About UsAbout Us Since Sungsan was established in 2001, Sungsan has been developing various Amplifier and produce HPA

for exporting every year.

Since demand of wireless communications infrastructure is expended, needs of Linear HPA has exploded.

To meet those of needs, Sungsan has started as 1st generation communication HPA manufacturer and we

have been working with Empower who is proven HPA manufacturer as a best partner.

We have accumulated experience of various broadband Amplifiers and High power Amplifier. Therefore,

we have several hundred HPA line-up which is able to meet our customers needs.

We have developed not only solid state power Amplifier but also built environment for shelf type system

Amplifier as well as we have focus on RF component such as filter and combiner and so on.

[ Linear HPA Group for communication] Sungsan has been providing linear amplifier start from traditional Back-off type Linear HPA up to Digital pre-distortion HPA. Since 2010, Sungsan has utilized Analog Pre-distortion way of HPA using compensation technic for the first time in Korea as being not only providing domestic market but also providing outstanding repeater company in Europe. Our solution for HPA has line-up up to 3.8GHz. We have various solutions and technic for providing extraordinary linearity for communication.

[ Special purpose HPA Group ] Amplifier can be used for various signal amplifying. Sugnsan’s special purpose HPA has various HPA line-up such as Pulse HPA for Identification Radar and energy HPA for molecular accelerating. Especially, case of Heavy-ion accelerator, we have been participated in the Project “RAON” which is Korea accelerator project as a No 1 partner and providing various applications.

[ Broadband HPA Group ] The broadband HPA is Sungsan's representative item and it can amplify signals with frequency bands higher than octave band. It can be an ideal solution for broadband mobile jamming, band-specific high power and specific frequency ranges. Thanks to the use of excellent power density GaN device, it covers broadband frequency ranges and has high efficiency at the same time. Additionally, we have bespoke HPA of LDMOS base line-up to achieve competitive price.

[ RF Passive component Group ] Since 2015, we have started developing RF components such as high power and broad band combiner for improving HPA output. Starting with it, we have been developing Duplexer and Triplexer for communication system autonomously. Particularly, we are able to develop bespoke filter, for instance, Band Pass Filter and Band Reject Filter up to 18GHz with various band. Structural analysis through 3D tool is able to provide accurate information on customer’s specifications and performance as well as actual power test environment is built up through Sung-san’s own broadband HPA. Sungsan who are able to provide Active and Passive solution together is unrivaled reliability with extraordinary quality for other passive companies.
