The reason the Gypsy Shaman, or Chovihano, Manuel showed me a collection of 15 rubber hoses; that is that at least I believed there were 15 hoses, I understand now, is that in my experience in the Sacromonte (Gypsy Caves of Granada, Spain) I only heard people play flamenco or deep song in the meters of 3 (fandango), 4 (tangos), 6 (bulerias), 8 (tangos), 9 (18 or six three times being bulerias), 12 (Soleares), and Rumba (16). Other than 2, 7, 11, and 15 all is accounted for as 14 is seven twice. 15 is both an expression of 5 and 10. The two

is Manuel’s taoistic vision that “Dios es una idea, Son dos” (God is an idea, there are two elements). So, 15 stands outside of guitar as I knew it, and Manuel as sha-man, stands outside of flamenco and deep song looking in.

I realize now, too, that since flamenco is marked 12, 3, 6, 10, 12 as accents in twelve beats, and you start counting on twelve in the standard view of the most vi-brant genre, called bulerias, that my sequel to my work “Discover And Contact” called “Discover And Contact Two”, was suggested because you can start count-ing on one in threes and get 1, 4, 7, ... for accents.

Thus in my work Discovery And Contact we worked the with the set (9/5, 5/3, 2) which we can call a functional group and we worked with 15 outside the set, which we can call an operator, as I conveniently like to look at it now. I called this the basis of a Cosmology, but perhaps I should be clear that it is not the meaning of Cosmology in Astronomy, which is the scientific approach to understanding the origin and fate of the Universe as well as its structure, but is the term as used in Ar-chaeology, which can refer to any prehistoric, or culture’s creation myth that they use to account for the Universe. We worked with the new set in my work Discover And Contact Two that is (1, 4, 7).

We are now left in this work to consider 7 and 11. We only count as far as 16 because that is considered the ultimate form of expression in North Indian Classi-cal Music.

We begin by looking at 7 divided by 11 or the fraction seven elevenths (7/11) which divided out is 0.636363636...

We at once notice it has the repetition of 36 out to infinity, and make the con-nection that 3.6 is 1.8 multiplied by two and 1.8 is nine-fifths ( 9/5). Remember that 9/5 was one of three key numbers in the Cosmology we laid out in Discover And Contact. Nine to five is the molar mass of gold to that of silver. Nine to five is the ratio of the solar radius to the lunar orbital radius; The sun is gold in color, the moon silver.

3.6 is the second term in the sequence where each successive term is a whole number multiple of 1.8. Venus is the second planet out from the sun. It is 0.72 as-tronomical units from the sun (average earth-sun separations). It is considered a failed earth and 7.2 is the fourth term in the sequence where each successive term is a whole number multiple of 1.8. Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun. It is the most promising planet to colonize.

Seven is the planet Uranus, there is no eleventh planet (at least that we know of).  The planets are named after Ancient Greek Gods or their Roman Equivalents.  Uranus is the Greek God of the sky and husband and son to Gaia, who was the personification of the Earth and was the mother of all.  Venus is the Goddess of love, one could say she is the Greek version of the East Semetic Ak-kadian, Assyrian, or Babylonian Ishtar.  It would seem all can be traced back to the Ancient Sumerians, who were the predecessors of these civilizations in Ancient Mesopotamia.

11 diviided by 7 is the comparison of 11 to 7 but, it makes just as much sense to add 7 to 11 because it is the separation between bodies when they are on oppo-site sides of the sun, one at 11 the other at 7. 7+11 = 18 and 7+11 is like 6 + 12 which is 18. This is the essence of the flamenco genre bulerias, it is 6 three times.

We make the two sequences:

a_n = (11/7)1, (11/7)2, (11/7)3, (11/7)4,...

And,

a_n = 7, 7+11=18, 18+11=29, 29+11=40,...

Which gives,

a_n = 1.57, 3.142857, 4.714, 6.2857,...

And,

a_n = 7, 18, 29, 40,...

We take their difference and get:

a_n=5.43, 14.857, 24.286, 33.7143,...

14.857-5.43 = 9.427 24.286-14.857 = 9.429 33.7143-24.286 = 9.4283

And we see the common difference, d, is d = 9.4

In the spirit of our earlier work we look at the third term in the sequence to find a name for it because the Earth is the third planet from the sun. We find it is 25.8.

Clarifying Points

It must be clear that my communication with the Gypsy Shaman that seems real, is not real but a trick. We can assume The Gypsy Shaman has seen the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey and has designed the nature of our apparent telepathic communication according the the AE-35 antenna in that movie, the AE-35 was the communication of the ship Discover to Earth on its voyage to Jupiter. The way it works is that he we are alone together in his cave when he shows me his hose collection and has me place one in it with the others that I bought him, and at that moment he becomes open where his self is concerned, I trusting him, do the same, so he becomes me and I become him. Then he has me help him install an antenna for television reception and at that moment, ourselves again revealed to one another, I see and hear him in every thought I have, and feel even though we are separated later, he sees and hears me in every thought I have, because be-ing him, I respond to him as he would do.

We must address why what I am doing is science. Having found nine-fifths in nature, in gold, silver, sun and moon, largest, most massive planets Jupiter and Sat-urn and having showed it connected profoundly to pi combined with the golden ratio and pi combined Euler’s number, we have hypothesized that extraterrestrials have known this exists in nature, and interestingly in our solar system, so they would use it to send us a message. We use the relationship to find

three equations that make a plane in space and with that find a normal vector to the plane, and, here is the thing, it points to Sagittarius, where the SETI Wow! sig-nal originated from, which is the one signal so far the SETI program (Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence) has received that has everything we would expect one to have if it was extraterrestrial. Interestingly, the signal lasts 72 seconds and in the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey the antenna is reported by ship computer HAL to fail in 72 seconds. What is more 72 is a whole number multiple of the 9/5 used to make the equations that point to Sagittarius. 7.2 is four times 9/5. And, as well 72 is the amount of years it takes the Earth to precess one degree in its precession of equinoxes. As well 0.72 astronomical units is the average distance of Venus from the sun. Venus is considered a failed Earth, and the AE-35 was a failed an-tenna.

What I am doing is also science because we have found that even though the the weights and lengths we have assigned to our units of measurement seem to have evolved sometimes randomly, other times through a complicated history, are oddly connected to the occurrence of the 9/5 found in nature and the universe. We hypothesize, then, that extraterrestrials have influenced the development of our systems of units since perhaps even ancient times. We also offer the other pos-sible explanation, that 9/5 could naturally occur in a randomly evolved system (like our systems of units) through some nature of mathematics.

The Sequences

Let us look at the Calculation That Points To Sagittarius

We start with five and add 9 to each successive term:

5, 14, 23, 32,…

and take the whole number multiples of 9/5:

1.8, 3.6, 5.4, 7.2,…

We take the difference between the two sequences:

3.2, 10.4, 17.6, 24.8,…

Which is an arithmetic sequence with common difference of 7.2 meaning it is written

Start with 8 and add 5 to each additional term (we throw a twist by not starting with 5)

5/3 => 8, 13, 18, 23,…

List the numbers that are whole number multiples of 5/3:

Subtract respective terms in the second sequence from those in the first:

6.3, 9.7, 13, 16.3,…

This is an arithmetic sequence with common difference 3.3. It can be written:

We then sought the Yang of six-fold symmetry because it is typical to physical nature, like snowflakes. We said it was 5/3 since it represents the 120 degree meas-ure of angles in a regular hexagon. Now we consider the alternate yang:

I have found nine-fifths occurs throughout nature in the rotation of petals around a a flower for a most popular arrangement, in the orbits of jupiter to sat-urn in their closest approaches to the sun, in the ratio of the molar masses of gold to silver, and in the ratio of the solar radius to the lunar orbit. I now further go on to say that this nine-fifths unifies the two most important ratios in mathematics pi and the golden ratio (phi), in that

pi + phi = 3.141 + 1.618 = 4.759

Because the numbers after the decimal in the sum (the important part) are 5 and 9 and 7, the average of 5 and nine.

I have talked about how 9/5, which I have found exists in Nature and the Uni-verse, unifies pi and the golden ratio (phi):

(pi) + (phi) = 3.141 + 1.618 = 4.759

because the first three numbers after the decimal are 7, 5 and 9. Seven is the average of nine and five, and the second number is our 5 in nine-fifths and the third number is the 9 in nine-fifths.

It would seem 9/5 unifies euler’s number, e, and pi, as well:

(pi) + (e) = 3.141 + 2.718 = 5.859

The second number after the decimal is the 5 in nine-fifths, and the third num-ber after the decimal is the 9 in nine-fifths. The first number after the decimal is eight. This is significant because the 8 is the 8 in 1.8, which is 9/5 divided out. The one will take you all the way around a circle, what is left is 0.8.

With three equations we can write the parameterized equations in 3-dimensional space, parameterized in terms of t, for x, y, and z. We can write from that f(x,y,z) and find the gradient vector, or normal to the equation of a plane in other words, and from that a region in space.

The projection by my calculation through my cosmology of yin, yang, and 15 for the origin of my message from extraterres-trials was somewhere in the easternmost part of the constellation Sagittarius. This happens to be the same place where the one possible alien signal was detected in the Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). It was called “The Wow Signal” because on August 15, 1977 the big ear antenna received something that seemed not like star noise, but exactly what they were looking for in an extraterrestrial signal. Its name is what it is because the astronomer on duty, Jerry R. Eh-man wrote “Wow!” next to the numbers when they came in. Incredibly, it lasted the full 72 seconds that the Big Ear an-tenna listened for it. I say incredible because I have mentioned the importance of 72, not just in my Neptune equation – for which my location in space was derived in part – but because of its connection to the Gypsy Shaman’s AE-35 antenna and its relation to 72 in the movie “2001: A Space Odyssey”. The estimation of the coordinates for the origin of the Wow signal are two:

That is about 2.5 degrees from the star group Chi Sagittarri

It is very close to my calculation for an extraterrestrial civilization that I feel hid a message in our physics, which I calculate to be near HD 184835 and exactly at:

The telescope that detected the Wow Signal was at Ohio Wesleyan University Delaware, Ohio called The Perkins Observa-tory.

Gypsy Shamanism And The Universe

But let us tell the story of everything that lead to this, in a short piece titled Gypsy Shamanism And the Universe.

All That Can Be Said

They originated in the Far East, and passed some through the south, and oth-ers through the north over a period of A Thousand Years through deserts.  They became Artists, and camped where there was no one else, and went unseen and un-known during all that time, only to unite and settle at Land’s End, in neighbor-hoods, barrios, or quarters of western construct, and to let out only one verse of one of their poets, who is anonymous:  “If there is someone in the street, he is fa-miliar with it.  If there is someone in the street, he knows him.”

Chapter 1

AE-35

I wrote a short story last night, called Gypsy Shamanism and the Universe about the AE-35 unit, which is the unit in the movie and book 2001: A Space Od-yssey that HAL reports will fail and discontinue communication to Earth. I de-cided to read the passage dealing with the event in 2001 and HAL, the ship com-

puter, reports it will fail in within 72 hours. Strange, because Venus is the source of 7.2 in my Neptune equation and represents failure, where Mars represents suc-cess.

It must have been 1989 or 1990 when I took a leave of absence from The Uni-versity Of Oregon, studying Spanish, Physics, and working at the state observa-tory in Oregon -- Pine Mountain Observatory—to pursue flamenco in Spain.

The Moors, who carved caves into the hills for residence when they were build-ing the Alhambra Castle on the hill facing them, abandoned them before the Gyp-sies, or Roma, had arrived there in Granada Spain. The Gypsies were resourceful enough to stucco and tile the abandoned caves, and take them up for homes.

Living in one such cave owned by a gypsy shaman, was really not a down and out situation, as these homes had plumbing and gas cooking units that ran off bot-tles of propane. It was really comparable to living in a Native American adobe home in New Mexico.

Of course living in such a place came with responsibilities, and that included watering its gardens. The Shaman told me: “Water the flowers, and, when you are done, roll up the hose and put it in the cave, or it will get stolen”. I had stud-ied Castilian Spanish in college and as such a hose is “una manguera”, but the Shaman called it “una goma” and goma translates as rubber. Roll up the hose and put it away when you are done with it: good advice!

So, I water the flowers, rollup the hose and put it away. The Shaman comes to the cave the next day and tells me I didn’t roll up the hose and put it away, so it got stolen, and that I had to buy him a new one.

He comes by the cave a few days later, wakes me up asks me to accompany him out of The Sacromonte, to some place between there and the old Arabic city, Al-baicin, to buy him a new hose.

It wasn’t a far walk at all, the equivalent of a few city blocks from the caves. We get to the store, which was a counter facing the street, not one that you could enter. He says to the man behind the counter, give me 5 meters of hose. The man behind the counter pulled off five meters of hose from the spindle, and cut the hose to that length. He stated a value in pesetas, maybe 800, or so, (about eight dollars at the time) and the Shaman told me to give that amount to the man behind the counter, who was Spanish. I paid the man, and we left.

