What Are The Essentials?What Are The Essentials?• The Gospel is Essential• 1. We are saved by the gospel (Rom. 1:16):

– “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”

• 2. Paul defined the gospel (1 Cor. 15:1-5):– “I declare to you the gospel…by which you are saved…that

• “As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one”…. “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God.…There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Rom. 3:10-23).
