Evaluation of Fashion Spreads

Fashion Spread 1What your intentions were when you took the photographI wanted to take this photograph in a location where it looked cold and in the middle of nowhere with not a lot of plants or nature around. I wanted to do this because my theme for clothing was winter and I wanted it to look as much as the winter theme as I could. This is why I chose a brick wall which looks like a cold place to be and the way the plants are dying on the floor as this represents winter and the plants dying. The model is also wearing warm clothing with being jeans and a big coat which the audience will think will keep them warm as he doesn’t look cold where he is. I wanted to create a good fashion spread which made people want to buy the clothing that I am showing off and I think this was done well in this photo.

How the final image fulfils your intentionsThe final image that I have gone with does all of this well and fulfils my intentions. This has been done by finding a location that does all of what I wanted which was the cold brick wall which has graffiti on it which makes it stand out and not look plain. The grass and plants on the floor look very weak and destroyed which represents the damage that winter causes which links in my photo to winter even more. The models clothing looks very warm and cosy as he doesn’t look cold in this photo and actually looks quite warm.
