2005: IOSD launches “Euclid” project with University of Bangui and ULI Brussels
2006: First agreements are signed to create a consortium called “Euclid”

Prime Minister Faustin Touadera, former Rector of the University of Bangui at the inception of the “Euclid” initiative, signs EUCLID instrument of participation and begins discussing headquarters agreement for EUCLID

Remembering Banny deBrum
Ambassador Banny deBrum was EUCLID’s first High Steward, while also serving as Ambassador of the Marshall Islands to the United States. He travelled with the EUCLID delegation to Eritrea in 2009, but died in 2011. He is fondly remembered and sorely missed.
2011: HQ agreement
March 2011: Headquarters agreement is signed for offices at University of Bangui and Prime Minister’s tower
Implementation of HQ agreement enables EUCLID to become a full member of the Association of African Universities
EUCLID continues international institutional and academic processes including US validation or clearance processes
2012: UN visit
May 2012: Prime Minister Touadera visits United Nations and presides over EUCLID graduate ceremony
UN Secretariat issues letter confirming their recognition that EUCLID degrees are accredited and usable to UN employment
2012-2013: Gambia processes
2012: Dr Mamadou Tangara signs Gambia instrument of participation
2013: EUCLID sends High Level Delegation to Gambia to discuss headquarters agreement
