities of data and information. At the same time, this large

TREFOR Water A/S has got a better handle on the projects and everything that goes into them.

quantity of data constitutes a potential risk that errors will arise when the data is to be processed manually.

For this reason we have developed a portal-based tool which guarantees the customer a project settlement on all TREFOR Water A/S projects. All data, including contracts, agreements, timetables, financial overviews etc. are accessible in EnviProject, and can be accessed by all interested parties in the project via use of username and password. For instance, all framework agreements with contractors can be entered in EnviProject and subsequently utilised across all of projects.

When the project is entered into EnviProject and the tender documents have been uploaded, the contractor will

be able to give an estimate for the project, after which the contract basis is approved by both parties. From here on the flow, including any supplementary agreements, interim statements and the closing final settlement are managed via EnviProject, so that one has at all times an overview of where in the approval workflow a project finds itself at any given time. All such documents are version controlled so that users will always be shown the latest applicable version of each document.

EnviDan also utilises EnviProject internally on its site development projects, and thereby offers all of our customers an effective project settlement tool in tandem with our solution services.

“EnviProject provides a more flexible project settlement with far fewer errors” Ole Øbro, TREFOR Water A/S

Case studyThe Technical University of Denmark’s Campus Service (DTU CAS) has requested the provision of a mechanical and chemical wastewater treatment plant, which with the aid of coagulation, flocculation and filter techniques will be able to handle the mercury discharge from the university’s laboratories.

Expansion of the existing sewage treatment plant will amongst other things provide DTU with an operationally optimised wastewater treatment plant and a more functional and simplified plant at which operations will be optimised and can be adapted to suit the current load.

EnviDan will deliver a solution which takes account of the chemical composition of the sewage produced by DTU, and furthermore is installing a long-term dehydration solution in the form of dehydration using GeoTube-bags, which in a simple and easy manner store and dehydrate the slurry in one unified process.

We are carrying out the project as an all-inclusive contract which will deliver design, project engineering and implementation of the plant.

Treatment of chemical sewage at DTU

Case studyEnviDan is working together with Frederikshavn Forsyning A/S on an extensive separate sewerage project in Skagen which will be carried out between 2016-2018. The existing sewage system is run-down and in some areas is unable to drain the growing levels of precipitati-on. The project will climate-proof future rainwater drainage by means of amongst other measures a new sea outlet in Skagen Harbour and securing of low-lying areas by means of stormwater pumping stations. Simultaneously the sewage system will likewise be future-proofed such that it can handle sewage from Skagen’s extensive fishing industry in an optimal manner and as a separate operation from the remaining sewage drainage facilities.

The project is to be implemented in Skagen’s profiled norwestern region around Vippefyret and Hvidefyr, and in the harbour area - an area which is receiving a lot of attention from interested parties such as for example the environmental authorities with respect to Skagen’s protected areas, tourism, the fishing industry, local citizens etc.

EnviDan has via a close partnership with the utilities companies Services undertaken planning and project engineering of the project, which is to be constructed in such a way that it fits in with the restrictive outer boundaries of Skagen’s protected areas. Likewise, the project is being carried out in collaboration with, and in a manner which accommodates the interests of, the many local interested parties.

Handbook for handling of Sorted-at-Source Organic Waste Collection

Case study At Danishwastewater treatment plants there is a need for guidelines which explain the use of Sorted-at-Source Organic Waste Collection (KOD) and make it easier to handle KOD day-to-day. The project is well underway, and the result is a KOD-handbook which is intended as a tool which will break down the knowledge barriers we encounter in this field. The handbook illustrates concrete solutions for the handling of KOD in anaerobic digestion tanks at wastewater treatment plants and encompasses central aspects of the implementation process.

EnviDan’s rol in the project is to supply specific proposals which will ensure a successful transplanting of technology from the biogas sector to the wastewater treatment plants which utilise digestion tanks.