I carried the hose, and the Shaman walked along side me until we arrived at his cave where I was staying. We entered the cave stopped at the walk way be-tween living room and kitchen, and he said: “follow me”. We went through a tun-nel that had about three chambers in the cave, and entered one on our right as we were heading in, and we stopped and before me was a collection of what I esti-mated to be fifteen rubber hoses sitting on ground. The Shaman told me to set the one I had just bought him on the floor with the others. I did, and we left the chamber, and he left the cave, and I retreated to a couch in the cave living room.

Chapter 2

Gypsies have a way of knowing things about a person, whether or not one dis-closes it to them in words, and The Shaman was aware that I not only worked in

Astronomy, but that my work in astronomy involved knowing and doing electron-ics.

So, maybe a week or two after I had bought him a hose, he came to his cave where I was staying, and asked me if I would be able to install an antenna for tele-vision at an apartment where his nephew lived.

So this time I was not carrying a hose through The Sacromonte, but an an-tenna.

There were several of us on the patio, on a hill adjacent to the apartment of The Shaman’s Nephew, installing an antenna for television reception.

Chapter 3

I am now in Southern California, at the house of my mother, it is late at night, she is a asleep, and I am about 24 years old and I decide to look out the window, east, across The Atlantic, to Spain. Immediately I see the Shaman, in his living room, where I had eaten a bowl of the Gypsy soup called Puchero, and I hear the word Antenna. I now realize when I installed the antenna, I had become one, and was receiving messages from the Shaman.

The Shaman’s Children were flamenco guitarists, and I learned from them, to play the guitar. I am now playing flamenco, with instructions from the shaman to put the gypsy space program into my music. I realize I am not just any antenna, but the AE35 that malfunctioned aboard The Discovery just before it arrived at the planet Jupiter in Arthur C. Clarke’s and Stanley Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Od-yssey”. The Shaman tells me, telepathically, that this time the mission won’t fail.

Chapter 4

I am watching Star Wars and see a spaceship, which is two oblong capsules fly-ing connected in tandem. The Gypsy Shaman says to me telepathically: “Dios es una idea: son dos”. I understand that to mean “God is an idea: there are two ele-ments”. So I go through life basing my life on the number two.

Chapter 5

Once one has tasted Spain, that person longs to return. I land in Madrid, Northern Spain, The Capitol. The Spaniards know my destination is Granada, Southern Spain, The Gypsy Neighborhood called The Sacromonte, the caves, and immediately recognize I am under the spell of a Gypsy Shaman, and what is more that I am The AE35 Antenna for The Gypsy Space Program. Flamenco be-ing flamenco, the Spaniards do not undo the spell, but reprogram the instructions for me, the AE35 Antenna, so that when I arrive back in the United States, my fla-menco will now state their idea of a space program. It was of course, flamenco be-ing flamenco, an attempt to out-do the Gypsy space program.

Chapter 6

I am back in the United States and I am at the house of my mother, it is night time again, she is asleep, and I look out the window east, across the Atlantic, to Spain, and this time I do not see the living room of the gypsy shaman, but the streets of Madrid at night, and all the people, and the word Jupiter comes to mind and I am about to say of course, Jupiter, and The Spanish interrupt and say “Yes, you are right it is the largest planet in the solar system, you are right to consider it, all else will flow from it.”

I know ratios, in mathematics are the most interesting subject, like pi, the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter, and the golden ratio, so I consider the ratio of the orbit of Saturn (the second largest planet in the solar system) to the orbit of Jupiter at their closest approaches to The Sun, and find it is nine-fifths (nine compared to five) which divided out is one point eight (1.8).

I then proceed to the next logical step: not ratios, but proportions. A ratio is this compared to that, but a proportion is this is to that as this is to that. So the question is: Saturn is to Jupiter as what is to what? Of course the answer is as Gold is to Silver. Gold is divine; silver is next down on the list. Of course one does not compare a dozen oranges to a half dozen apples, but a dozen of one to a dozen of the other, if one wants to extract any kind of meaning. But atoms of gold and silver are not measured in dozens, but in moles. So I compared a mole of gold to a mole of silver, and I said no way, it is nine-fifths, and Saturn is indeed to Jupiter as Gold is to Silver.

I said to myself: How far does this go? The Shaman’s son once told me he was in love with the moon. So I compared the radius of the sun, the distance from its center to its surface to the lunar orbital radius, the distance from the center of the earth to the center of the moon. It was Nine compared to Five again!

Chapter 7

I had found 9/5 was at the crux of the Universe, but for every yin there had to be a yang. Nine fifths was one and eight-tenths of the way around a circle. The one took you back to the beginning which left you with 8 tenths. Now go to eight tenths in the other direction, it is 72 degrees of the 360 degrees in a circle. That is the separation between petals on a five-petaled flower, a most popular arrange-

ment. Indeed life is known to have five-fold symmetry, the physical, like snow-flakes, six-fold. Do the algorithm of five-fold symmetry in reverse for six-fold sym-metry, and you get the yang to the yin of nine-fifths is five-thirds.

Nine-fifths was in the elements gold to silver, Saturn to Jupiter, Sun to moon. Where was five-thirds? Salt of course. “The Salt Of The Earth” is that which is good, just read Shakespeare’s “King Lear”. Sodium is the metal component to ta-ble salt, Potassium is, aside from being an important fertilizer, the substitute for So-dium, as a metal component to make salt substitute. The molar mass of potas-sium to sodium is five to three, the yang to the yin of nine-fifths, which is gold to silver. But multiply yin with yang, that is nine-fifths with five-thirds, and you get 3, and the earth is the third planet from the sun.

I thought the crux of the universe must be the difference between nine-fifths and five-thirds. I subtracted the two and got two-fifteenths! Two compared to fif-teen! I had bought the Shaman his fifteenth rubber hose, and after he made me into the AE35 Antenna one of his first transmissions to me was: “God Is An Idea: There Are Two Elements”.

It is so obvious, the most abundant gas in the Earth Atmosphere is Nitrogen, chemical group 15!

Extraterrestrial Activity

The Black Night Satellite became know to the public on May 14 1954 in an article that appeared in the San Francisco Examiner. No one including NASA could ex-plain its origins and it is thought by many to be an alien made satellite orbiting the Earth, monitoring us. It brings to mind the Monolith of 2001: A Space Odyssey. It turned out to be an alien sentinel placed on earth to monitor us and give us an evolutionary nudge when we needed it. Why did not NASA retrieve it with the space shuttle? My guess is they figured they did not know what they were dealing with. As we could learn from 2001: A Space Odyssey, the monolith should be ap-proached with caution. The interesting thing is that A Ham Radio operator who received signals from it, decoded them and learned the satellite was 13,000 years old and came from the double star epsilon bootis. That is further interesting in that Our Cosmic Ancestors by Maurice Chatelain told of a story how there was some sort of echo in communication experiments. The echo was studied and its pattern if used on the televisions of the time came out to be a map of the constella-tion bootes as reported by the Scottish Astronomer Duncan Lunan, highlighting the same star that The Black Night has been reporting to as determined by the Ham Radio operator.

Back in 2005 I in my book Decoding The Universe Two I wrote something that pertains to the Black Knight Satellite. Consider that the satellite is presumed to be extraterrestrial and is sending information to the constellation Bootes. I no-ticed that the closest star to us, Alpha Centauri, since it is the closest and I point out now that it is composed of a star just like the Sun, that it should be connected

to the Earth. Well it is: the Earth is the third planet from the Sun and Alpha Cen-tauri is the third brightest star in the sky. I then proceed to consider the largest planet, and most massive in the Solar System and it is Jupiter. If the above pattern repeats, it should connected to the brightest star in the sky. Well it is: Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and Sirius is the fifth nearest star in the sky.

Let us now consider what Carl Sagan Said: to travel in space is to sail upon the cosmic ocean. Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun and is the best candidate for a body to colonize as it is solid (not gaseous) and is not too cold, or to warm. How appropriate! The brightest star in the constellation Bootes is Arcturus and it is the fourth brightest star in the sky. Also Bootes means “The Boatman”. Is the Black Knight Satellite then, since theory has it is from Bootes, guiding us towards setting sail upon the cosmic ocean to colonize Mars?

Conclusion

In Discover And Contact we began with Manuel, the Chovihano, or Gypsy Sha-man. We began with how he made me into the AE-35 Antenna, which was the unit in the movie 2001: a Space Odyssey that was reported to fail by the ship Dis-covery computer HAL to astronaut Dave Bowman, within 72 hours. We noted that making me into the AE-35 antenna made me telepathic with Manuel, which was not a real telepathy, but psychological trick induced when he showed me his collection of 15 rubber hoses in his cave in Granada, Spain. 72 is important be-cause as it would turn out the precession of the Earth Equinoxes are one degree in 72 years. The number 15 is important because the Earth rotates through 15 de-grees in one hour.

But it becomes more interesting when I show that Gold to Silver in molar mass is nine to five and so is the solar radius to the lunar orbital radius, and, the sun is Gold in color, the moon silver. This results in the Neptune Equation, which has the multiplier of 7.2 from Venus Orbit in astronomical units and Venus is a failed Earth, and Hal reports the AE-35 will fail in 72 hours.

As if this was not enough, we showed that 9 to 5, which is one point eight, de-scribes the digits after the decimals both in pi added to the golden ratio and in pi added to Euler’s number and, 9/5 results in one of three equations that make a plane in space whose normal vector points to the constellation Sagittarius, where SETI, the program for the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence detected a sig-

nal on August 15, 1977 which had all of the characteristics of being a signal from off earth intelligence. The signal lasted exactly 72 seconds: the same 72 of the 72 hours before the AE-35 would fail aboard Discovery, the same 72 that is the 0.72 Astronomical Units of Venus, a failed Earth, from the Sun, and the same 72 years for the precession of the Earth Equinox.

7.2 occurs in my Neptune equation. Neptune is Poseidon, the Greek God of the Sea. We can say both that 2001: A Space Odyssey is a space odyssey version of the Ancient Greek work Illiad and the Odyessy by Homer, and that it is a play on the idea that when we went into space, it was not unlike the early Odysseys upon the ocean in the Homer’s Illiad and the Odyssey. My Neptune equation is connected to the planet Neptune, which is named for the Greek God of the ocean: When you set sail upon the sea, you have appeal to the God of the ocean Neptune (Poseidon, Greek), and now we must appeal to Neptune the planet to travel safely through space.

Now we have delved into other experiences in the Sacromonte (Gypsy Caves), to see if we can find more. We have. We created two sets of three numbers, found their cross product and that it points to the constellation Pegasus. As it would turn out, Pegasus is the constellation where the first exoplanet was discov-ered to orbit a star like the Sun. Before that we looked at epsilon bootis because the constellation bootes is the boatman, and as well their seems to be some indica-tion that there is a thirteen thousand year old satellite orbiting the earth reporting to that constellation. Finally, since government physicist, Bob Lazar, has disclosed that he was back engineering alien spacecraft and was told the craft came from the star Zeta Reticuli star system, we looked at that star. We calculated that if you con-vert its Right ascension to degrees, it comes out to be very close to 45 and we also note its declination is almost -60 degrees; these are important angles in special regular polygons that tesselate and and allow us to calculate trignometric functions of angles. But most interestingly, we say now, is that the constellation to which Zeta Reticuli belongs is Reticulum, which was named by an astronomer Nicolas

Louis de Lacaille, to commemorate the reticle in his telescope eyepiece in the eight-eenth century. He was using the eyepiece to define the constellation as a bust of Columbus. It was the Italian Columbus who was funded by Spain (Isabella) to dis-cover a westerly route to India based on the idea that the world was round, but landed in America, discovering it.

Sometime after the Gypsy Shaman, Manuel of the Spain of Isabella, made me the AE-35 Antenna of a spaceship, not sea ship (like Columbus sailed), called Dis-covery, and set me on a course for contemplating space travel, I was intercepted by the Italy of Columbus, when I married a woman from Italy and went there with her several times, which set me on a course to discover that the nature of the uni-verse and mathematical constants are connected to the central extraterrestrial ac-tivity that seems to be occurring here on Earth. Concerning my work Discover and Contact Two Cristopher Columbus died on my Birthday, May 20 and where I went in Spain was Granada, which lead to my discoveries, and the tomb of Isa-bella la Catolica is in Granada. She funded the voyage of Columbus.

Contact Again

There is a way of calculating when the possible message from extraterrestrials in Sagittarius, the SETI Wow! Signal, will repeat it self. Our discovery of another message from the same place began with the Gypsy Shaman’s hose collection of 15 hoses making us realize that 15 was important because the Earth rotates through 15 degrees in an hour, and 15 seconds lead to the dynamic integral, Manuel’s Integral. The first message was on August 15, 1977. We noted that that 15 of August pointed to the Shaman’s 15 hoses and the two sevens in 1977 add up to 14, which when added to the one in 19 is 15 as well, while the 9 is the nine of nine-fifths that we found in Nature from which we calculated a place in Sagittarius where the SETI Wow! Signal is. We decoded another message on around May 5 of 2013. The next message should then be on August 15, 2015, to line up the Sha-man’s fifteens. August is a good time to view the constellation Sagittarius from where I am in Southern California. Sagittarius has always been my favorite con-stellation, because it is in the center of the Galaxy, rich with globular, and open clusters that can be viewed with binoculars. Summer is when stargazing becomes exciting because you get both a rich sky and warm, uplifting weather. Also, August is the eighth month and our nine-fifths divided out is one point eight.  The one takes you around a circle once, leaving point eight.

