AnnieRandolph,BS,CBISAnnie has been a Neuro-Resource Facilitator with the Brain InjuryAlliance of Iowa since the Fall of 2014. Annie is from Ankeny, IA, andgraduatedfromIowaStateUniversityin2012withherBachelor’sDegreein Child, Adult, and Family Services. She currently lives in Sheldahl, IA,with her husband and one-and-a-half-year-old, rambunctious, andhilarious son, Clayton. She has a strong passion for helping thosewhoaregoingthroughlife’schallenges.Herpriorworkexperiencewasinthedomesticandsexualviolencefield,helpingsurvivorsofabuseconnecttosupportsandregaintheirsenseofself.Sheisapassionatefeministwholoves helping people through the power of positivity. Adiscussion of the purpose and process ofNRF and it’s importance to those affected by braininjury. We will discuss the common barriers that survivors and families face. Screenings andassessmenttoolswillbedefinedanddiscussed,andyouwilllearnaboutadvocacy,outreach,andeducationBIAIAdoestoincreaseawarenessaboutbraininjuryandaccesstoservices.
