TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

The Pure-Screen 100 Series wedge-wire filter range has a rugged construction with collapse pressures 2-6 x the maximum operating pressure of the filter. This makes it ideal for critical applications where lter failure or collapse is not an option i.e. final product filtration. This versatile range of filters is ideally suited for applications where product smoothness and consistency are essential.

BeverageFruit juices, soft drinks, tea, concentrates

BrewingBeer, cider, wine (pre-fermentation)

ChemicalPaints, varnishes, detergents, solvents, oil based coatings

CIPSolution debris capture

ConfectionerySweet production, chocolate mass, sugars, cocoa butter

CosmeticsSoaps, creams, shampoos, emulsions, essences

DairyYoghurts, butter, soft cheese, milk processing, powder mixing (homogenising powders into suspensions)

FoodFats, sugars, avourings, syrups, cooking oils, egg mass, molasses

IndustrialOils, greases, reclaimed oils, degreasing solutions

PharmaceuticalFermentation broths, antibiotics, creams, gels, toothpaste

To complement our range of wedge-wire and perforated sheet filter screens, we have introduced a sintered mesh option which is ideally suited for fine particulate applications requiring filtration levels below 75 micron such as those associated with water, pharmaceutical, food, beverage and chemical industries. • Manufactured in 316L stainless steel

• Compatible with both Pure-Screen and Econ-Screen filter ranges

• Suitable for CIP (cIean-in-place), SIP (steam-in-place)

• Offers excellent strength and rigidity