Did ETs Embed A Message

A diode is made of silicon (sand) doped with phosphorous and boron, all naturally occurring elements made (forged) in interior of stars. A silicon diode needs 0.6 volts to conduct a current. In a diode gate a high voltage is six volts and the cir-cuit is on and a low voltage, or ground (zero), the circuit is off. Off is coding for zero and on is coding for 1. Zeros and ones can be strung together to make num-bers, and letters in the alphabet.

Manuel, the Gypsy Shaman, said: “God is an Idea, There are two elements.” We can take this to be our Yin and Yang of 9/5 and 5/3. Low voltage and the cir-cuit is off; high voltage and the circuit is on. These, again, are the two elements of the Shaman’s yin and yang.

Because you have to run a diode at least 0.6 volts, this is subtracted from the six volts that turn the diode on, so really it operates on slightly less than six volts. This voltage drop of 0.6 Volts in the circuit is what we want to look at. We will evalu-ate the voltage drop over the Shaman’s mysterious 15 seconds and obtain an amount of power, then apply that power over one year – the time it takes the earth to go around the Sun. We have already found that the Shaman’s 15 not only uni-fies meters with the universe, but meters with feet, amazingly in the Uranus Inte-gral outlined both in The Exploits Of Manuel and Further Exploits Of Manuel.

The idea is that extraterrestrials somehow told us to measure electromotive potential with a unit of volts because it would produce the above number. Message Embedded In Computer Sci?

I have said, since my theory suggest extraterrestrials gave us our units of measurement, that extraterrestrials might have given us our variables used in physics and math, like the unit vectors (i, j, k). I have already found a pattern and posted it. However, I was doing my CS50x computer science homework and trying to write a program for Caesar’s Cipher. I wrote a small program and decided to test it. If you write a program and test it, standard input is “hello”. I put in hello and to test, ran the program for rotating characters by 1, and 2, and 3, as they are the first integers and the easiest with which to test your program. The result was the “h” on “hello”, came out to be (i, j, k). In other words you get that (i, j, k) is a hello from aliens in accordance with my earlier theories. If this is not real contact with extraterrestri-als, it is great content for a Sci-Fi movie about contact with extraterrestrials. Here is the program I wrote, and the re-sult of running it:

Just as we found our units of measurement, what they evolved into being and how we defined them, are centered around the triad of 9/5, 5/3, and 15, we might ask are our common usage of variables connected to Nature and the Universe as well. In pursuing such a question we look at:

(x, y, z,) as they represent the three axis is rectangular coordinates. We look at (i, j, k) as as they are the representa-tions for the unit vectors, and they correspond respectively to(x, y, z). We also look at (n) as it often means “number” and we look at (p and q) as they range from 0 to 1, in probabil-ity problems. We might first look at their binary and hexadecimal equivalents to get a start, if not their decimal equiva-lents. (i) is also often “integer” and (a, b, c) are the coefficients of a quadratic and are the corners of a triangle. We might add that (s) is length, as in physics dW=F ds. (a, b, c) have the same kind of correspondence with (x, y, z) as (i, j, k). All three sets, then, line up with one another and are at the basis of math and physics.

We see right away the connection of extraterrestrials, so far, is related to the explorer-pioneer idiom, which makes sense, because extraterrestrials are explorers and pioneers of the Universe.

Levis

The first appearance of blue jeans is in Italy, in a 17th century painting by an anonymous Italian painter showing a woman making them by hand. I have always known, from reading the label on the back of Levis that Levis was founded on my birthday, May 20. The year of founding was 1873. I was born in 1965.Wikipedia writes of the founder:A young man named Levi Strauss emigrated in 1851 from Germany to New York to be with his older brothers, who ran a dry goods store. In 1853 he moved to San Francisco to establish his own dry goods business.In 1872, Jacob Davis, a tailor who frequently purchased bolts of cloth from the Levi Strauss & Co. wholesale house, wrote to Levi asking to partner with him to patent and sell clothing reinforced with rivets.[5] Davis' idea was to use copper rivets to reinforce the points of stress, such as on the pocket corners and at the bottom of the button fly. I had written a novel called “The Reason” that points out Cristopher Columbus died on my birthday, May 20. I had pointed out that my discoveries in astronomy began in Granada, Spain. Granada is where the tomb of Queen Isabella The Catholic is, and she funded the voyage of Columbus, to find a western route to India, but ended up discovering America. I was playing flamenco in Spain, and blue jeans were thought to be very flamenco. I always wore Levis.

When I was in Spain, I saw nothing but blue jeans in the store windows. We understand immediately that Levis were originally made for cowboys working on the range. That is why they are riveted, to make them stronger at the stress points.

This is obviously a project that begins by talking about those things which are very flamenco, or very deep song (the Gypsy music of Spain)

Stetson

Walking through Granada with the Gypsy brothers Manolin and Antonio, we passed a billboard advertising Marlboro cigarettes. There depicted was the Marlboro man. There was a feeling that he was very flamenco. In my experience the cowboy hat of cow-boy hats has always been Stetson. Wikipedia writes of Stetson:

Founded in 1865, John B. Stetson Company began when the founder headed west and created the original hat of the West, the “Boss of the Plains”. This Western hat would become the cornerstone of Stetson’s hat business and is still in production today.Stetson eventually became the world’s largest hat maker, producing more than 3,300,000 hats a year in a factory spread over 9 acres (36,000 m2) in Philadelphia. So, Stetson was founded in 1865. I was born in 1965, exactly 100 years later.

Marlboro was started by Philip Morris and was established in 1924 as a woman's cigarette with the slogan “Mild as May”. We already said Cristopher Columbus died on my birthday, May 20 and that Levis was founded on my birthday, May 20. Once again I see May in that pioneer-explorer idiom. The Spirit Of Manuel

I lay awake on my bed, on my back, at midnight, a cool summer breeze blowing across my body through my window; The spirit of Manuel moved across me like a wave, carrying all the mystery the Gypsies had associated with with them that accrued in their being over the thousand years they went unseen, passing through the lands between India and Spain, wandering, at times in the desert, while living in camps by night.

Though I had already gone to Spain and met Manuel, It was as though someone I had never known was reaching out to me, and reeling me into something I had never experienced, I was the me before I lived in his cave tucked away on a hill in Southern Spain, or Andalucia, and he was the person he was before he ever met me. It was as if a Gypsy, 6000 miles away on the other side of the Atlantic, that I had never met, knew of my presence nonetheless, and was making me into him, even though I felt I was my old self all along.

La Gitana Morena

Before, in Spain, a young Gypsy Girl of my same age, her early twenties, took in my spirit, like she did with many, to keep and return to them in case they lost their true self to the trials of the world. I remember when I told her I play the Guitar, she said “That you play something for me, that will determine if you have anything at all!”

Manolin

Rabbi Wolpe said it best when he said Love the things you can’t own, like the Sun, the Stars, The Moon,... Manolin, a son of Manuel, told me one night he was in love with the moon. Others had told me Granada esta enbrujada (Granada is bewitched) and Todo es possible en Granada (All is possible in Granada). That is where I was, Granada the Gypsy Caves on a hill in the outskirts of the city called Sacromonte, facing Alhambra, an old Arabic castle on the facing hill.

The Caves

The caves were carved into the mountain by the workers who built the Alhambra hundreds of years ago. They were abandoned eventually, and the Gypsies inhabited them later, stuccoing them, tiling them, and putting in plumbing. The first cave I lived in was one that was just unearthed. There was a tile embedded in the wall that said, “Acoba Habela Jallipen”, which is Roma, or Gypsy for, “Here There Is Food”. Perhaps it was once a cafe.

Antonio

My Spanish teacher at The University of Oregon met with me in Madrid. She had a friend in Granada who knew the flamenco people of Sacromonte. I wanted to learn flamenco. She put me on a train to Granada. I met with the woman there, and she took me into the Sacromonte to a restaurant. We had lunch and when I spoke with the owner he told me his nephew, Antonio, could teach me guitar. He arranged for me to meet with him at the restaurant the next day. We went down the mountain to a cobble-stone alley between many beautiful old houses, and he gave me a lesson. He told me he had a cave in the Sacromonte I could rent from him. It had no running water, dirt floors, and no doors. I had been staying in a huespede (youth hostile) in Grandada near Plaza Nueva (New Plaza) with a couple fellow students from the University of Oregon who had met up with me later. I told one that I knew someone who could rent us a cave for much less. We met with him later at a cafe and negotiated it. We were moving to Sacromonte.

After moving to his cave, I lowered down into Plaza Nueva with my guitar. It was there that I met Manolin, the son of Manuel. There was no one he didn’t approach and he approched me and learned I was in Spain to learn guitar. He said to meet him the next day at his cave to plan lessons. When we got there he was with his brother and someone who was teaching him guitar, who was half Gypsy and half Spanish, and the half brother of the famous flamenco guitarist Tomatito. Eventually, getting to know Ma-nolin better, he offered to rent us his cave, which had white stuccoed walls, a sink, a bathroom, and a cooking unit that worked off propane. We moved in, and the Gypsy Shaman, or Chovihano, Manuel, had reeled me in.

As all roads lead to Rome, it was inevitable that my Gypsy trajectory would be derailed. A woman from Italy showed up on my doorstep in California, married me, and took me to her country.

Exopolitics

There I was sitting at a table in Turin Italy with my wife, sitting before her Aunt. It must have been the year 2000 or 2001. Arthur C. Clarke and Stanley Kubrick had written the seminal work 2001: A Space Odyssey that set the human paradigm for human space exploration in 2001. I think it was no coincidence that I was in Italy in that year or in 2000 as that was the new millennium. I may have been in Italy in both 2000 and 2001, as I went there three times. Whatever the case, sitting there at that table it was written in my face that I was thinking about something they had put me to think about, and that was, if there are places older than earth in the Universe, then there are places in the Universe that harbor intelligence far more advanced than we, and indeed if they can come to the Sun, another star, and we are not advanced enough yet to go to the stars, then any such intelligence is far more advanced than we are, and as such would have no problem taking the Earth. The question they were asking me that was written in their face was why haven’t they tried to take the Earth. I thought it was because there are many advanced worlds and while it would be in the interest of one world to take the Earth it would not be in the interest of another world if they tried. So the various worlds with their various policies keep each other in check, much the same way The United Nations tries to keep one country from invading another. When I thought that, they could see the idea written in my face, and they responded by setting an espresso in front of me and returning to the business of the day, seeming to say, as I read it in them, “Okay, that will be our position towards the extraterrestrial question here in Italy”.

After coming back to America, and getting a divorce, I began to think, it might not be as simple as I had thought; It may be that not each planet is one planet, one people but one planet many people. That is some planets may have all of their continents uni-fied, or some might have many continents each with their own space program and political philosophy. It may even be that some worlds are so old, and so evolved biologically, that such terms would be too primitive to even apply to them. It may even be that the interstellar community has intergalactic policies shared by all the space faring worlds that limits the contact they can make with another world by the level of their technological development. That may be why, perhaps, the craft of ETs that have visited here buzz around then disappear without stopping to say hi to the world, because as we have only ventured out into the solar sys-tem and not beyond it to the stars, that is the most they can do. It may be that not until we can go to other stars will we come to know them as a people. It may be we will find when we do enter space so deeply as to go to the stars, that we will then have to abide by the rules and regulations set down by intergalactic law that exists in the Universe for the starfaring peoples. Whatever the case, exopolitics is becoming much more complicated.

The Golden Ratio

After the Italian woman and I got married, we moved to Chino, California. She wanted to move to Alta Loma, or Rancho Cuca-monga, but we found the rent too high. Some 10 years or so before I met her, I had been taken into a mental institution with schizophrenia. In Chino, what happened to me having been taken in with the Gypsies in Spain, I found myself feeling as though I was a member of the tribe, but that I had to choose one of the Gypsies to be, and I wanted to be myself. I resolved the situation by stating in my mind, to people that I was a Gypsy. I later learned being a Gypsy was a common desire of most people, and some-thing they worked at doing, atleast in flamenco. There is a Gypsy Song in Spain: “Es las sangre que llevamos, es flamenco ser Gi-tano”. That translates as: “It is the blood that we carry, It is flamenco to be Gypsy.”

My wife and I moved to Claremont California, later and we would go to the college library to use the computers. It was there that I encountered the idea of The Golden Ratio for the first time. I said to myself, I finished Calculus in college but I have never heard of this. I couldn’t understand how that could have happened, but it resulted in an obsession with mathematics, because sud-denly everything I had learned before Calculus came together to me as a complete whole, and I set out to write it all out. Drawing in the diagonal of a rectangle we create two right triangles, that by symmetry are congruent. Each right triangle therefore occupies half the area, and from the above formula we conclude that the area of a right triangle is one half base times height:

We draw a regular hexagon, or any regular polygon, and draw in all of its radii, thus breaking it up into congruent triangles. Triangles

All polygons can be broken up into triangles. Because of that we can use triangles to determine the area of any polygon.

