Microsoft Word

- Microsoft Word is a processor developed by Microsoft. Our group uses this software to write up our documents before uploading them to our blog. This is the main processor we used, as most of our work is a document. We also used Microsoft Word, as it was available on all of the devices that we used. Additionally it is easy to use.

- Examples: Script, Narrative Structure and Genre Research.

Scribd

- Scribd is an online website which allows you to upload documents which can be embedded onto a website, so documents are easy to read and scroll through. We used this website to embed most of our work that was typed onto Microsoft Word.

Microsoft PowerPoint

- Microsoft PowerPoint was used to show slideshows in a simple way. It was easier to use and it was not distracting as using something like Prezi. It’s a good way of giving off information.

Final Cut Pro

- I used Final Cut Pro to edit our production. It was a fairly new programme to me, though I have had some experience using it from editing the Preliminary Task, which I edited.

- It was tricky to use at first, but once I got the hang of it, it became easier. I believed it produced a better outcome than other editing programmes I had used in the past such as iMovie.

Prezi - Prezi was another alternative to PowerPoint and Powtoon - It allowed for smoother transitions and there was more freedom with how you presented each slide, for example,

you could create routes and change box shapes and add images etc.- Although it was slightly complicated at first it was easy to pick up and was used for many pieces of my coursework,

like the meeting notes and the pitch.

Blogger

- Blogger was used a lot by me, because it is easy to show off your work on your page and allows for creative freedom when it comes to creating the style and look.

- It was also faster and made more sense for a first time user than other websites, such as Tumbler for instance.

Twitter

- We used Twitter as a way to communicate between us and people who visited our page.- We also used it to promote our production and Production Company as it is a popular social networking site that’s

used frequently by our target audience.

Facebook

- We used Facebook to send photos of our project to each other easily. For example if a picture was taken on my phone, I could communicate it to my group members without difficulty.

- It is a good way of promoting our production as it is a social networking site used often.
