• Interoperability tests– We participate in all Interoperability tests with Prototype software– Challenge is to build interoperability between heterogenous systems– Last Interoperability meeting in San Jose (CA):
Esko-Graphics BackStage consumes JDF imposition from Preps (Creo)– Further cooperation initiatives ongoing (MIS, Online collaboration, ...), we
will show more real life use-cases at the upcoming Interoperability Meetings.
• Conclusion– Esko-Graphics is Full Member of the CIP4 organization and plays an active
role in the JDF developments for pre-production workflows.– Key development areas:
- PDF as the native data container- JDF as the electronic job-bag
– JDF links to 3rd party MIS systems have high priority
