TRUCK PROCEDURES FOR COVID-19Warehouse guidance• The number of personnel in the warehouse should be maintained at the

minimum level possible.

• Loader/porter groups to be reduced to a maximum of 15 persons

• Proper sensitization and planning with all warehouse parties/stakeholders

• The requirement for surge capacity labour is predictable and must be prepared for in advance. The procedure for minimizing risk is as follows:

• AT MAIN GATES TO THE WAREHOUSES the security guard wearing a face mask measures temperature.

• All main entrances to the warehouse to have hand washing facilities with clean water, soap or wash solution of 0.05% bleach solution.

• Hand washing and disinfect is mandatory for all personnel before accessing the warehouse including truck drivers and driver assistant.

• For drivers including truck drivers and passengers/turnboy shall disembark the vehicle, wash hands, sanitize and their temperatures taken by security guards.

• Registration of loaders to be always carried out by themselves at a designated place, a distance from the guard’s house to avoid congestion at the gate and a social distancing maintained.

• Where drivers and their crew do not show any symptoms after screening, they should perform hand hygiene and be allowed to proceed to deliver the goods andshould be subjected to entry screening into the next country or region; and on their return trip to their place of domicile or next loading point.

• Provide hygiene and hand washing facilities at each transport hub.

• Long truck vehicles must not carry more than two (2) crews per vehicle

• The driver will be quarantined at the designated quarantine sites at their final destination and will not be allowed to socialize and are expected to the stay in the quarantine for 14 days or until they move for another mission.

• Designate stopping points for truck drivers (food, hotels) with infection prevention
