What have I learnt about technologies from the process of constructing the product?
Whilst creating our production “Stalked” I learnt about a lot of different types of technology that I could never use before or even knew existed. Since filming I am now aware of how to use camera’s; replacing the battery, SD card, setting up on the tripod, setting up the lights, and now after watching the editor I am aware of how to use Final Cut Pro.

As director of the production, during filming I worked alongside the cinematographer helping her film or taking over for her during scenes she was
acting in. This was one of the first times I had properly used a professional camera or a microphone; this was used so the diegetic dialogue in the production could be heard clearly by the audience. I had previously set up a Tripod a few times during
GCSE Media so I was quite confident with using this and setting it up for the group. A tripod is what is used for placing a camera on during filming so the shot looks
clear and doesn't look like its been handheld.
MacbookBefore we began this production I was unaware I would be using Macbook software so often, however once this began it wasn’t an issue for me as I previously had a Macbook and therefore was comfortable with using it and knew how to use the software properly.
Youtube
During the task I had to use Youtube many times as I needed to upload the Preliminary Task to my blog along with an annotated version of our production for an evaluation activity. I found Youtube extremely easy to use and was very useful to keep track of our production online to see if it was doing well based on the number of views and likes it had.
BloggerBlogger was the main technology needed by all members of our group as we used to regularly to upload our work on our blogs. Blogger was really easy to use for me, it was simple and had no complications however at first it was quite tricky because I had never used it before but I soon got used to it.
ScribdScribd was the only website our group used to publishing our work onto our blogs, at the beginning of the task I was unfamiliar with this website as I had never used it before or even heard of it, however I soon understood how to use it as it was very simple.
PreziPrezi is very similar to Microsoft Powerpoint as it lets you create power-points online. I like using Prezi as there was a range of transitions to use when making your power-point, there was also lots of different colours and effects for the slides to make it stand out and look eye-catching. I didn’t like using this programme a lot as I found it quite confusing and would have preferred to use Microsoft Powerpoint.
