COURSE OUTLINE:

• Identify relevant Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) legislations / approved codes of practice / Singapore standards applicable to WAH roles and responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessment for WAH and implement preventive measures related to WAH

• Implement a Fall Preventive Plan (FPP)

• Demonstrate competency in donning, checking and correcting of individual Fall Protection equipment andfirsttimeresponseinemergency

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

Line supervisors, foreman and those in charge of workers who are performing work-at-height task.

ASSUMED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Recommended for the trainee to achieve WSQ ESS Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 4 (E.g. Secondary 2).

COURSE DURATION (12Hrs, including 3Hrs assessment):

• Day Class - 1.5 Days (Day: 1 9am-6pm; Day 2: 9am-12noon)

• Evening Class - 4 Evenings (6.45pm - 9.45pm)

• Weekend Class - 1.5 Days (Over 2 Sundays)

• Special Class can be arrange provided that the minumum class size is met.

This course is designed to assist supervisors with the requisite Work At

Height knowledge to supervise, manage work at height activities and also to reduce work at height risks in the workplaces. It is a mandatory course for individuals who are assigned to carry out work at height supervision in the workplace.