The handbook will serve as a work tool for utilities companies providers and municipalities in their selection of strategies for handling and recyling of KOD, and is also intended to facilitate the implementation of the Resource Strategy at Danish sewage treatment plants. out IN SCANDINAVIA

In the autumn of 2015 the investment fund Via Venture Partners took over ownership of EnviDan by buying out, in partnership with leading associates, EnviDan’s founders Søren Brønd, Simon Boel and Jan Tryk. This simultaneously served as the stimulus for an increased focus on the Scandinavian market.

Jakob Rybak-Andersen, Via Venture Partners and chairman of the board of directors at EnviDan: “We are quite convinced that EnviDan is a good investment. EnviDan has healthy finances, a broad and very exciting clientele and a fantastically strong professional foundation which we believe can raise EnviDan to the next level. EnviDan has amongst other things succeeded in developing a long list of IT-solutions for utilities companies including both standalone solutions and support tools supplementing traditional consultancy work. With our extensive experience with software enterprises we hope that we will be able to help EnviDan realise the great potential which we see in the sector”.

At EnviDan we have therefore prepared an ambitious business strategy, EnviDan 2.0, which between now and 2020 will strengthen our position on the Danish market and raise EnviDan’s profile in Scandinavia.

Growth in SwedenAs part of our strategic objectives for

the Scandinavian market we have placed a major focus on our Swedish subsidiary EnviDan Purenova, which had a very successful year in 2015/2016. EnviDan Purenova has strengthened its position on the Swedish market with a succession of assignments with the fields of consultancy, management and process management and has simultaneously entered into a number of framework agreements with Swedish municipalities, with the result that there is now a stable pipeline for EnviDan Purenova in Sweden. At the same time we have become a more complete supplier to the Swedish market by virtue of the fact that we now to a greater extent than previously offer services within all of EnviDan’s specialist fields. There has not least been great demand for our portal solutions on the Swedish market.

EnviDan captures NorwayAt the close of this financial year EnviDan entered a new market when we acquired the Norwegian company Momentum Selvkost AS, which today boasts 250 Norwegian municipalities and 30 utilities companies among its clientele. Momentum Selvkost AS has now become EnviDan Momentum AS, but continues to provide the Norwegian municipalities and utilities companies with assistance with calculation of charges with a principal focus on calculation of tariffs based upon the self-cost principle. The integration of Momentum into EnviDan means that, moving forward, we will be able to offer the Norwegian market the same technical solutions within our specialist fields which EnviDan already supplies to other markets, and we look forward to supplying services of the highest quality to our Norwegian customers.

“Growth is still on the agenda, and in EnviDan 2.0growth will take place on the Scandinavian market.” Morten Fjerbæk, CEO

Case studyTomelilla Municipality wishes to expand the municipality’s wastewater treatment plant, which at present handles sewage from the town centre as well as the surrounding area.

EnviDan Purenova is implementing this project in consortium with local building and engineering contractors. The plant’s capacity is to be expanded from 12,000 to 16,500 PE, and the main focus of the project is on utilizing the existing capacity while economising energy usage and optimising the purification processes. EnviDan Purenova has worked closely with the local engineering contractor in designing an energy-efficient plant. This, combined with a maximised use of the existing capacities, will result in a compact and cost-effective plant with minimal expenditure on operation and maintenance.

In future the purification processes utilised at the plant will consist of mechanical purification using grating, grit chambers and preliminary sedimentation, biological purification with predentrification, anaerobic digestion tanks and biological phosphorus removal in reservoirs using side stream hydrolysis. Chemical purification will primarily be carried out by means of post-precipitation via chemical precipitants.

The project commenced in 2015 and construction is expected to be completed

by the end of 2016. Besides the process design, EnviDan Purenova has prepared a redistribution plan which will guarantee that sewage purification will take place at the wastewater treatment plant for the full duration of the construction project. Together with the new plant, EnviDan Purenova will supply an advanced online control system, EnviStyr, which will serve to optimise the updated purification process.

On the green areas in between the existing processing tanks a new processing tank will be constructed with a capacity of 1000 m3. The clarifiers will be converted for use in handling of predentrification and side stream hydrolysis.
