    Orthometric Height CalculationOrthometric Height Calculation

y Orthometric height is calculated from Ellipsoidal and Geoidal height

y Ellipsoidal heights of 32 locations are collected from the files given by MinistryofMunicipal and Rural Affairs (MOMRA)

y Geoidal Heights are calculated as follows :

y Software used : EGM2008 Harmonic Synthesis Program - Hsynth-WGS84.exe(Fortran-command based) Available in :http://earth-info.nga.mil/GandG/wgs84/gravitymod/egm2008/egm08_wgs84. html

    y Requirements :

Input file containing Latitude and Longitudes in .txt format (with one tab space)

Hsynth-WGS84.exe and Input text file must be stored inside the same folder

Output file contains X,Y and Geoidal height , will be then stored to the same folder.
