Introduction
ESSOM was founded in 1986 by a group of engineers. Our main objective was to market DevilBiss paint spray equipment. A few years later the company began to manufacture engineering education equipment. Over the years, paint spray equipment from Bink, Ransburg and Nihon Parkerizer were added. At the same time, engineering education equipment has grown from import substitute to worldwide export.
Location
Our head office is located on Taksin road in Bangkok metropolis while our factory is in Nakornpathom which is 30 km to the west. The factory comprises machine shop, fabrication areas, electrical shop, paint shop, design office, test area, finished product warehouse, show rooms, training room and factory administration office, covering a total area of over 2000 square meters.
Quality assurance
ESSOM has been certified ISO 9001 Quality Management System since 1999. The scope includes design and manufacturing of engineering education equipment as well as sales and services of both engineering education and paint spray equipment. All our equipments have been designed by our experienced and well qualified engineers with prototypes passing design test standards before market introduction. Parts and materials for the equipment are sourced from approved supplier/material lists and are of readily available industrial components. In-process inspection is carried out at key manufacturing stages with final inspection after completion.
Products
Development of new products is based on market requirements as well as trend in educational innovation and technological development. Most of our equipments are available for inspection and/or test run in our factory show room. Popular items are normally deliverable from stock.
Software
Software programs are available for most of our equipment. Learning software for equipment without live signal provides information per manual. For equipment with transducers, analog signals are converted to digital, after which operating software displays and analyzes the data on computer.
In the case of computer control, control of key operation is through touch screen computer or notebook.
Manuals
Each product is supplied with instruction manual which generally consists of equipment description, relevant theory, installation and commissioning where applicable, equipment operation and test procedures, typical test data and results, sample calculations and graphs as well as related maintenance and trouble shooting.
Services
We maintain over 15 well trained engineers and scientists and a number of experienced technicians readily available to provide services such as equipment set up, installation and commissioning. In addition, we also build special equipment for research and other purposes to meet client special requirement as well as providing assistance in planning new laboratory.

UNISA has purchased all its Thermodynamics equipment from ESSOM, and herewith we would like to express our satisfaction with the products. live signals and Operating Software for equipments with live signals.

The software provides information on equipment description, relevant theory, experiment procedures, typical data, to give required
calculations upon entering input data manually and to give hard copy printout.

OPERATING SOFTWARE
There are two levels of the software i.e. Computer Interface and Computer Control.
For Computer Interface, sensors analog outputs are converted to digital by an interface module. The software is programmed for the
digital signals to be displayed and/or analyzed by computer.
For Computer Control, an interface module and motors and/or software program are used in place of relevant manual adjustment, and
software data are displayed, analyzed and controlled by computer.
