R2017 is the result of many years of development working on updating and improving the core logic of Every Angle, enhancing and stabilizing it so that we can unleash new insights both now and in the future.

This new release enhances Every Angle through the inclusion of a large degree of new functionality and additional insight and intelligence, reinforcing our unique self-service analytics capabilities and distancing ourselves from other BI tools that are only able to report or visualize data from SAP.

Every Angle R2017Every Angle is pleased to announce the release of R2017

New functionality to understand and report on the status between purchasing and sales orders and their preceding contracts, schedule agreements or outline agreements.

Contains an all new control system for the Every Angle administrators, enabling greatly enhanced monitoring and control of Every Angle usage, insight in authorization setup and statistics on the refresh performance.

A multitude of technical and performance related enhancements to reduce processing time.

Now fully understands and supports SAP’s new Industry Solution for the clothing industry: FMS – Fashion Management Solution.

Contains enhanced logic that understands complicated business scenarios in SAP that do not follow normal business flows. These include processes such as inter-company sales, the sale of non-stock items such as services and processes like Milestone Billing.

Provides new functionality such as enhanced Supply / Demand matching logic, new bottleneck types, enhanced shelf life management and control of planning materials.

R2017 contains the following enhancements:

Cross‑process intelligence

Understands SAP configuration

Real business self‑service

Plug‑and‑PlayIdentify Bottlenecks

Many businesses sell services and financial goods rather than physical items, meaning that no stock movement takes place. These are called value based documents and / or service items. Likewise, many companies, especially major contract manufacturers like Aerospace and Defense companies, decouple physical supply from financial payments, accruing costs against a project and charging the customer upon reaching certain milestones.

Every Angle now provides all of its added intelligence fields - such as order status, bottlenecks, delivery reliability and margin calculations - on value items as well as physical items. This means that Every Angle now provides companies who sell services and value items with insights not available from any other tool, including SAP.

Perhaps the most unique aspect of Every Angle is its ability to understand complex cross-process scenarios. R2017 contains a number of improvements to further increase the power and flexibility of this capability, creating enhanced value and more insight to supply chain planners.

Inclusion of Reorder Point demand as a consuming order in supply / demand matching – correctly allocating inventory and planned receipts and determining delivery dates.

MRP‑area support Every Angle now supports planning within an MRP area as well as at material or plant level. This means that Every Angle can now perform master data checks, identify stock shortages, over planned stock and calculate critical orders all by MRP area.

The Shelf Life Expiry Date (SLED) is a key piece of product information, held at batch level. It declares when goods can no longer be displayed on shelf of a retailer – and thus are unsaleable at full price.

Some manufacturers (especially food and drink manufacturers) have customers – or even entire regions – that require a certain percentage of the shelf life to be remaining on the product when they receive it. In export scenarios, this means that the transit times need to be considered in order to ensure that there is sufficient shelf life remaining when the goods arrive at their destination.

R2017 now contains the capability to sort batches based on their remaining shelf life, ensuring that stock is rotated properly and greatly helping to reduce product obsolescence and unexpected stock write-downs.

ENHANCED FUNCTIONALITYThe core of Every Angle is its ability to not just report on SAP data, but to understand it, simplify it and enhance it. This enables your business to not only provide users with fancy reports on past events, but real self-service analytics that understand complex business processes, providing insights they can act on.

R2017 contains significant enhancements that advance this capability further, enabling greater insights and more detailed analysis.

Industry Solution Support: SAP Fashion Management Solution (FMS)

Every Angle contained specific functionality developed for customers who used AFS, such as Tommy Hilfiger, who wished to migrate to FMS. R2017 therefore includes new enhancements to understand and support the key functionalities of SAP FMS, ensuring ongoing support for customers in the fashion industry.

SAP has recently replaced its industry solution for the clothing industry (AFS ‑ Apparel and Footwear Solution), with a new solution called FMS (Fashion Management Solution).

New Functionality - Order to Cash: Customer Service by originally confirmed delivery date

The combination of this functionality plus Every Angle‘s ability to process open sales documents means that Every Angle is now able to provide new levels of insight into future customer service issues, enabling customers to better prioritize backorders and ensure critical orders are focused on.

Every Angle can now report on sales performance – past and open – based on the originally confirmed delivery date. This is extremely difficult for companies to do, and usually requires significant amounts (years) of ABAP development – often without success.

New Scenarios and Business Process Support:Intercompany Sales Orders

Every Angle now fully understands the supply and demand relationship of intercompany sales orders that move stock between business units in different company codes. Companies often move inventory between two of their locations. Often, these locations are part of the same business unit, called a company code in SAP, and in these instances the transportation of stock is handled by stock transfer orders. While Every Angle has been able to report on stock transfer orders for years, situations can arise in larger companies where the two locations may belong to separate company codes, and therefore the movement becomes financial as well as physical in nature. These are called Intercompany Sales Orders, and in these instances a customer > vendor relationship exists and a connection between the sales order in the ‘’customer’’ company and the purchase order in the ‘’vendor’’ company, even though financially it has to be shown as an intercompany order.

Every Angle has always been able to report on the status of the sales and purchase orders. However, like all other BI tools it saw them as separate, unconnected items.

Now Every Angle does what other BI tools cannot, understanding the relationship between the intercompany purchase order from the receiving plant in one company code, and the related intercompany sales order placed on the delivering plant in the other company code. This means that all of the normal added Every Angle insight fields – such as input / output allocation, dependent orders, delivering orders, expected delivery date – now work for intercompany sales orders, providing real insight into the impact of delays, stock shortages, excess inventory etc.

A series of functional improvements have been made that resolve tricky challenges with SAP, and therefore differentiate Every Angle by creating solutions and not just reports. These are as follows:

Functional Improvements

Every Angle now supports stock transfers within the same plant – i.e. from storage location to storage location, or from MRP area to MRP area. Normally these are between plants.

Following on from point 1, Every Angle can now allocate the G/L account for each stock batch based on material, batch, sales order and project stock valuation.

Every Angle now covers all SAP scenarios and is consistent with the requirements date presented in SAP (via transaction MD04) at all times.

Every Angle can now understand and report on different material valuations for sales order and project stock.

Every Angle can now handle ‘Planning Materials’ (MRP-4) where demand of one SKU (the active SKU) consumes the forecast of a more generic planning SKU.

Extension of Every Angle’s multi-level understanding to include relationship between outline agreements, contracts and schedule agreements and any subsequent sales / purchase orders.