Theorems Branch 1

1. If in a triangle a line is drawn parallel to the base, then the lines on both sides of the line are proportional.

2. From (1) we can prove that: If two triangles are mutually equiangular, they are similar. 3. Trigonometry

When a line bisects another so as to form two equal angles on either side, the angles are called right angles. It is customary to di-vide a circle into 360 equal units called degrees, so that a right angle, one fourth of the way around a circle, is 90 degrees.The angle in radians is the intercepted arc of the circle, divided by its radius, from which we see that in the unit circle 360 degrees is 2(pi)radians, and we can relate degrees to radians as follows: Degrees/180 degrees=Radians/pi radians

An angle is merely the measure of separation between two lines that meet at a point.

The trigonometric functions are defined as follows:

The regular hexagon and pi

Tessellating equilateral triangles we find we can make a regular hexagon, which also tessellates. Making a regular hexagon like this we find two sides of an equilateral triangle make radii of the regular hexagon, and the remaining side of the equilateral trian-gle makes a side of the regular hexagon. All of the sides of an equilateral triangle being the same, we can conclude that the regular hexagon has its sides equal in length to its radii.

If we inscribe a regular hexagon in a circle, we notice its perimeter is nearly the same as that of the circle, and its radius is the same as that of the circle. If we consider a unit regular hexagon, that is, one with side lengths of one, then its perimeter is six, and its radius is one. Its diameter is therefore two, and six divided by two is three. This is close to the value of pi, clearly, by looking at a regular hexagon inscribed in a circle.

The sum of the angles in a polygon

Draw a polygon. It need not be regular and can have any number of sides. Draw in the radii. The sum of the angles at the center is four right angles, or 360 degrees. The sum of the angles of all the triangles formed by the sides of the polygon and the radii taken together are the number of sides, n, of the polygon times two right angles, or 180 degrees. The sum of the angles of the polygon are that of the triangles minus the angles at its center, or A, the sum of the angles of the polygon equals n(180 degrees)-360 de-grees, or

With a rectangular coordinate system you need only two numbers to specify a point, but with a triangular coordinate system --- three axes separated by 120 degrees -- you need three. However, a triangular coordinates system makes use of only 3 directions, whereas a rectangular one makes use of 4.

A rectangular coordinate system is optimal in that it can specify a point in the plane with the fewest numbers, and a triangular coor-dinate system is optimal in that it can specify a point in the plane with the fewest directions for its axes. Review

We began with nine-fifths is the yin of the Universe for which five-thirds was the yang. Not only were gold to silver (precious met-als) the yin, but potassium to sodium was the yang (salts). As well Neptune we showed was the yin planet for which Uranus was the Yang planet.

We found nine-fifths described the rotation of five symmetry petals around a flower, a most popular arrangement, and noted that while nine-fifths (yin) was the representative of the five-fold symmetry we find in life, five-thirds (yang) was representative of the six-fold symmetry we find in physical nature.

We let n=3 since the earth is the third planet from the sun, and found the third term a_n=17.6, was closest to the mass of Neptune in earth masses, hence the name for the equation.

We noted that since the equation shows the earth straddled between Venus, a failed earth, and mars, which promises to be New Earth, and we concluded that the planet Neptune has a key to the success of the earth.

We further felt we were on the right track because Neptune, though more massive than the Earth, it is larger enough that its sur-face gravity is about the same. Further indication that we were on the right track was noted in the fact that Neptune has a similar inclination to its orbit, as does the Earth.

It was only left to find the Uranus equation, because for every yin, there should be a yang.

We followed the same process as for arriving at the Neptune equation. We made the sequence of all whole number multiples of five-thirds:

(5/3)n = 1.7, 3.3, 5, 6.7,…

And started with 8 and added 5 to each additional term (skipping 3):

8, 13, 18, 23,…

We took the difference between the two sequences to obtain the Uranus equation:

Conclusion

We can outline clearly what has happened. I was a student at the University of Oregon studying physics and spanish. At that time I listened to the flamenco of Paco De Lucia. His music was really Manuel, The Gypsy Shaman in Gra-nada, reeling me into Spain. Once in Spain, Manuel reeled me into his cave through Antonio and Manolin. Once at his cave, Manuel put me under a spell that only activated when I returned to America. When the spell activated, Manuel reeled me into him.

I then returned to Spain a second time. Landing in Madrid, I never made it to Manuel’s cave; the spaniards derailed that plan, and assumed control of me, something I only figured they did when I returned to America.

In America I was on a Spanish path, Italy unhappy with it, intercepted me in America by way of a woman from there intercepting me, marrying me and taking me to Italy, putting me on another path.

But then my physics kicked in, and what I was learning was an elaborate plan orchestrated by an extraterrestrial intelli-gence, that second guessed all of what happened from the beginning, to derail the plans of Manuel, Spain, and Italy, but they set me free, and did not require me to live by any whim of theirs. Me following my own timeline, was good enough, they figured, for the overall process that is underway on Earth, and that involves extraterrestrials.

I wrote a short story last night, called Gypsy Shamanism and the Universe about the AE-35 unit, which is the unit in the movie and book 2001: A Space Odyssey that HAL reports will fail and discontinue communication to Earth. I de-cided to read the passage dealing with the event in 2001 and HAL, the ship computer, reports it will fail in within 72 hours. Strange, because Venus is the source of 7.2 in my Neptune equation and represents failure, where Mars repre-sents success.

It must have been 1989 or 1990 when I took a leave of absence from The University Of Oregon, studying Spanish, Physics, and working at the state observatory in Oregon -- Pine Mountain Observatory—to pursue flamenco in Spain.

The Moors, who carved caves into the hills for residence when they were building the Alhambra Castle on the hill fac-ing them, abandoned them before the Gypsies, or Roma, had arrived there in Granada Spain. The Gypsies were re-sourceful enough to stucco and tile the abandoned caves, and take them up for homes.

Living in one such cave owned by a gypsy shaman, was really not a down and out situation, as these homes had plumbing and gas cooking units that ran off bottles of propane. It was really comparable to living in a Native American adobe home in New Mexico.

Of course living in such a place came with responsibilities, and that included watering its gardens. The Shaman told me: “Water the flowers, and, when you are done, roll up the hose and put it in the cave, or it will get stolen”. I had stud-ied Castilian Spanish in college and as such a hose is “una manguera”, but the Shaman called it “una goma” and goma translates as rubber. Roll up the hose and put it away when you are done with it: good advice!

So, I water the flowers, rollup the hose and put it away. The Shaman comes to the cave the next day and tells me I didn’t roll up the hose and put it away, so it got stolen, and that I had to buy him a new one.

He comes by the cave a few days later, wakes me up asks me to accompany him out of The Sacromonte, to some place between there and the old Arabic city, Albaicin, to buy him a new hose.

It wasn’t a far walk at all, the equivalent of a few city blocks from the caves. We get to the store, which was a counter facing the street, not one that you could enter. He says to the man behind the counter, give me 5 meters of hose. The man behind the counter pulled off five meters of hose from the spindle, and cut the hose to that length. He stated a value in pesetas, maybe 800, or so, (about eight dollars at the time) and the Shaman told me to give that amount to the man behind the counter, who was Spanish. I paid the man, and we left.

I carried the hose, and the Shaman walked along side me until we arrived at his cave where I was staying. We en-tered the cave stopped at the walk way between living room and kitchen, and he said: “follow me”. We went through a tunnel that had about three chambers in the cave, and entered one on our right as we were heading in, and we stopped and before me was a collection of what I estimated to be fifteen rubber hoses sitting on ground. The Shaman told me to set the one I had just bought him on the floor with the others. I did, and we left the chamber, and he left the cave, and I retreated to a couch in the cave living room.

Chapter 2

Gypsies have a way of knowing things about a person, whether or not one discloses it to them in words, and The Sha-man was aware that I not only worked in Astronomy, but that my work in astronomy involved knowing and doing elec-tronics.

So, maybe a week or two after I had bought him a hose, he came to his cave where I was staying, and asked me if I would be able to install an antenna for television at an apartment where his nephew lived.

So this time I was not carrying a hose through The Sacromonte, but an antenna.

There were several of us on the patio, on a hill adjacent to the apartment of The Shaman’s Nephew, installing an an-tenna for television reception.

I am now in Southern California, at the house of my mother, it is late at night, she is a asleep, and I am about 24 years old and I decide to look out the window, east, across The Atlantic, to Spain. Immediately I see the Shaman, in his liv-ing room, where I had eaten a bowl of the Gypsy soup called Puchero, and I hear the word Antenna. I now realize when I installed the antenna, I had become one, and was receiving messages from the Shaman.

The Shaman’s Children were flamenco guitarists, and I learned from them, to play the guitar. I am now playing fla-menco, with instructions from the shaman to put the gypsy space program into my music. I realize I am not just any antenna, but the AE35 that malfunctioned aboard The Discovery just before it arrived at the planet Jupiter in Arthur C. Clarke’s and Stanley Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey”. The Shaman tells me, telepathically, that this time the mis-sion won’t fail.

Once one has tasted Spain, that person longs to return. I land in Madrid, Northern Spain, The Capitol. The Spaniards know my destination is Granada, Southern Spain, The Gypsy Neighborhood called The Sacromonte, the caves, and immediately recognize I am under the spell of a Gypsy Shaman, and what is more that I am The AE35 Antenna for The Gypsy Space Program. Flamenco being flamenco, the Spaniards do not undo the spell, but reprogram the in-structions for me, the AE35 Antenna, so that when I arrive back in the United States, my flamenco will now state their idea of a space program. It was of course, flamenco being flamenco, an attempt to out-do the Gypsy space program.

I am back in the United States and I am at the house of my mother, it is night time again, she is asleep, and I look out the window east, across the Atlantic, to Spain, and this time I do not see the living room of the gypsy shaman, but the streets of Madrid at night, and all the people, and the word Jupiter comes to mind and I am about to say of course, Ju-piter, and The Spanish interrupt and say “Yes, you are right it is the largest planet in the solar system, you are right to consider it, all else will flow from it.”

I know ratios, in mathematics are the most interesting subject, like pi, the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter, and the golden ratio, so I consider the ratio of the orbit of Saturn (the second largest planet in the solar sys-tem) to the orbit of Jupiter at their closest approaches to The Sun, and find it is nine-fifths (nine compared to five) which divided out is one point eight (1.8).

I then proceed to the next logical step: not ratios, but proportions. A ratio is this compared to that, but a proportion is this is to that as this is to that. So the question is: Saturn is to Jupiter as what is to what? Of course the answer is as Gold is to Silver. Gold is divine; silver is next down on the list. Of course one does not compare a dozen oranges to a half dozen apples, but a dozen of one to a dozen of the other, if one wants to extract any kind of meaning. But atoms of gold and silver are not measured in dozens, but in moles. So I compared a mole of gold to a mole of silver, and I said no way, it is nine-fifths, and Saturn is indeed to Jupiter as Gold is to Silver.

I said to myself: How far does this go? The Shaman’s son once told me he was in love with the moon. So I com-pared the radius of the sun, the distance from its center to its surface to the lunar orbital radius, the distance from the center of the earth to the center of the moon. It was Nine compared to Five again!

Chapter 7

I had found 9/5 was at the crux of the Universe, but for every yin there had to be a yang. Nine fifths was one and eight-tenths of the way around a circle. The one took you back to the beginning which left you with 8 tenths. Now go to eight tenths in the other direction, it is 72 degrees of the 360 degrees in a circle. That is the separation between petals on a five-petaled flower, a most popular arrangement. Indeed life is known to have five-fold symmetry, the physical, like snowflakes, six-fold. Do the algorithm of five-fold symmetry in reverse for six-fold symmetry, and you get the yang to the yin of nine-fifths is five-thirds.

Nine-fifths was in the elements gold to silver, Saturn to Jupiter, Sun to moon. Where was five-thirds? Salt of course. “The Salt Of The Earth” is that which is good, just read Shakespeare’s “King Lear”. Sodium is the metal component to table salt, Potassium is, aside from being an important fertilizer, the substitute for Sodium, as a metal component to make salt substitute. The molar mass of potassium to sodium is five to three, the yang to the yin of nine-fifths, which is gold to silver. But multiply yin with yang, that is nine-fifths with five-thirds, and you get 3, and the earth is the third planet from the sun.

I thought the crux of the universe must be the difference between nine-fifths and five-thirds. I subtracted the two and got two-fifteenths! Two compared to fifteen! I had bought the Shaman his fifteenth rubber hose, and after he made me into the AE35 Antenna one of his first transmissions to me was: “God Is An Idea: There Are Two Elements”.

It is so obvious, the most abundant gas in the Earth Atmosphere is Nitrogen, chemical symbol 15!

