eRA@TU UGM: Preparing for January
“…This was my first grant sent from Temple and I found the process far easier and more flexible than in my previous Institution; I attribute this efficiency to the good will of the people who assisted me but also to the user-friendly software for the online management of the application. I look forward to learn more about all the possibilities of the software you have established, but just the fact that at 3.00 AM I could up-load my science was beautiful……”

Forms and a paper SPAF.
eRA@TU UGM: Advisory• Uploading Spreadsheets.• Be sure to save your spreadsheets in either .xls or .xlsx format
before uploading to eRA@TU.• Spreadsheets with macros will cause issues viewing during
the routing process.
eRA@TU UGM: Open Forum• Discussion Agenda

eRA@TU UGM: Forum NSF & PD• National Science Foundation
– One of our larger potential sponsors (51 submissions last FY)– Will be able to submit system-to-system when we move to version 12.803.01,
early 2012.– NSF has finally admitted they do NOT want to limit submissions to FastLane– But until that time, 2 options
• Treat NSF using the NonS2S Formset– Other institutions are using this method– Manually set up a proposal to select NSF then require a minimum amount of information
to complete the eSPAF, attach documents and submit for internal approval
• Keep NSF on list of exemptions to electronic eSPAF and rely on data entry from hardcopy spaf and using “sneaker net” for routing
– Decision will be made internal to Sponsored Programs but input is welcome.
– Demo
eRA@TU UGM: Forum eMail Notifications• eMail Notifications
