MATERIALS

All epoxy floor systems use a 3-layer application process for performance and longevity. Finished surfaces are slip-resistant with a high-gloss shine.

Base/Top layer: Double the thickness of leading competitors, our base and top coatings protect the floor system from cracks, chips and other damage. Our base and top coat material includes a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Flake/Color layer*: Colored polymer 1/4" flake flooring, available in 11 colors. For a different look, Desert, Graphite, Scottsdale, Sedona and Smoke flake are also available in a smaller 1/8" texture.* Colors may vary slightly from the images shown.

MAINTENANCEEveryday dirt and grim clean up with simple detergents; oils and spills wipe up easily. Harsh salts do not harm floor coatings.

Likely to stain and trap dirt creating more frequent floor maintenance. Motor oils and spills will stain floor coating.

LIFE SPAN 100% UV protection/no oxidation. Surface will remain clear and free of ambering or yellowing.

0% UV protection, will fade and discolor due to UV exposure from indoor lighting and sunlight.

FINISHCures harder than standard epoxy, with higher impact and abrasion resistance. Designed to repel staining from oils, spills and harsh salts.

Softer material than hybrid polymer when cured. Prone to "paw printing" caused by hot tires. Very little stain resistance.

THICKNESS

On average, twice as thick as other products allowing flakes to adhere fully, leaving very little colored base coat showing through. Creates a more uniform appearance and lasts much longer.

Very thin base coat, leaving up to 20% or more of base coat showing through flakes. Finished floors lack uniformity in the flake pattern and are prone to yellowing over time.

CURE TIME Cures within 24 hours allowing for foot traffic; vehicle weight in 72 hours.

Longer cure time between coatings. Seven days before any heavy foot traffic or vehicle weight is permitted.

FLOOR PREPARATION

Floors are mechanically profiled ensuring a superior bond between concrete and floor coating.

Out-dated method may cause top layer of concrete to become soft and brittle, leading to floor failure.

High-solvent based epoxy. Fifty-plus year old technology, prone to ambering against UV rays.
