The WHIRLYBIRD AWARD recognizes the out-standing restoration of th e Los Angeles City Fire Department’s Bell 47G-3B-1, N73985, built August 2, 1963, to it’s original condition. This award also recognizes the dedication & superlative workmanship performed by retired Los Angeles City firefighter and pilot Jeff Moir in bringing this seven-year project to completion ... #CAHEROES
