• NBG established Instant Cash Service since spring 2018
• NBG Cooperates with Mellon for CIMA Smart Safes Solution
• NBG launched the solution installing 4 CIMA Smart Safes at Acropolis
ticket offices in 2018
• 23 customers by end of the year
• The Instant Cash Service solution implementation (ATM vs Smart Safe) is
based upon the volume of cash
• Monthly fees depend on the cash volume and the number of CIT
replenishments per week.

Smart Safe Accounting process
1. The Bank in cooperation with the customer defines the roles (admins and
agents)
2. Customer’s agent deposits money
3. Agent can deposit money in more than one accounts
4. The amount is credited in customer's account on line each time the
money deposit transaction is completed
5. CIT empties Cima’s money bag
6. CIT follows the ECB6 process when a counterfeit banknote is recognized
by the Smart Safe
7. Accounting between CIT and the Bank is processed with quick and easy
procedure.
