Film Screening: King of Hearts - During the latter part of World War I, Private Charles Plumpick is chosen to go into a French town and disconnect a bomb that the German army has planted. Charles is chased by some Germans and finds himself holed up at the local insane asylum, where the in-mates are convinced that he is the “King of Hearts.” This film is in conjunction with UNC-G’s War and Peace Imagined. Film Screening: The Light Between Oceans - Lighthouse keeper Tom Sherbourne (Michael Fassbender) and radiant, spirited Isabel (Alicia Vikander) live together in married bliss on a remote island off the coast of Australia.
