HOW DID YOU

ATTRACT/A

DDRESS YOUR

AUDIENCE

RESEARCH We researched what the key

aspects of attracting our audience would be. From our research we found that one of the main aspects were costume. Costume is used to represent your social groups, so our audience will link the costumes with our social groups. They interpret the character and the characters situation based on what they are wearing, it is called pre-judging. This also makes the audience wonder why he is wearing those types of clothes.

RESEARCHWe then found that music/soundtrack was another

factor that addressed/attracted our audience. The soundtrack is a key factor to the project as it has a massive impact on the audience. Our

soundtrack was quite 'eriee' and made the audience feel uncomfortable as they didn't know what was going to happen next. The

music must link with what is happening at the time in the video. If the music has no link with

the video then it will confuse the audience.

THE MUSIC WE USED…The music we used for our main task was low and lots of bass

notes. We feel this was the best soundtrack as our film is a slow thriller, so the soundtrack slowly increases when the action of the film increases. This is what makes the audience feel on edge – this is exactly the effect we wanted our film to create. Without the right soundtrack, our film would not be as successful to watch.
