Dementia Friends Have you or anyone you love been diagnosed with de-mentia? Have you been concerned about your memory or the memory of someone that you love? Dementia Friends is a national effort to educate communities about this ill-ness in the hopes of changing our perception or miscon-ceptions about it. Our goal is to help understanding and offer action for the benefit of those living with the disease as well as family and friends impacted by it. At 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 3rd, 2018, St. Aloysius will host a one hour Dementia Friends information session in the CCD Center. Our presenters will share personal stories about living with dementia, information about the disease process, discussion on normal memory aging vs abnor-mal memory concerns, caregiver/personal coping strate-gies, and resources/supports.

A Man of His Word, Pope Francis Pope Francis: A Man of His Word, is in-tended to be a personal journey with Pope Francis, rather than a biographical docu-mentary about him. The pope’s ideas and his message are central to this documen-tary, which sets out to present his work of reform and his answers to today’s global questions. From his deep concern for the poor and wealth inequality, to his involve-

ment in environmental issues and social justice, Pope Francis engages the audience face-to-face and calls for peace. The movie will be in select theaters May 18, 2018. The movie will be playing at AMC Plainville 20.