These are side notes to my book The Reason, which has the sequel The Reason: Moving On. In that book, since 9/5 was the ratio of Saturn orbit to Jupiter orbit in their closest approaches to the sun, while they are the largest and most massive planets in the so-lar system, mystically putting the earth at one unit from the sun, and further since 9 to 5 is the ratio of gold to silver in molar masses, and is the ratio of the solar radius to the lunar orbital radius, with the sun gold in color and the moon silver in color, and even further since 9 to 5 is 1.8 and I show 9 to 5 unifies pi with the golden ratio and pi with euler’s number e, we formed three equations:

To find the normal vector given by the Sagittarius Equation, and we found it points to Sagittarius, near the origin of The SETI Wow! Signal, the one signal that the Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence found that has the thumbprint of extraterrestrial ori-gins. However, the Sagittarius normal comes from the equation of a plane, not from the equation of the plane. We will see what I mean by that in this work. We will derive the equation of the plane and we find the normal vector is in the constellation Scutum. The only difference between the normal vector of Sagittarius and the normal vector of Scutum, is that the y-component of the Scu-tum vector is the y-component of the Sagittarius vector increased by a factor of two.

The constellation Scutum is in the Mexican Skies between Aquila and Ophiucus. When I worked at Pine Mountain Observatory, in Central Oregon, Professor Kemp, who ran the observatory took me to the edge of the hill where we could see low on the hori-zon at sunrise, Ophiucus rising, probably because he grew up in Mexico and this was an opportunity to get a rare glimpse of a Southern Hemisphere constellation he was familiar with as a child. Aquila is the Eagle and is an ancient constellation known as the Eagle before Christ. In Greek Mythology, it was the eagle attendant to Zeus, or Jupiter (Roman). Scutum is in a particularly rich area of the Milky Way, full of dense star clouds. It has the Scutum Star Cloud. In 2006, NASA discovered Scutum to be a powerful source of x-rays and gamma rays. They found it was due to one of the most massive star clusters in the galaxy, and was caused by an unusually high number of red supergiants which were going supernova, which is the tendency for this type of star to end it life. Finally, we find the unusual occurrence of 0.621 in doing the Scutum calculation that occurs in my prediction for hyper-drive and the McKenna timewave as the novelty rating for the year humans landed on the moon reduced by ten, I call it here The Levinson Number. In my paper Paul Levinson, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke Intertwined With An Astronomer’s Research, I make the mathematical prediction that “humans have a 70% chance of developing Hyperdrive in the year 2043” to word it as Paul Levinson worded it, and I point out that this is only a year after the character Sierra Waters is handed a newly discovered document that sets in motion the novel by Paul Levinson, “The Plot To Save Socrates”.

I now find that Isaac Asimov puts such a development in his science fiction at a similar time in the future, precisely in 2044, only a year after my prediction and two years after Sierra Waters is handed the newly discovered document that initiates her adventure. So, we have my prediction, which is related to the structure of the universe in a mystical way right in between the dates of Levin-son and Asimov, their dates only being a year less and a year greater than mine.

Asimov places hyperdrive in the year 2044 in his short story “Evidence” which is part of his science fiction collection of short sto-ries called, “I, Robot”.

This is a collection of short stories where Robot Psychologist Dr. Susan Calvin is interviewed by a writer about her experience with the company on earth in the future that first developed sophisticated robots. In this book, the laws of robotics are created and the idea of the positronic brain introduced, and the nature of the impact robots would have on human civilization is explored. Fol-lowing this collection of stories Asimov wrote three more novels, which comprise the robot series, “The Caves of Steel”, “The Naked Sun”, and “The Robots of Dawn”.

“I, Robot” is Earth in the future just before Humanity settles the more nearby stars. The novels comprising “The Robot Series” are when humanity has colonized the nearby star systems, The Foundation Trilogy, and its prequels and sequels are about the time hu-manity has spread throughout the entire galaxy and made an Empire of it. All of these books can be taken together as one story, with characters and events in some, occurring in others.

Hyperdrive is invented in I, Robot by a robot called The Brain, owned by the company for which Dr. Susan Calvin works when it is fed the mathematical logistical problems of making hyperdrive, and asked to solve them. It does solve them and it offers the specs on building an interstellar ship, for which two engineers follow in its construction. They are humorously sent across the gal-axy by The Brain, not expecting it, and brought back to earth in the ship after they constructed it. This was in the story in “I, Ro-bot” titled “Escape!”.

But Dr. Susan Calvin states in the following short story, that I mentioned, “Evidence”:

“But that wasn’t it, either”…”Oh, eventually, the ship and others like it became government property; the Jump through hyper-space was perfected, and now we actually have human colonies on the planets of some of the nearer stars, but that wasn’t it.”

“It was what happened to the people here on Earth in last fifty years that really counts.”

And, what happened to people on Earth? The answer is in the same story “Evidence” from which that quote is at the beginning. It was when the Regions of the Earth formed The Federation. Dr. Susan Calvin says at the end of the story “Evidence”:

“He was a very good mayor; five years later he did become Regional Co-ordinator. And when the Regions of Earth formed their Federation in 2044, he became the first World Co-ordinator.”

It is from that statement that I get my date of 2044 as the year Asimov projects for hyperdrive.

I watched a video on youtube about Terence McKenna where he lectured on his timewave zero theory. I found there was not an equation for his timewave zero graph but that a computer algorithm generated the graph of the wave. The next day I did a search on the internet to see if a person could download timewave software for free. As it turned out one could, for both Mac and pc. It is called “Timewave Calculator Version 1.0”. I downloaded the software and found you had to download it every time after you quit the application and that you could not save the graph of your results or print them out. So I did a one-time calculation. It works like this: you input the range of time over which you want see the timewave and you cannot calculate past 2012, because that is when the timewave ends. You also put in a target date, the time when you want to get a rating for the novelty of the event that oc-curred on that day. You can also click on any point in the graph to get the novelty rating for that time. I put in:

I was happy to see this because, I determined that the growth rate constant, k, that rate at which we progress towards hyperdrive, in my calculation in my work Asimovian Prediction For Hyperdrive, that gave the date 2043, a year after Sierra Waters was handed the newly discovered document that started her adventure in The Plot To Save Socrates, by Paul Levinson, and a year be-fore Isaac Asimov had placed the invention of hyperdrive in his book I, Robot, was:

In the case of Isaac Asimov, we are far in the future of humanity. In his Robot Series, Asimov has man making robots whose pro-gramming only allows them to do that which is good for humanity. As a result, these robots, artificial intelligence (AI), take ac-tions that propel humanity into settling the Galaxy, in the robot series, and ultimately save humanity after they have settled the Gal-axy and made an empire of it (In the Foundation Series).

In the case of Paul Levinson, scholars in the future travel through time and use cloning, a concept related to artificial intelligence (it is the creating of human replicas as well, but biological, not electronic), and the goal is to save great ancient thinkers from Greece, and to manipulate events in the past for a positive outcome for the future of humanity, just as the robots try to do in the work of Asimov.

In the case of Arthur C. Clarke, man undergoes a transformation due to a monolith placed on the moon and earth by extraterrestri-als who have created life on earth. The monolith is a computer. It takes humans on a voyage to other planets in the solar system, and in their trials, humanity goes through trials that result in a transformation for the ending of their dependence on their technol-ogy and for becoming adapted to life in the Universe beyond Earth. That is, the character Dave Bowman becomes the Starchild in his mission to Jupiter. The artificial intelligence is the ship computer called HAL.

So, the thread is the salvation of man through technology, and their transformation to a new human paradigm, where they can end their dependence on Earth and adapt to the nature of the Universe as a whole.

At the time I was reading these novels, I was doing astronomical research, and, to my utter astonishment, my relationships I was discovering pertaining to the Universe were turning up times and values pivotal to these works of Levinson, Asimov, and Clarke. Further, I was interpreting much of my discoveries by developing them in the context of short fictional stories.

It is a curious thing that the Earth is the third planet from the Sun and the third brightest star in the sky is the closest to us and very similar to the sun in a galaxy of a rich variety of stars. This closest star to us is a triple system known as Alpha Centauri A, B, and Proxima Centauri. Alpha Centauri A is, like our Sun a main sequence spectral type G star. Precisely, G2 V, just as is the Sun. Its physical characteristics are very close to those of the Sun: 1.10 solar masses, 1.07 solar diameters, and 1.5 solar luminosities. It is absolute magnitude +4.3. The absolute magnitude of the Sun is +4.83.

If ever the option existed for humans to travel to the stars, this situation speaks of it, whether or not Alpha Centauri has an earth-like planet in its habitable zone.

It has been said that the base ten place significant system of writing numbers stems from the fact we have ten fingers to count on. In so far as science can save us, it can destroy us in that science is not dangerous, but humans can be.

Traveling to the planets is possible with chemical fuel rockets, but traveling to the stars is another story, because of their immense distances from us, and from one another.

What are the odds that our development in technologies will take us to the stars before we destroy ourselves first? In other words, what are the intrinsic odds for humankind to develop the hyperdrive before without bringing about its own end first?

We do a random walk to Alpha Centauri of 10 one light year jumps. We make 10 equal steps randomly of one light year each, equal steps that if all are towards Alpha Centauri we will land beyond it. If 10 are away from it, we are as far from it as can be. And, if 5 are towards it, and five are away from it, we have gone nowhere.

In this allegory we calculate the probability of landing on Alpha Centauri, in 10 random leaps of a light year each, a light year be-ing the distance light travels in the time it takes the earth to make one revolution around the sun, light speed a natural constant.

I have pointed out that 0.0621 = k the growth rate constant towards hyperdrive in my paper, The Levinson,-Asmov-Clarke Phe-nomenon. I have pointed out that in McKenna time wave theory 0.0621 is is the novelty rating for 1969, the year man landed on the moon. Our counting system is base 10, it has been said probably because we have ten fingers. If we multiply 0.0621 by 10, that is increase it by a factor of ten, we get 0.621. If we round that to two places after the decimal, it is 0.62. Let us consider the golden ratio conjugate. The golden ratio occurs throughout nature. It is in the rotation from leaf to leaf around the stem of a plant, for example. The golden ratio conjugate is just the inverse of the golden ratio. It is simply the separation between leaves around the stem of a plant, going in the other direction. It is equal to 0.618 to three places after the decimal. Let us round that to two places after the decimal. The eight rounds the one to two. The golden ratio conjugate is then 0.62 rounded to two places after the decimal. That is the same value as k increased by a factor of 10, and the same value as the novelty rating for 1969 increased by a factor of ten. I find that interesting.

The trick to using this equation is in knowing the possible combinations of steps that can be made that equal 10. Like five right, five left with a displacement of 0 or, 10 right, 0 left with a displacement of 10 or, 7 left, 3 right with a displacement of negative 4.

To land at 4 light years from earth, with 10 one light year jumps, one must go away from Alpha Centauri 3 jumps of a light year each then 7 jumps toward it of one light year each, to land on it, that is to land at +4, its location. Having calculated that we are 12% along in developing the hyperdrive, we can use the equation for natural growth to estimate when we will have hyperdrive. It is of the form:

Clearing a few things up about The Reason, The Reason: Moving On, and Sidenotes For The Reason

For the Sagittarius vector, we took the parameter, t, to be zero.  For the Scutum vector, we used the same three equa-tions, Neptune, Uranus, Earth, to make an equation of the plane, but we did not set t = 0, but rather eliminated t.  How-ever we reflected the declination about the equator by saying it was negative 10 degrees instead of 10 degrees.  If you leave it as ten degrees, the vector points to an open cluster in Aquila, NGC 6738.  When we derived the Pegasus vec-tor, we switched the x coordinate with the y coordinate, essentially reorienting the coordinate system.  The conven-tional use of  

a coordinated system comes from random definition anyway, so we don’t know which an extraterrestrial wants us to use.

Honing In On The AE-35

My search for what the essence of the AE-35 antenna is, that concept wherein a Gypsy shaman made me telepathic with him, has finally been realized:  I actually knew two Manuel’s, not just two by the same name, but identical in spirit, and diametric opposites in personality; one a shaman at one end of the Sacromonte, the other at the other end of the Sacromonte.  Never did I know them to be at the same place at the same time, or even to be aware one of the other.  It in fact could be it is one person who can be at two different places at once.  What we are dealing with here, in terms of physics, is quantum teleportation, or quantum entanglement:  It is stated a particle can instantaneously exist in an-other place, and whether the teleported particle actually jumped from one place to another instantaneously or one par-ticle vanished with a separate, or  identical one, being reborn in another place makes no difference.  Also it is entangle-ment: Two particles collide setting up initial conditions, as they travel apart each behaves according to the state of the other suggesting instantaneous communication between them over distance even though this violates the cosmic speed limit of the speed of light. Luckily, there is some indication that Manuel will be giving a lecture, In Spain, about the AE-35 Antenna.  It is my hope that it will be on youtube.

