Window Control Covers for Model S and Model X Installation Instructions Thanks for purchasing Window Control Covers TM . Please read these installation instructions in their entirety BEFORE you attempt to install the spoiler. Window Control Covers TM (WCC) has been designed to improve the interior aesthetic of your Model S and Model X doors. We’ve created an Installation Video that can be viewed at evannex.com. We strongly recommend that you view it BEFORE you install Glove Box Bumper TM . Quick Start Installation Steps: Tools suggested: Xacto blade (recommended, but not required). Step 1. For the large driver side Window Control Covers TM (WCC), remove the red covering from the double-sided tape on the bottom. Warning: The tape is VERY sticky. DO NOT place it face down on any surface before installation. Step 2. Remove two strips of extra adhesive (dark red color) from the tab provided and place the strip over the existing adhesive on the large driver side front and rear bottom surfaces. Note that we provideyou with four (4) strips of tape. Keep the two extras in case you need them later. Step 3. Position the the large driver side WCC using the cutout for the circular mirror control as a guide, slide in and check for positioning. Once you’re satisfied, press down hard on the front, back, and side. Step 4. Each of the smaller WCCs for the passenger side front door and the rear doors are installed in an identical manner. Remove the red adhesive tape covering, position in place, check alignment, and press down hard. There is no need to use any extra adhesive tape for these pieces. Your side Window Control Covers TM (WCC) is now ready for use. Removal: Window Control Covers TM (WCC), is intended for permanent installation. To remove WCC, use a plastic pry tool at either the front or rear and pry upward. It loosen and can then be pulled off from either the right or left edge. IMPORTANT: Once removed, the adhesive will be weakened and will not adhere properly if you re-install. Therefore, remove only if you do not intend to reuse this product.
