ECOSS G3: The best solution in evaporative cooling even more efficient and sustainable!The evaporative condenser in stainless steel: ECOSS, is a consolidated concept in the world market that demonstrates our ecological commitment with the environment and the concern about offering the industry an exclusive and highly efficient solution. It gives us the possibility of offering more than a product, a solution that exceeds the expectations of owners, operators and fitters of these units.

The alignment of our clients’ needs with a high quality and extremely reliable product, with stricter environmental requirements, make the evaporative condensers with galvanized coating become more and more obsolete due to the environmental emissions and the use of aggressive chemicals either at the galvanization process or at water treatment systems.

This way, the team who are responsible for the installations must consider the restrictions on the availability and quality of water, the control parameters and chemicals legislations before making the investment decision.

The concept of the evaporative condenser in stainless steel, ECOSS, facilitates these decisions. Since coils, casing, tray and structural parts are manufactured with 100% stainless steel, the harmful hot-dip galvanizing process is eliminated, as well as zinc or lead contamination on industrial waters, elimination of passivation treatments, free of white rust and reduction on water and chemicals consumption due to the high resistance of stainless steel.

The new generation of this stainless steel equipment, ECOSS G3, keeps the concepts of lower operational costs, lower maintenance costs, easy installation, accessibility, reliable performance, durability, and it presents an evaporative cooling solution developed with state-of-the-art efficiency and sustainability.

- The unit consists of modules that provides reduced costs with transport, handling (cranes cost), civil structures, assembly time and resources are achieved due to the reduced weight and perfect interlocking between the top and bottom modules without the need of welding or anchorages;- Ready-to-operate equipment with the Plug-and-Play system, which includes all wiring, electrical panel and controls; it means without the need for any additional component, software, specialist or electrical installation;- Mechanical connections with easy access and carbon steel tips to facilitate field welding process.

GMM (Güntner Motor Management): Unique solution and Plug-and-Play system, in the State-of-the-Art of Energy Efficiency

The Güntner Controls Division has developed an exclusive control system for EC fans and their solutions: GMM (Güntner Motor Management). This combination of EC fans with GMM creates a unique solution with intelligent control system for energy-efficient operation, providing a complete state-of-the-art solution.

The GMM manages and controls the speed of the fans according to the pre-set pressure or temperature for process control, and consequently will result in an energy-optimized system with the perfect communication interface and integration with the customer’s main systems. The costs and time for the installation of electrical panels, cabling and installations are reduced

considerably with the use of the Plug-and-Play system.This solution, in addition to providing greater reliability and quality in the installation, ensures the correct commissioning and maintenance of the fans due to automatic programming by GMM, ie, no software, specialist or configuration will be necessary.

EC-LAB, besides being the only laboratory in the southern hemisphere able to simulate project weather conditions in the whole world for performance tests in heat exchangers, is currently the most modern and precise laboratory in the world for weather simulation tests and heat exchange systems.

This State-of-the-Art weather testing chamber is totally insulated and equipped with the most modern automated and computerized systems for data collection, and it complies with ASHRAE 64 standard (Methods of Laboratory Testing Remote Mechanical-Draft Evaporative Refrigerant Condensers). The thermal performance certifications are based according to the testing standards CTI ATC-106 (Acceptance Test Code for Mechanical Draft Evaporative Vapor Condensers) and CTI ATC-105 (Acceptance Test Code for Closed Circuit Cooling Towers).
