•Coca-Cola vice-president, strategy and commercial beverages, Sangeeta Pendurkar, is quitting beverage maker to take over as Managing Director of Kellogg’s India.

•Ms. Pendurkar will replace Anupam Dutta who, after three years as MD of Kellogg’s India, relocated last month to head Kellogg’s South Africa and sub-Sahara operations.

•Over the last 18 months at Coca Cola, Ms. Pendurkar steered the revamp of company’s Georgia tea and coffee businesses, and innovation in beverages like Nimbu Fresh.

•Aulbur will complete five years as the Indian Head of German car-maker Mercedes by the end of 2010.

•Aulbur has deciced to accept a new challenge outside the Daimler group within India.

•Aulbur will remain with Mercedes-Benz India till a successor is identified to ensure a smooth transaction.

•The government has given a booster shot to the economy in the form of a 10% salary increase for 88 lakh employees and pensioners.

•The total dearness allowance increase in the current year is a massive 18%.

•The government will pay Rs. 9,303 crore extra every year to Central Government employees.

•BoR employees have been migrated to ICICI Bank pay scale.

•Wage bill of BoR has gone up from around Rs. 150 crore to around Rs. 185 core.
