The space tells the process in history of how natural and synthetic fibers were developed. The space
reflects the natural fibers with loose, free forms; and the artificial qualities in linear, tensioned silhouettes.

Goodwill Attended Donation Center
Attended Donation Centers allow people to donate objects to Goodwill resulting in promoting jobs for the community.
A modern, simple form inspired by Mies Van Der Rohe's philosophy of "Less is more". To celebrate Goodwill's constant innovation and engagement with the community while accommodating to the needs of their customers. “Less is more” relates to donating as well, the things that you can give can mean so much more to other people than yourself, so you end up with less, but you are giving someone much more than just the material. With donations you are providing jobs and changing lives. Goodwill represents that, change, success, courage, community and simplicity.

Router House,
The inspiration behind the design was to create a “Safe Haven” for a young couple where they could both enjoy their own spaces as well as shared areas. The main idea was seeing how casted shadows play through out the house with nature around it and how light creates beautiful angular shapes in the interior.

WHERE
Play Day day care is a center for Hispanic Immigrant families in the United States. The idea is to provide kids with proper education and early stimulation. This center also focuses on improving the parent's lives by offering a learning center that will help them adapt in a new country and provide resources for them that will encourage them to successfully start a new chapter of their lives.
WHO
BECAUSE there is a great need for early childhood education in the U.S and an even greater one for immigrant hispanics.
WHY
212 NE 59TH Terrace, Miami, FL
PLAY DAY Day Care and Family Center , Miami, FL
North- South Section
CONCEPT
Change is seen as a daunting initiative, for many immigrant families, change is inevitable. A wise Greek philosopher once stated No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man. He also stated there is nothing permanent, except change. There are things humans are impotent to, change is one of those, however the idea of adjustments brings many new opportunities and embraces transition. This space's concept is to act as a gate for transformation. Taking small steps to create big futures for the kids as well as the families.