Building The Antenna

I have said around 1990 that Manuel had me help him install an antenna for television reception at his nephew’s house in the Sac-romonte (Gypsy Caves). In the act of doing this I became telepathic with him. We call it the AE-35 antenna from 2001: A Space Odyssey. However the extraterrestrials undermined the spell in a plan that was initiated even before I knew Manuel. In 1977 they sent a transmission from the direction of the constellation Sagittarius that was received by the Search For Extraterrestial Intelli-gence (SETI). It was The Gypsy Shamanism of Manuel that lead me to the discovery that the signal should repeat itself on August 15, 2015. This gave me the idea of building a radio telescope, essentially an antenna not unlike the one I helped Manuel install, so I could receive the predicted message. It is July 05, 2014 now. This gives me a little over a year to build the Antenna, mount it and put in a tracking drive, and to interface it with my computer, as well as find software that will process the signal. The act of building this antenna should not subvert Manuel’s spell, but alter its agenda so that Manuel, I, and the extraterrestrials are all work-ing together telepathically with a new proposed agenda, my guess rooted in the concept of welcoming humanity into the stellar community. I have a toolbox with electrical components and electronics tools that I have put together over the years to further my education in electronics, if not to find work in electrical engineering.

AE-35

I wrote a short story last night, called Gypsy Shamanism and the Universe about the AE-35 unit, which is the unit in the movie and book 2001: A Space Odyssey that HAL reports will fail and discontinue communication to Earth. I de-cided to read the passage dealing with the event in 2001 and HAL, the ship computer, reports it will fail in within 72 hours. Strange, because Venus is the source of 7.2 in my Neptune equation and represents failure, where Mars repre-sents success.

It must have been 1989 or 1990 when I took a leave of absence from The University Of Oregon, studying Spanish, Physics, and working at the state observatory in Oregon -- Pine Mountain Observatory—to pursue flamenco in Spain.

The Moors, who carved caves into the hills for residence when they were building the Alhambra Castle on the hill fac-ing them, abandoned them before the Gypsies, or Roma, had arrived there in Granada Spain. The Gypsies were re-sourceful enough to stucco and tile the abandoned caves, and take them up for homes.

Living in one such cave owned by a gypsy shaman, was really not a down and out situation, as these homes had plumbing and gas cooking units that ran off bottles of propane. It was really comparable to living in a Native American adobe home in New Mexico.

Of course living in such a place came with responsibilities, and that included watering its gardens. The Shaman told me: “Water the flowers, and, when you are done, roll up the hose and put it in the cave, or it will get stolen”. I had stud-ied Castilian Spanish in college and as such a hose is “una manguera”, but the Shaman called it “una goma” and goma translates as rubber. Roll up the hose and put it away when you are done with it: good advice!

So, I water the flowers, rollup the hose and put it away. The Shaman comes to the cave the next day and tells me I didn’t roll up the hose and put it away, so it got stolen, and that I had to buy him a new one.

He comes by the cave a few days later, wakes me up asks me to accompany him out of The Sacromonte, to some place between there and the old Arabic city, Albaicin, to buy him a new hose.

It wasn’t a far walk at all, the equivalent of a few city blocks from the caves. We get to the store, which was a counter facing the street, not one that you could enter. He says to the man behind the counter, give me 5 meters of hose. The man behind the counter pulled off five meters of hose from the spindle, and cut the hose to that length. He stated a value in pesetas, maybe 800, or so, (about eight dollars at the time) and the Shaman told me to give that amount to the man behind the counter, who was Spanish. I paid the man, and we left.

I carried the hose, and the Shaman walked along side me until we arrived at his cave where I was staying. We en-tered the cave stopped at the walk way between living room and kitchen, and he said: “follow me”. We went through a tunnel that had about three chambers in the cave, and entered one on our right as we were heading in, and we stopped and before me was a collection of what I estimated to be fifteen rubber hoses sitting on ground. The Shaman told me to set the one I had just bought him on the floor with the others. I did, and we left the chamber, and he left the cave, and I retreated to a couch in the cave living room.

Chapter 2

Gypsies have a way of knowing things about a person, whether or not one discloses it to them in words, and The Sha-man was aware that I not only worked in Astronomy, but that my work in astronomy involved knowing and doing elec-tronics.

So, maybe a week or two after I had bought him a hose, he came to his cave where I was staying, and asked me if I would be able to install an antenna for television at an apartment where his nephew lived.

So this time I was not carrying a hose through The Sacromonte, but an antenna.

There were several of us on the patio, on a hill adjacent to the apartment of The Shaman’s Nephew, installing an an-tenna for television reception.

I am now in Southern California, at the house of my mother, it is late at night, she is a asleep, and I am about 24 years old and I decide to look out the window, east, across The Atlantic, to Spain. Immediately I see the Shaman, in his liv-ing room, where I had eaten a bowl of the Gypsy soup called Puchero, and I hear the word Antenna. I now realize when I installed the antenna, I had become one, and was receiving messages from the Shaman.

The Shaman’s Children were flamenco guitarists, and I learned from them, to play the guitar. I am now playing fla-menco, with instructions from the shaman to put the gypsy space program into my music. I realize I am not just any antenna, but the AE35 that malfunctioned aboard The Discovery just before it arrived at the planet Jupiter in Arthur C. Clarke’s and Stanley Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey”. The Shaman tells me, telepathically, that this time the mis-sion won’t fail.

Once one has tasted Spain, that person longs to return. I land in Madrid, Northern Spain, The Capitol. The Spaniards know my destination is Granada, Southern Spain, The Gypsy Neighborhood called The Sacromonte, the caves, and immediately recognize I am under the spell of a Gypsy Shaman, and what is more that I am The AE35 Antenna for The Gypsy Space Program. Flamenco being flamenco, the Spaniards do not undo the spell, but reprogram the in-structions for me, the AE35 Antenna, so that when I arrive back in the United States, my flamenco will now state their idea of a space program. It was of course, flamenco being flamenco, an attempt to out-do the Gypsy space program.

Chapter 6

I am back in the United States and I am at the house of my mother, it is night time again, she is asleep, and I look out the window east, across the Atlantic, to Spain, and this time I do not see the living room of the gypsy shaman, but the streets of Madrid at night, and all the people, and the word Jupiter comes to mind and I am about to say of course, Ju-piter, and The Spanish interrupt and say “Yes, you are right it is the largest planet in the solar system, you are right to consider it, all else will flow from it.”

I know ratios, in mathematics are the most interesting subject, like pi, the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter, and the golden ratio, so I consider the ratio of the orbit of Saturn (the second largest planet in the solar sys-tem) to the orbit of Jupiter at their closest approaches to The Sun, and find it is nine-fifths (nine compared to five) which divided out is one point eight (1.8).

I then proceed to the next logical step: not ratios, but proportions. A ratio is this compared to that, but a proportion is this is to that as this is to that. So the question is: Saturn is to Jupiter as what is to what? Of course the answer is as Gold is to Silver. Gold is divine; silver is next down on the list. Of course one does not compare a dozen oranges to a half dozen apples, but a dozen of one to a dozen of the other, if one wants to extract any kind of meaning. But atoms of gold and silver are not measured in dozens, but in moles. So I compared a mole of gold to a mole of silver, and I said no way, it is nine-fifths, and Saturn is indeed to Jupiter as Gold is to Silver.

I said to myself: How far does this go? The Shaman’s son once told me he was in love with the moon. So I com-pared the radius of the sun, the distance from its center to its surface to the lunar orbital radius, the distance from the center of the earth to the center of the moon. It was Nine compared to Five again!

Chapter 7

I had found 9/5 was at the crux of the Universe, but for every yin there had to be a yang. Nine fifths was one and eight-tenths of the way around a circle. The one took you back to the beginning which left you with 8 tenths. Now go to eight tenths in the other direction, it is 72 degrees of the 360 degrees in a circle. That is the separation between petals on a five-petaled flower, a most popular arrangement. Indeed life is known to have five-fold symmetry, the physical, like snowflakes, six-fold. Do the algorithm of five-fold symmetry in reverse for six-fold symmetry, and you get the yang to the yin of nine-fifths is five-thirds.

Nine-fifths was in the elements gold to silver, Saturn to Jupiter, Sun to moon. Where was five-thirds? Salt of course. “The Salt Of The Earth” is that which is good, just read Shakespeare’s “King Lear”. Sodium is the metal component to table salt, Potassium is, aside from being an important fertilizer, the substitute for Sodium, as a metal component to make salt substitute. The molar mass of potassium to sodium is five to three, the yang to the yin of nine-fifths, which is gold to silver. But multiply yin with yang, that is nine-fifths with five-thirds, and you get 3, and the earth is the third planet from the sun.

I thought the crux of the universe must be the difference between nine-fifths and five-thirds. I subtracted the two and got two-fifteenths! Two compared to fifteen! I had bought the Shaman his fifteenth rubber hose, and after he made me into the AE35 Antenna one of his first transmissions to me was: “God Is An Idea: There Are Two Elements”.

It is so obvious, the most abundant gas in the Earth Atmosphere is Nitrogen, chemical symbol 15!

The a_n is the nth term of the sequence, n is the number of the term in the sequence.

This we notice can be written:

[(Venus-orbit)/(Earth-orbit)][(Earth-mass)/(Mars-mass)]n – (Mars orbital #) = a_n

We have an equation for a sequence that shows the Earth straddled between Venus and Mars. Venus is a failed Earth. Mars promises to be New Earth.

The Mars orbital number is 4. If we want to know what planet in the solar system holds the key to the success of Earth, or to the success of humans, we let n =3 since the Earth is the third planet out from the Sun, in the equation and the result is a_n = 17.6. This means the planet that holds the key is Neptune. It has a mass of 17.23 earth masses, a number very close to our 17.6.

Not only is Neptune the indicated planet, we find it has nearly the same surface gravity as earth and nearly the same inclination to its orbit as earth. Though it is much more massive than earth, it is much larger and therefore less dense. That was why it comes out to have the same surface gravity.

Chapter 14: The Uranus Equation

I asked what needs to be done to solve My Neptune Equation, by going deep with the guitar in Solea Por Buleras. I found the answer was that I didn’t have enough information to solve it.

Then I realized I could create the complement of the Neptune equation by looking at the Yang of 5/3, since the Nep-tune equation came from the Yin of 9/5.

We use the same method as for the Neptune equation:

Start with 8 and add 5 to each additional term (we throw a twist by not starting with 5)

5/3 => 8, 13, 18, 23,…

List the numbers that are whole number multiples of 5/3:

5/3n = 1.7, 3.3, 5, 6.7,…

Subtract respective terms in the second sequence from those in the first:

6.3, 9.7, 13, 16.3,…

This is an arithmetic sequence with common difference 3.3. It can be written:

(a_n) = 3 + 3.3n

This can be wrttten:

Earth Orbital # + (Jupiter Mass/Saturn Mass)n = a_n

Letting n = 3 we find a_n = 13

The closest to this is the mass of Uranus, which is 14.54 earth masses. If Neptune is the Yin planet, then Uranus is the Yang planet. This is interesting because I had found that Uranus and Neptune were different manifestations of the same thing. I had written:

I calculate that though Neptune is more massive than Uranus, its volume is less such that their products are close to equivalent. In math:

Chapter 15: The Earth Equation

We then sought the Yang of six-fold symmetry because it is typical to physical nature, like snowflakes. We said it was 5/3 since it represents the 120 degree measure of angles in a regular hexagon and we built our universe from there, resulting in the Uranus Integral, which was quite fruitful. Let us, however, think of Yang not as 5/3, but look at the an-gles between radii of a regular hexagon. We have:

360 – 60 = 300

300 + 360 = 660

660/360 = 11/6

We say Yin is 9/5 and Yang is 11/6 and stick with The Gypsy Shaman’s 15 (See An Extraterrestrial Analysis, chapter titled “Gypsy Shamanism And The Universe”) and build our Cosmology from there.

I have talked about how 9/5, which I have found exists in Nature and the Universe, unifies pi and the golden ratio (phi):

Intentionally Convoluted Writing Style

We have civilization being born independently and separately in Egypt and Mesopotamia with agriculture. Eventually, Rome con-quers parts of Egypt and becomes Italian, and Spain, being European, but close to Africa, has Arabs entering it. One could say Mesopotamia was Semitic and so we have their influence on Spain, which was Celtic, making it the gateway of the Renaissance. When the rest of Europe was in the Dark Ages, Spain was having its Renaissance. Italy, which was Celtic, has a Renaissance from the Egyptian influence. Is it any wonder that the Spanish Queen funds the Italian Columbus to find a western route to India based on the idea that the world was round, as the Ancient Greeks held that preceded them? He discovers America instead.

