DAY 1Line Manager/HR Engages ESP to assist with an assignment.
DAY 2ESP meets with Line Manager/ HR to take a detailed brief.
DAY 3-4ESP put together a detailed market map, providing in depth analysis (backgrounds, reputations, career stage, results of informal ref checks). A market map is presented to the client and a plan is put in place to engage selected candidates based on the brief.
DAY 4-5ESP approach selected candidates from the market map and start to brief targets face to face.
DAY 6ESP present shortlisted candidates to the Line Manager and interview times are set up (maximum of 3–4 candidates).
DAY 6-81st, 2nd 3rd stage interviews and any testing completed, formal reference check process started, verbal offer made and accepted.
Candidate starts in the role. Regular follow ups put in place with the candidate and the client for first 6 months to ensure smooth transition.
Time, money and resources saved as right candidate delivered in a tight time frame. Risk is managed as candidate has already been thoroughly vetted.

COST MANAGEMENT
Whilst Essential Selection offers a search & selection process for all roles it does not
come with a traditional ‘search’ fee upon completion. Instead, Essential Selection
guarantees to match existing PSA rates with the long term goal of becoming your
number one supplier.
CONTAINING THE SEARCH & SENSITIVE ASSIGNMENTS
Essential Selection is highly experienced in delivering more ‘sensitive’ assignments
where searches are contained to a ‘need to know basis’. Often only 3 – 4 candidates
will be fully briefed on an assignment which reduces the risk of your role being
leaked to the wider market (and existing finance function).
