Communication skills ▪ I have substantial experience as associate and team leader acquired primarily through a large number of hydrology, environmental and infrastructure projects in Croatia. For that reason, I developed representative communication skills and have organizational competence and ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and team leader as well.
Organisational / managerial skills ▪ In-depth understanding and specific knowledge of the latest concepts and theories of water management, as cross-sectoral linkages comprehending wider aspects of society, economy and the environment.
▪ Significant working oeuvre through expertise and working tasks made for the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, Directorate for Maritime and Inland Navigation, Shipping, Ports and Maritime Domain, as their consultant for 18 years. I am President of the Management Board of the Agency for Croatian Waterways since March 2017, a public institution, and non-profit legal entity with rights and obligations determined by Act on Inland Navigation and Inland Ports ("Official Gazette" No. 109/2007, 132/2007, 51A/2013 and 152/2014) and the Regulation on the management and administration of the Agency for Inland Waterways ("Official Gazette" No. 58/2008). Consequently, I influenced the legislative framework development and policy of Croatian sea and river transport, ports, ecosystem characteristics, and mutual interaction possible. Under my leadership as a President of the Management Board , workshops were conducted with all involved public and private stakeholders, focused on the national and international development of inland navigation projects. As a Senior Project Manager/Project Director of numerous professional projects that underlie the legislative framework of inland waterways and ports, my work influenced and created important national strategies and plans that are made by national transport policy (Traffic Strategy of the Republic of Croatian, a Strategic Five-year Plan of Development of Inland Waterways, Strategy of Development of Inland Waterways).