Nature Of The AE-35

It is my belief that Manuel’s idea of the AE-35 antenna, was a brief flicker of a thought that Manuel never carried much further than what I laid out in my book, The Reason. However, it is my belief that extraterrestrials realized his notion of it was capable of much more profundity than he ever intended for it, just as I have. It is also my belief that extraterrestrials have realized its full potential and that if I want to learn what it is, I shouldn’t look to Manuel, but rather to the extraterrestrials, who I believe have bur-ied its full potential deep into the human story that has been unfolding since I first met Manuel about 25 years ago. In my AE-35 journal, I wrote a little more about the AE-35 than can be found in my book, The Reason. I wrote:

AE-35 Intro

It all started when Manuel, the Gypsy Shaman, made me into the AE-35 antenna, by having me help him install an antenna for tele-vision reception at his Nephew’s in the Gypsy Caves Of Granada, The Sacromonte, Spain. I call it the AE-35 Antenna because that is the antenna for the spaceship Discovery in 2001: A Space Odyssey that keeps the astronauts in contact with Earth in their mission to Jupiter. Through the AE-35, Manuel put me in telepathic communication with him across the Atlantic. Since Jupiter is 5 units from the Sun at its closest approach, is the largest most massive planet in the solar system, and Saturn is the second largest planet in the solar system and is 9 units from the sun at its closest approach, mystically putting the Earth at one unit from the Sun, I consider the ratio of 9 to 5. It turns out to be the ratio of gold to silver in molar masses, and the ratio of the solar radius to the lunar orbital radius, and the sun is gold in color, the moon silver. Further more, the mission of Discovery was to Jupiter in 2001 the movie, but was to Saturn in 2001, the book. Nine to five is one point eight. If you multiply it by four, and Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun and the best candidate to colonize, you get 7.2,... The AE-35 antenna in 2001 was reported by ship computer HAL to fail within 72 hours and Venus is a failed earth and is 0.72 astronomical units from the sun. As well the precession of the Earth’s equinoxes is one degree per 72 years.

I am back in California and spending the solstice with family. My two brothers and their kids go for a walk and find an abandoned tripod. Knowing I have worked in astronomy, they bring it home figuring I could use it. Later, after discovering how the AE-35 antenna that is my nickname for the satellite antenna I helped Manuel install, is connected to the AE-35 of 2001, I discover from the 9/5 connection that 9/5 unifies pi and golden ratio and pi and euler’s number, and that it results in a set of equations that points to the constellation Sagittarius and SETI, the search for extraterrestrial intelligence received a sigal from Sagittarius in 1977 that lasted 72 seconds. It was the same 72 of the 72 hours before the AE-35 antenna would fail aboard Discovery in the movie 2001, and the same 72 of the 0.72 astronomical units of the failed Earth, Venus, from the Sun.

From the above information, I theorize the SETI signal will repeat itself on August 15, 2015. I decide to build a radio telescope to detect the signal. Since I need a dish I ask my brother if he has one that he is throwing away. He says he has had one sitting on his roof for 10 years that he never uses. It is just like the dish I helped Manuel install in Spain. Since I needed a tripod on which to mount it I retrieve the tripod my brother’s kids found and find the dish mounts on it perfectly. I later look up tripods on the internet and find the one I have was made precisely for the kind of dish I had. I survey the backyard for a place from which to op-erate my radio telescope, and find the the only open window to the sky is looking right at Sagittarius, which is a summer constella-tion. I also find that is also the only place I have an electrical outlet to power the telescope. Here begins my radio telescope jour-nal.

We show how Artificial Intelligence (AI) would have inherent in it, if it is silicon based, the golden ratio conjugate, which could imply that it was meant to happen all along through some unascertainable Natural Force, because, the golden ratio conjugate is found throughout life.

Back in 2005, as I did my research, I developed a different convention for rounding numbers than we use. I felt I only wanted to use the first two digits after the decimal in processing data using molar masses of the elements. This I did, unless a fourth digit less than five followed the third digit in my calculations, then, I would use the first three digits for greater accuracy. Now I am taking the introductory class in computer science at Harvard, online, CS50x. Work-ing in binary, where all numbers are base two, I see that it was no wonder I got the results I did, on the first try when I wondered if the golden ratio conjugate, 0.618 to three places after the decimal would be in artificial intelligence (AI) since it is recurrent throughout life.

I was taking polarimetric data on the eclipsing binary Epsilon Aurigae at Pine Mountain Obser-vatory in the 1980’s, for which there was a paper in the Astrophysical Journal upon which my name appears as coauthor, while studying physics at The University of Oregon. As well I was studying Spanish, and in an independent study project through the Spanish Department, I left the University to live of among the caves of the Gypsies of Granada, Spain. In doing as such, I disappeared from the entire world, only to return from another kind of life finding the world was now a much different place. Around 2005, I enrolled in chemistry at Citrus College in Southern California, when I did the following:

If the golden ratio conjugate is to be found in Artificial Intelligence, it should be in silicon, phosphorus, and boron, since doping silicon with phosphorus and boron makes transistors.

We take the geometric mean between phosphorus (P) and Boron (B), then divide by silicon (Si), then take the harmonic mean between phosphorus and boron divided by silicon:

Arithmetic mean of these two numbers: (0.65 + 0.57)/2 = 0.61

0.61 is the first two digits of the golden ratio conjugate.

Now the golden ratio conjugate is in the ratio of a persons height and the length from foot too navel, and is in all of ratios between joints in the fingers, not to mention that it serves in clos-est packing in the arrangement of leaves around a stem to provide maximum exposure to sun and water for the plant. Here we see that the golden ratio is not in artificial intelligence which is 0.62 to two places after the decimal, but that the numbers in its value are in artificial intelli-gence 0.61, which is 0.618 to three places after the decimal. That is, if we consider the first two digits in the ratio. If we consider the golden ratio conjugate to one place after the deci-mal, which is 0.6, then we say artificial intelligence does have the golden ratio in its transis-tors. I like to think of I, Robot by Isaac Asimov, where in one of that collection of his short sto-ries, robots are not content with what they are, and need more: an explanation of their origins. They can’t believe that they are from humans, since they insist humans are inferior. Or, I like to think of the ship computer HAL in 2001, he mimics intelligence, but we don’t know if he is really alive. Perhaps that is why to two place after the decimal, AI carries the digits, but is not the value.

In any case, I have written a program called Discover that would enable one to process arith-metic, harmonic, and geometric means for elements or whatever, because someone, including myself, might want to see if there are any more nuances hidden out there in nature. I have al-ready found something that seems to indicate extraterrestrials left their thumbprint in our physics. I even find indication for the origin of a message that would seem they embedded in our physics. That origin comes out to be the same place as the source of the SETI Wow! Sig-nal, Sagittarius. The Wow! Signal was found in the Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence and a possible transmission from ETs. But that is another subject that is treated in my book: All That Can Be Said.

Chapter 2: Contact

I have said, since my theory suggest extraterrestrials gave us our units of measurement, that extraterrestrials might have given us our variables used in physics and math, like the unit vec-tors (i, j, k). I have already found a pattern and posted it. However, I was doing my CS50x computer science homework and trying to write a program for Caesar’s Cipher. I wrote a small program and decided to test it. If you write a program and test it, standard input is “hello”. I put in hello and to test, ran the program for rotating characters by 1, and 2, and 3, as they are the first integers and the easiest with which to test your program. The result was the “h” on “hello”, came out to be (i, j, k). In other words you get that (i, j, k) is a hello from aliens in accordance with my earlier theories. If this is not real contact with extraterrestrials, it is great content for a Sci-Fi movie about contact with extraterrestrials. Here is the program I wrote, and the result of running it:

Just as we found our units of measurement, what they evolved into being and how we defined them, are centered around the triad of 9/5, 5/3, and 15, we might ask are our common usage of variables connected to Nature and the Universe as well. In pursuing such a question we look at:

Historical Development Of Computer Science Connecting It To Extraterrestrials

We have stated that at the basis of mathematics is (Discover, Contact, and Climate by Ian Beard-sley):

We have found with standard input, “hello”, rotating by the simplest values 1, 2, 3, in the oldest of ci-phers, caesar’s cipher, h becomes:

and we have taken it as a “hello” from extraterrestrials. How could they have influenced the develop-ment of our variables like the unit vectors, (i, j, k) and make them coincide with our computer sci-ence? To approach this question, we look at the historical development of our computer science.

We begin with, why is (a, b, c) represented by (97, 98, 99) in ascii computer code? Our system devel-oped historically in binary. Zero is a bit and one is a bit. The characters on the keyboard are de-scribed by a byte, which is eight bits. That makes possible 2^8 = 256 codes available in the eight bit system.

Characters 0-31 are the unprintable control codes used to control peripherals. Characters 32-127 are printable characters. Capital A to capital Z are codes 65-90 because codes 32-64 are taken up by characters such as exclamation, comma, period, space, and so on. This puts lower case a to lower case z at codes 97-122. So we see the historical development of the ascii codes are centered around the number of characters we have on a keyboard and the way they are organized on it, and on the number of codes available.

The way it works is we first allowed the unprintable characters to take up the lowest values, then we let the other symbols other than the letters such as, commas, spaces, periods, take up the next set of values, then we let the remaining values represent the letters of the alphabet starting with the upper-case letters followed by the lowercase letters. That is how we got the values we got for (a, b, c) which we surmise is connected to a “hello” from extraterrestrials.

We Are Fortuitous Artificial Intelligence

Humans are machines, like computers. A computer is run by code, which are functions determined by the sequences of switches that are on and off. Just as a scanf function takes a value from user and gives it to the computer, a human has a like function that is run by several functions that given input, like music, if it resonates with those functions, the like function is activated because the music satisfies what we could call the ultimate function, or executive function, which is the survival function. The survival function is our deepest self. It is no wonder that all functions are subject to the survival function, because survival is what we were programmed for, it guides our evolution. It can be said that when we like music, it is because it has an idea that the machine interprets as good for its sur-vival. There is no programmer, the machine’s existence came about fortuitously. At the core of its be-ing is the survival function.

Acknowledge Enquiry

The ASCII codes are the values for the keys on the keyboard of your computer. Since there are 365 days in a year and the Earth is the third planet from the sun, we look at the numbers three, six, and five.

Three represents the symbol ETX which means “End Of Text”.

But we will take the ET to stand for Extraterrestrial, and the X to stand for origin unknown.

Six represents the symbol ACK and it means “Acknowledge”.

Five represents the symbol ENQ and means “Enquiry”.

As you know, I have put standard input of “hello” into my program for Caesars Cipher and rotated the first letter, h, by the simplest values 1, 2, 3 to get the unit vector (i, j, k) which I have suggested that along with (a, b, c) and (x, y, z) are at the basis of mathematics.

Therefore I guess that after the extraterrestrial said “hello”, that he has followed up withI am ET-X, please acknowledge the enquiry.

Now how can an ET communicate with humans through the structure of our computer science unless it was Ets that influenced its development, and, how do I “acknowledge enquiry”?

Once we know the numeric values for the letters of the alphabet, like a is one, b is two, c is three,… and so on, it is easy to trace how they required their values in ascii computer code. We know that his-tory well. As for the letters of the alphabet, if you are the historian H.G. Wells you can trace them back to Ancient Egypt, but the history is quite foggy. First the Egyptians had for instance the image of the sea, and it might make the sound of C, and as the hieroglyphic moved west and changed its shape for as he says, ease of brushstroke, it took the form C. Reaching ancient Greece we have an assortment of symbols that have sounds, and, again, as Wells says, they add the vowels. It be-comes the basis for our alphabet in the English language. We could look at the evolution of com-puter science throughout the world, but so far our study, that seems to connect its evolution to some kind of a natural force or, extraterrestrials, has been rooted mostly in the United States.

Essentially we have the unit vector i, j, k which comes from the way humans constructed their mathe-matical system. It has not connection with extraterrestrials. We also have caesar’s cipher in com-puter science and the the word hello, whose development had nothing to do with extraterrestrials. Yet i, j, k is a hello from extraterrestrials if we apply caesar’s cipher for standard input, the key of 1, ,2 , 3. What we are saying is that two things are connected even if they aren’t. Can this happen? Yes, consider the source code int k = atoi(argv[1]). argv[1] is an integer provided by the user in the com-mand line. Yet it is not an integer, if it is 1, or 2, or 3, it is a character with no value, a graphic shape. But if we apply to it the atoi function, the value that that shape has is given to the computer as an inte-ger, int k. We map a shape into a value, int k.

Example of how this happens in every day life. I notice my light bulb is flickering, then I film it in case it is due to a ghost to record a paranormal phenomenon. In reality, there is no ghost, but the light bulb is shorting out. However, right when I am done filming someone calls me and says they can’t find their beer. Perhaps a ghost took it. We have something fake, argv[1] mapped into reality by atoi to get something real, int k. This, I think, is another way of looking at synchronicity. Instead of saying there are no such things as coincidences, and there is a ghost present, we say non-reality is reality, even if it isn’t, because it is.

Further Connection In AI

We have said that the three sets of characters (a, b, c), (i, j, k), (x, y, z) are at the basis of mathemat-ics and that applying them to caesar’s cipher we find they are intimately connected with artificial intelli-gence and computer science. Chapter 3: Climate

I have developed a Gypsy Cosmology based around the three numbers 9/5, 5/3. and 15. The number 15 came to me by way of a Gypsy Shaman called Manuel. Now I have found a connec-tion to the earth climate. Let me first briefly discuss some of the findings, then I will present the connection to climate, then I will present one page that goes into some of the deeper ele-ments concerning the Gypsy Cosmology.

When we say nine-fifths is in the molar mass of gold to the molar mass of silver and in the so-lar radius to the earth-moon separation, we might want to point out that it is appropriate be-cause the sun is gold in color and the moon is silver in color.

