Do we know that Jesus actually

existed as a person?

Yes. Not only do we find an accurate

portrait of Him in the documents of

the New Testament, but dozens ofancient non-Biblical manuscripts

confirm that Jesus was a genuine

historical figure who lived in Palestine

in the early part of the first century.

What makes Jesus different from the

other great religious teachers,

prophets or philosophers?

If any adjective were to describe

Jesus, it would be unique. His message

was unique. The claims He made

regarding Himself were unique. His

miracles were unique. And the

influence He has had on the World is

unsurpassed by any other.

¿Qué diferencia hay entre Jesús y los

demás grandes maestros, profetas o

 filósofos religiosos?  

Si quisiéramos calificar a Jesús dealguna manera, habría que decir quees "único": Su mensaje fue único; loque Él afirmó de Sí mismo no tieneigual; sin par fueron los milagros querealizó; y la influencia que impuso en

el mundo no hay sido igualada porninguna otra.

-not Moses, not Buddha, not Confucius, notMohammed--ever claimed to be God. - That is,

with the exception of Jesus Christ. In fact, He not

only claimed to be the Son of God, God manifest

in human flesh, but He convinced a great portion

of the World that He in fact is God's Son.

Another very outstanding and undeniably unique aspect

of Jesus' life is that literally hundreds of detailed

predictions and prophecies were made by ancient

prophets and seers, many centuries before He was born.--

Specific details regarding His birth, life and death, that no

mere mortal man could possibly have fulfilled!

The discovery of hundreds of ancient Old Testament

manuscripts by archaeologists during this century has

proven without a doubt that these prophecies were

indeed written centuries before Jesus was born.

But why would God send His Son

into the world?

God is our great, kind and loving

Heavenly Father, and He loves eachof us very much. And He wants us

all to experience and know the

wonderful Love, joy and satisfaction

that comes from personally knowing

and being close friends with Him.

haber tenido Dios para enviar a Su

Hijo al mundo?

Dios es nuestro gran Padre celestial,

misericordioso y bueno, y tiene ungran amor por cada uno de nosotros.Quiere que todos experimentemos yconozcamos el maravilloso amor, ladicha y la satisfacción que provienende conocerle personalmente y detener una íntima relación de amistad

con Él.

But sad to say, all of us have done wrong

at one time or another, and have been

selfish, unloving or unkind to others.--Oreven to Him, our Heavenly Father! He

tells us in His Word, "All have fallen short

of the perfection of God.--Romans 3:23.

Pero lamentablemente todos, en uno uotro momento, hemos actuado mal,hemos sido egoístas, desconsiderados oduros con los demás. ¡O incluso con elmismo Dios, nuestro Padre celestial! Dice

en Su Palabra: "Todos se han descarriadoy no han merecido la perfección de Dios"(Romanos 3:23).

God knows that no matter how hard we try

to be good, none of us can ever be good

enough to come into His perfect presence

through our own self-goodness. But Jesus

is perfect. And because He was willing to

come to Earth and die on the cross for us,to take the punishment that we deserve for

our wrong-doings, we can be forgiven for all

our failings and be reunited with our great

and loving Heavenly Father if we will simply

accept Jesus' pardon and Gift of Eternal Life!

Dios sabe que por más que nos esforcemos, jamás podremos alcanzar una bondad talque nos permita entrar en Su perfecta presencia debido a nuestras buenasacciones. Pero Jesús sí es perfecto. Y debidoa que Él estuvo dispuesto a venir a la tierray a morir en la cruz por causa nuestra,tomando sobre sí el castigo que nosotrosmerecíamos por nuestras malas obras, podemos ahora recibir el perdón de todosnuestros errores y reunirnos con nuestrograndioso y amoroso Padre celestial. ¡Si es

que sencillamente aceptamos el perdón y eldon de la Vida Eterna que Jesús nos ofrece!

But aren't such beliefs rather bigoted

and narrow-minded?

Jesus is not a religion! He simply went

about doing good, helping people and

sharing the Love of God with all whom

He could. He also made it clear that

forms and ceremonies, rituals and

religious buildings were in no way

necessary to worship God, but that we

could simply love and worship Him in

spirit, in our hearts and in truth.

Sin embargo, ¿esas creencias no tienen

un carácter dogmático e intolerante?  

¡Jesús no es ninguna religión! ¡Él sededicó sencillamente a hacer el bien, a

ayudar a la gente y a compartir el amorde Dios con cuantos podía. Jesústambién dejó claramente explicado quelos formalismos, las ceremonias, losrituales y los edificios religiosos nohacían ninguna falta para adorar a Dios,y que debíamos sencillamente amar y

adorar al Señor en espíritu, en nuestroscorazones y en verdad.

How can I know beyond a shadow of a doubt

whether or not Jesus Christ really is the Son

of God, the way of salvation?

You can find out if this claim is true by simply

asking Him to come into your life.

"Dear Jesus, I have heard that You are the Son

of God, and that through You I can personally

find and know the God of Love. I now open

the door of my heart, and I ask You, Jesus, to

please come in and give me Your free gift of

Eternal Life! In Jesus' name, amen."

¿Cómo puedo saber sin sombra de duda que

 Jesucristo es en verdad el Hijo de Dios, el

camino de la salvación?

Puedes comprobar tal cosa pidiéndolesencillamente que entre en tu vida.

"Querido Jesús, se me ha dicho que Tú eres elHijo de Dios, y que por tu intermedio puedoconocer personalmente el amor de Dios. Poreso, te abro la puerta de mi corazón y te ruego,

 Jesús, que entres y me des Tu regalo de la vidaeterna. En el nombre de Jesús, amén."
