Sustainable livingSustainable living means to create environmental living that will last into the future and will not harm the world, uses only infinite materials and makes very thing have a low impact on the environment. At KJC INC. we believe that sustainable living is the future. So everything from solar panels and wind turbines to natural gas.

Water usageAt the Wentworth Point you will see how we use water and how we recycle it. We have rain water tanks that are connect to the gutters on the roofs of all the buildings in the Wentworth Point radius. To heat all hot water we have solar panels and wind turbines that heat the water to a point that will fulfil our wish for sustainable design.

Electricity usage At the Wentworth Point you will see how we conserve our energy and have efficient ways of getting electricity to our residents quickly and in an environmentally friendly way, such as Solar panels and wind turbines. We also regulate the amount of energy and have a fee if the residents use to much and give rewards if the residents use less than average.

Waste reductionAt the Wentworth Point you will see how we reduce and recycle our waste. We also run programs in schools and have community events such as: clean up Australia day and composting programs such as ready set grow which encourages schools to grow vegetable patches in schools. We also have drop off site were resident can drop off old: computers, televisions, cans and bottles. We also encourage people to put out there of things that can be recycled for the council clean up.
