Hypothesis: they both had an enzyme that breaks down hydrogen peroxide

Rock (control)

Potato

The potato did have an enzyme that breaks down hydrogen peroxide

Apple

The apple did have an enzyme that breaks down hydrogen peroxide

Our conclusion was that both plants and animals have an enzyme that breaks down hydrogen peroxide, however we think that

animals have more of the enzyme
