Erik & Sabrina
One visit was enough to know that it was the right venue. Our experience was outstanding. We can’t praise the team enough. From the first minute, they
made sure we got everything we needed and more. There is not a more magic and beautiful venue to have a wedding.
There is not a more magic and beautiful
venue. You have the beautiful buildings,
the astonishing nature amongst the
grounds – not to forget the outstanding
staff of Ellenborough Park. It’s the little
touches, such as the Waiter who came
in and kept my Champagne topped up.
He took the time to talk about football
with me to calm my nerves! They made
our experience even greater.
Erik & Sabrina’s Love StoryErik & Sabrina met through a mutual friend at a pub in Oslo. While there was no
official engagement, Erik liaised with the hotel and planned their wedding in secret.
Six months later he presented a wedding contract asking Sabrina to pick a date!
Their Wedding day menu consisted of Scottish salmon followed by
filet of beef, a sorbet course to cleanse the palate and a tuile basket of
summer fruit to finish. “We chose what we considered to be classical
wedding menu courses. We wanted a menu that all of our guests would
appreciate.”
With a wedding theme of classic and timeless, the couple wanted
their day to be ageless. “We can look back in fifty years from now, still
thinking it was absolutely stunning. Our decorations and flowers went
with the classical theme; tall silver candelabras, small silver lanterns and
lots of flowers. We went for white hydrangeas, white peonies, baby’s
breath, eucalyptus and other soft greens. Simple, yet so elegant.”
And their choice of first dance was as classic as their theme. “We went
for the one and only Frank Sinatra and his version of The Way You Look
Tonight. You won’t find anything more classic and timeless than that for
your first dance as Mr and Mrs!”
“Getting married at Ellenborough Park is the next best decision you’re going to make, after deciding who to marry! Keep calm & trust the staff!”
