Taskings of the PT RS
Core tasks:co-ordinate and provide input to EDA projectsforum for info exchange on EU mil spectrum issuesprovide (mil) input to Commission Studies/Opinions and…co-ordinate internal developments with Commission bodies / activities:
Commission - special status in the PT RS (DG INFSO B4, DG ENTR H4)EDA - observer status in the RSPGEDA - member of the WG dealing with the RSPG Opinion
liaise with EUMS to address short term issues
Extended, secondary tasks :liaise with CEPT (requires resources)co-ordinate EU military position into WRC 2011 (to be considered)

EDA Contribution to RSPG
the EDA representative could provide beneficial co-ordinated input from the PT RS into the RSPG and appropriate WG meetings to :
• the EU study on “Optimising the use of the radio spectrum by the public sector in the EU”
• the RSPG Opinion on “Strategic considerations regarding government use of spectrum and its possible EU implications”
