Description:
First available NET ZERO capable cooling tower. With the use of EC fans and solar power panels EVAPCO's new SUN tower cooling tower can meet the demand of HVAC cooling and a minimal to zero financial cost. Other uses of the SUN tower are value engineering geothermal projects, assisting in overheated geothermal fields, and complimenting hybrid designs.

Electrical Flow

(1) Solar Energy is Captured by the Solar Panels and Converted to DC Power

(2) The DC Power is Converted to 208/3/60 AC Through an Inverter on the Back of Each Solar Panel(3) The 208/3/60 AC Power is Stepped Up Through a Transformer to Match the Local Utility, e.g. 460/3/60

Electrical Flow

SUN Cooling Tower

(1) The Power is Wired to the SUN Control Panel, (2) Where it Feeds a Fan Disconnect and Ultimately the Fan Motors

(3) If the Solar Power Generated Does Not Meet the Fan Power Draw, it is Supplemented by the Utility Power

(4) If the Solar Power Generated Exceeds the Fan Power Draw, the Excess is Directed Back Towards the Facility for Use Elsewhere
