X - Student Guide (Guia do Estudante)
The FGV EPGE was again evaluated by the Student Guide, published by Editora Abril with the maximum score,
five stars. In addition to EPGE, five other Schools of Fundação Getulio Vargas also received the same
evaluation, the School of Business Administration of São Paulo (EAESP); the Brazilian School of Public
Administration and Business (EBAPE); the São Paulo Law School (SP Law); the Rio de Janeiro Law School (Rio
Law); and the School of Social Sciences (CPDOC).
Published since 1984, the Student Guide aims to guide those interested in starting an undergraduate course,
presenting updated information on institutions, labor market and career. The survey is conducted through
an opinion survey of more than 8,000 specialists - course coordinators, department directors and teachers -
who give grades to the courses, assigning concepts ranging from poor to excellent (from one to five stars) or
can also opt for "no opinion".
In that year, the specialists evaluated each course under three aspects - pedagogical project, faculty and
infrastructure - assigning a concept / note for each aspect. The final grade of each specialist for each course
was the average of these three concepts.
Considered one of the largest sources of guidance for Brazilian students, the publication with the complete
list of courses evaluated will be on the newsstands as of October 16 of this year.
