What is EOS Mobile?

• EOS mobile is a web-based system that provides the information needed about an organ offer quickly, safely and efficiently

• 24/7 access to summarised information on a browser, smart phone or tablet

• Developed in direct response to EOS user feedback and part of NHSBT's on-going commitment to improve the organ offering process

Benefits of using EOS Mobile

• Reduces the risk of transcription errors• Reduces the time spent reviewing offers• Reduces the need to call the NHSBT Duty Office

to receive an organ offer (the accept / decline decision must be via telephone as it is currently)

• Ensures compliance with EUODD standards • Reduces the total time from offer to acceptance

Logging in to EOS Mobile

• Navigate to the web address:– www.eosmobile.nhsbt.nhs.uk

• Existing EOS users can use their current username and password to log-in

• New users should contact the NHSBT Service Desk to set-up an account– Email: service.desk@nhsbt.nhs.uk– Telephone: 0113 2148777

Every member of hospital staff responsible for reviewing organ offers can be given access once trained

Donor Search Functionality

• Users are presented with a simple donor search screen

• The donor number will be provided by the Duty Office or SN-OD

• Care should be taken to ensure that the correct donor number is input, particularly on mobile devices
