The IESMCRC student team is very privileged to be at CAAYE, Colombo which exposes them to latest technologies and global challenges.

It is no doubt a privilege for me to write on the CAAYE summit ... which is an association committed toward success! Outstanding indeed and wonderful social media efforts put in by the student group.

I am very appreciative of the efforts put in by IESMCRC students and the quickness with which the events were being covered and relayed across the world wide web. I am delighted to be at CAAYE, Colombo and be a

recipient of an award after a tough competition. I am also thrilled to see how all of you are working as a team to support an entrepreneur. I am delighted to be at CAAYE, Colombo and be a recipient of an award after a tough competition. I am also thrilled to see how all of you are working as a team to support an entrepreneur.Yes, it was one of the most beautiful and business scope

changing experiences to us. As Industrial Automation Engineers, we focused only on doing business in Sri Lanka. But after this summit, now we are thinking of going global. So it is actually a total new paradigm shift.

The exceptional personalities we met like Mr. Shiraz Gidwani and Dr. Rahul Mirchandani have positively influenced our lives so that we think at new international heights.

Entrepreneurs are essential to create jobs, sustainable economic growth and wealth, as well as to address the growing set of global challenges society is facing. And events like caaye play an important role in such things.

The CAAYE 2013 Summit was simply awesome and we all felt tremendous energy inside. It surely did inspire me and other delegates as well. Let us all be inspired and make this summit the dawn of a new era where youth entrepreneurship will open new arenas to the whole world.

Institutions like CAAYE play a major role by being the catalyst between governments, policy makers, funding institutions to bring more acceleration towards promoting an entrepreneurial culture. Policy Implementation should be the focus.

Obstacles and Solutions:

Time Period Action Obstacle Solutions

Sept 2013 Posting and increasing the popularity of the page

We targeted mostly on specialty tourism aspects of member countries

We shifted our attention completely on speakers and delegates

Mid Oct 2013 Contacting delegates and connecting on FB

We did not receive the delegate list

We had to search for the delegate list on our own and their profile

End Oct 2013 To maximize the reach of our Facebook page

The basic reach was only restricted to Indian region

Commenced paid promo-tion which would help us reach wider audience across member countries

Nov 2013 On the spot posting at Co-lombo for visits and summit proceedings

The Vodafone dongles were not working effectively. On summit day there was poor internet connection for live streaming of data

On Summit day we some-how managed by taking turns and sometimes use mobile net which delayed the process
