Euromax 2016Science Museum, London23-24 May
Thank you to our sponsors
This 27th meeting of our dear association founded in 1989 is placed under the so-british theme “Forever Young” in such times that our industry calls for continuing progress and rejuvenation!
As you know, Euromax is a non-profit European association dedicated to the widest exhibition and development of documentary films for giant screens theatres, tied in with advanced audiovisual technologies to promise the most engaging and memorable visitor experiences. We bring together professionals from very special industries who want to work together, exchange ideas and learn from each other.
I am confident that our menu this year is rich and tasty, and can promise you that the heaps of activity from the many people in the kitchen these last few weeks and months will promise a venue, schedule and activity lineup under the expert direction of master cook Beth Nicholas with cooperation from the wonderful technical team of the Science Museum and incredible, generous support from Barco and their installation of their DP4K-60L laser 6P 56,000 lumen projector especially for our crowd.
Producers and distributors have worked hard to deliver the many films and trailers we are about to see; they are bringing spirit and fueling our business, making new trends and sometimes breaking rules and opening new doors.
Sponsors make this meeting possible and friendly and we want to thank them strongly, Barco allowing digital 3D projection, IMAX sponsoring our dinner party after the European premiere of A Beautiful Planet, Giant Screen Films inviting us for lunch on Tuesday and National Geographic, MacGillivray Freeman Films, Halo and nWave sponsoring our coffee breaks and visual communication. Welcome all.
Laurent
