What is ESN?
The biggest non-profit student organisation in Europe
Principle: “Students helping students” (all members work on a voluntary basis)
ESN is present in 40 countries, and has +500 sections around Europe.
Everyone, regardless of your nationality or programme, is VERY WELCOME to participate in all of our activities!
ESN Joensuu - What we do
We organize events, trips and activities for students in Joensuu
We bring together Finnish and international students
We participate in international and national events and projects of ESN

How to join ESN Joensuu?
Members of ISYY are automatically members of ESN Joensuu
ESN Card holders are not automatically ESN Joensuu members.

If you have ISYY membership, youcan get yours for 5 € at the Student Union (ISYY) office
Non-ISYY member price: 10 €

ESN Members: Come to our events and enjoy! You
can participate for free or you can get an ESN/ISYY
member discount.
ESN Active Members: Come to our meetings and help
ESN Joensuu Board Members: the people responsible
for events and trips

September to learn more!
Board positions:
• President (leader of the gang)
• Vice-president & LR (keeps in touch with ESN Finland, the bearer of news)
• Treasurer & trip coordinator (money, money, money... trips, trips, trips...)
• 2 Event Managers (the masterminds who organize our events)
• Communication Manager (takes care of social media, keeps our website running and...communicates)
• Graphic Designer and photographer (creates flyers, is the visionary behind everything, takes/collects photos, catches us in our most photogenic faces (preferably)).