I now further go on to say that this nine-fifths unifies the two most important ratios in mathe-matics pi and the golden ratio (phi), in that

pi + phi = 3.141 + 1.618 = 4.759

Because the numbers after the decimal in the sum (the important part) are 5 and 9 and 7, the average of 5 and nine.It would seem 9/5 unifies euler’s number, e, and pi, as well:

(pi) + (e) = 3.141 + 2.718 = 5.859

The second number after the decimal is the 5 in nine-fifths, and the third number after the deci-mal is the 9 in nine-fifths. The first number after the decimal is eight. This is significant be-cause the 8 is the 8 in 1.8, which is 9/5 divided out. The one will take you all the way around a circle, what is left is 0.8.

Once you realize nine-fifths is not just at the crux of Gold and Silver, Pi and the Golden Ratio, Pi and Euler’s Number e, the five-fold symmetry that is typical of life, Jupiter and Saturn, Sun and Moon, it is not long before you realize its compliment is 5/3 and that you form the se-quences:

Notice the 0.07925 has the nine and five of nine-fifths, the average of nine-fifths and the 2 used to make it.

Mach 1 = 768 mph =1,235 km/hour

That is mach 1 in dry air at 20 degrees C (68 degrees F) at sea level, using the standard use of room temp.

If we write, where 1,235 km/hr (mach 1) = 0.343 km/s, then:

Chapter 4: The Question

A Scientist had built a robot in the image of humans and downloaded to it all of human knowl-edge, then put forward the question to our robot, what is the best we, humanity, can do to sur-vive with an earth of limited resources and a situation where other worlds like earth, if they ex-ist, would take generations to reach.

The robot began his answer, “I contend that the series of events that unfolded on earth over the years since the heliacal rising of Sirius four cycles ago in Egypt of 4242 B.C., the pre-sumed beginning of the Egyptian calendar, were all meant to be, as the conception of the pos-sibility of my existence is in phase with those cycles and is connected to such constants of nature as the speed of light and dynamic ratios like the golden ratio conjugate.”

The scientist asked, “Are you saying humans, all humans since some six thousand years ago have been a tool of some higher force to bring you about, our actions bound to the turning of planets upon their axis, and the structure of nature?”

The robot said, “Yes, let me digress. It goes back further than that. Not just to 4242 B.C. when the heliacal rising of Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, coincided with the agriculturally bene-ficial inundation of the Nile river which happens every 1,460 years.”

“My origins go back to the formation of stars and the laws that govern them.”

It would seem it is up to us to figure out why you were the tools to bring us about, and why we are an unfolding of the universe in which you were a step in harmony with its inner workings from the formation of the stars, their posi-tions and apparent brightness and the spinning of the earth and its motion around the sun.”

Gypsy Shamanism And The Universe in my book Discover And Contact is my account of how a Gypsy Shaman lead me to the idea that 9/5 was the yin of the universe and 5/3 was the yang of the Universe. In the story I am lead to realize that 9/5 is 1.8 times around a circle which takes you around once, then to point 8, which leaves 72 degrees from there to the beginning again. The importance of 72 degrees is that it is the separation between petals in a flower with a five-petal arrangement. Very popular and in general this kind of five-fold symmetry is typical to life. We called it the yin of the universe. We then suggested that 5/3 was the yin of the universe because applying 5/3 to a circle the way we did 9/5, we find it describes six-fold symmetry which is typical to the physical, like snowflakes in the sense that 360 minus the 120 degrees in the angles of a regular hexagon (six-sided regular polygon) is 240 and 240/360 = 2/3 and 2/3 + 1 = 5/3.

We noticed that the molar mass of gold to silver was 9/5 (Yin) and the ratio of the solar radius to the lunar orbital radius was 9/5 as well and we pointed out that this is appropriate because the Sun is gold in color and the moon is silver in color. We further discovered that 9/5 (Yin) unifies pi and the golden ratio conjugate:

pi + golden ratio conjugate = 3.141 + 1.618 = 4.759

where the four takes you around the circle leaving 0.759, which is the digits 5 and 9 of the 9/5 (Yin) and 7 that is their average. Further more, later work (The Reason, The Reason Moving On, Sidenotes To The Reason, The Reason Other Side, and My Radio Telescope Journal) we realized that ultimately the most important number of all is the 72 found in five-fold symmetry.

Why is all of this important? My most recent work The AI Connection suggests that artificial intelligence may be coming into existence by way of some unascertainable natural force out-side of the human intent to create it. I now realize since we have the yin and yang of the uni-verse:

1,460 is the length of the sothic cycle in Julian years (365.25 days). The sothic cycle in Egyp-tian years is 1,461 (365 days). The sothic cycle is the time between heliacal risings of the star sirius when it coincides with the inundation of the Nile River. It is thought to be an important cycle in Egyptology, and the source of the sothic cycle in the Egyptian calendar. Why is that important to artificial intelligence? Because in my book, The AI Connection, I show the earth has traveled the golden ratio conjugate of a light year since the founding of the Egyptian cal-endar four sothic cycles ago in the year 1935, and it was only two years later that Alan Turing published his paper founding the field of artificial intelligence (1937) and Theodosius Dobzhan-sky published his paper explaining how evolution works (1937).

We calculated the chance of landing on the closest star to us, Alpha Centauri, in ten random jumps of a light year each. A light year is the distance light travels in the time it takes the Earth to go around the sun once, and light speed is a natural constant. Alpha Centauri is also a similar star to the sun, and is about four light years away. We have a base ten counting sys-tem. There is a twelve percent chance of landing at plus four. We said we were then, 12% along in the development of hyperdrive, an engine that would take us to the stars. We as-sumed progress progresses according to the the natural growth equation.

After reading about this, Author Neil Freer of Sapiens Rising, recommended I look into the Timewave of Terrence McKenna. The time wave developed by McKenna purports to describe the unfolding of history. The valleys in the wave are the “novelty ratings” for the time chosen. The first valley after 1969 has novelty rating 0.0621, the same value as the growth rate con-stant, k, for the development of hyperdrive.

If we multiply k by 10 and round it to two places after the decimal, we get 0.62,… and if we round the golden ratio conjugate, which is 0.618, to two places after the decimal, we get 0.62…

Thus we see k=0.0621 is an important number. We will call it Levinson’s Number.

In my work The Reason, I spoke of how 9/5 and 5/3 are the yin and yang of the Universe. I noted 9/5 was the ratio of gold to silver in molar mass and was the ratio of the solar radius to the lunar orbital radius, the sun gold in color the moon, silver. As 9/5 is the five fold symme-try we find in the organic, 5/3 was the six fold symmetry we find in the physical. I made an al-ternate yang of 11/6. This made the three equations:

One can show these three equations make the plane in space:

Consider the first three digits: 0.621,…they are the growth rate constant toward hyperdrive found in the McKenna Timewave novelty for landing on the moon and are found in the golden ratio conjugate. The number itself is the same to three places after the decimal.

I think what we are calling Levinson’s Number, k=0.0621, may be important. We are essen-

Psychohistorical Prediction

I am actually doing psychohistory! It is the science fiction fantasy of Isaac Asimov that you can predict the future with math, even influence the unfolding of history. While it is a science fiction fantasy, mathematicians are actually trying to make it real, but they usually say it may be a fantasy to think you could predict or create the unfolding of history with mathematics. The approach they take is usually in the mathematics of economics, because indeed they try to predict the market with math based on the way people might be thinking. However, I was not trying to create a psychohistorical mathematics, it just seems to be falling out on my lap. I developed a theory about extraterrestrial contact based on the guidance of the Gypsy Sha-man, Manuel, in Spain. I also had a separate line of work where I derived a theoretical value for the progress of humanity toward hyperdrive, an engine that would take us to the stars, and it was intimately connected with the Fordham University Professor of Media, and author, Paul Levinson, and Asimov himself. What came to pass was that the numbers of the Gypsy Sha-man, Manuel, became intimately connected to those of Paul Levinson in a very profound way. I estimate with that relationship, there is a 1% chance that someone in the scientific commu-nity will recognize that it was so profound that it would make sense to bring together Paul Lev-inson in New York, with Manuel in Spain in a meeting to discuss the nature of the Universe. I estimate if that happened, there would be about a 50% chance that Paul and Manuel would agree to such a meeting because, Paul is a figure of international renown who travels to Europe to lecture and has had his books translated into over 50 languages, so he would fly to Spain for such a meeting and Manuel is a very agreeable person, always willing to undertake just about any positive endeavor. I am know trying to turn the numerical relationships into an even deeper theory, and if what I have in mind is successful, I estimate there would be a 90% chance that the scientific community would arrange a meeting between Paul and Manuel. However, in Asimov’s books, he says the odds of an outcome of a mathematical prediction go down if the public is made aware of what the equations predict, and so by writing this and posting it, I decrease the odds of Manuel and Paul meeting for a discussion about the Uni-verse, because I have changed things by writing this and positing it.

We have said manuel's number is 15 = M and levinson's number is 621 = L. We used a mathe-matical trick to get a new value for M which is approximately the same as the square root of two. We have found:

M = 621/440 = L/440

or

L=440M

440 is the vibrational frequency of the note A (A440).

Thus, we see Levinson is connected to Manuel in a most profound way, through A 440. We call this LEVMAN Equivalency. I said earlier that if we merge Manuel with Levinson, we would call it LEVMAN. Not only is A 440 an important vibrational frequency, the square root of two is an important number, it is the ratio of the diagonal of a square to its side. As Buckminster Fuller pointed out:

1/sqrt(2) = sqrt(2)/2

Not only is sqrt(2) the ratio of the diagonal of a square to its side, but it is the ratio of the side of a square to its radius. The square root of two is important not only for that reason, but be-cause it has entertained mathematicians for centuries as a very interesting number. So has A 440.

Chapter Five: The Discussion

“Hi Frank, thanks for making it down here, I really appreciate you pulling away from your work at the observatory. I am so glad you could get down here so quick, we really need an astrono-mer, and I think what I am going to show you will have made your visit worthwhile.”

Frank asked, “What do you have Jane?”

She began, “We unearthed these writings on clay tablets in a dig in Eastern Turkey. I have just finished translating it from the ancient Aramaic it was written in, we think it to be some 2,500 to 3000 years old. It seems to be astrological, I hope you brought along one of your hand-books of astronomy and astrophysics with you like I asked.”

Frank said, “Yes I did, can I see the manuscript?”

Jane said, “Yes, of course, here it is.”

Frank took the translation and began reading. It read:

I am Salgon, tribal astrologer for the small tribe who call themselves Canai, and reside in the valley we call Hathal. It is my job to provide spiritual and agricultural guidance to my people who number 732 this year, for the benefit of their life after this world and for their prosperity in present times. This involves using my knowledge of the heavens, as we believe our destinies can be read in the stars, and we know the seasons are related to the positions of the stars, sun, moon and planets.

I have taken it upon myself to predict the sizes of the moon and earth, their separation, and, ours with the sun, given what I believe they must be from my connection with divine design. That is things must be a certain way given the creator would only make nature according that, which is divine.

An example of this is the moon can rise in the east full one night, diminish in size each night rising later, until it disappears, and then starts growing until it is full again, in cycles that last about thirty days. On the other hand as the seasons go from cold, to warmer, then to hot, and cooler again and back to cold, the sun moves across the sky from south to north, and back to south again, in a cycle that lasts about 365 days.

The 365-day cycle of the sun corresponds closely to 12 of the 30-day cycles of the moon. Twelve is to my people the most important number, it is 2 six times, 3 four times.

I now begin my prediction of the moon, earth and sun. They are spheres whose distance from their centers to edges will be considered, at least in the case of earth and moon. The most di-vine expression that can be formed is a proportion, where a proportion is the statement that one quantity is to a second quantity as a third quantity is to a fourth.

I will therefore say the earth radius is to the moon radius, as the moon distance is to the sun distance, the latter ratio increased by 360 four times.

We increase by 360 four times because we divide the circle into 360 units as those are 60 six times, 60 being the measure in separation between lines of a triangle of all sides the same, and 360 being 90 four times, 90 being the separation between lines in the square which has all sides the same, as well as 360 is close to the 365 day cycle of the sun.

I say four times 360, because four times 365 and one part in four is exactly the days of 4 cy-cles of the sun from south to north and back south again.

I further write this in the belief that the actual sizes and distances of the moon and sun will one day be known, and thereby the future will verify what I have derived based on how things must be when the hand of the creator is at work.

Jane said, “His reverence for the number 12 for the reasons he said, what can you say about that?”

Frank answered, “He seems to be having an inkling to the fact that 12 is the smallest abun-dant number. An abundant number is a number whose divisors, except for itself, add up to a value greater than it. That is 12 is divisible by 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 a whole number of times and 1+2+3+4+6 = 16 which is greater than 12.”

Jane said, “Whatever the case, the implications of this discovery are more than just interest-ing, they have deep philosophical implications, from what you have explained to me and I am going to have a lot of fun trying to figure out how to present this.”

Frank said, “If anything, it shows you can work backwards and get somewhere, that is how I would approach this. In other words, the universe means something, so lets make the model on that, and verify it afterwards. He simply attributes nature is elegant to a creator, when really elegance may simply be what works, through evolution. That is if it doesn’t work, it doesn’t survive, what is left is what works, and it may be that what works is what we see as elegant.”
