Dear Naresh,

Article seventy two of this book says "A word spoken with full

care and interest can never be tiring or boring.”

This is exactly what can be said about your book. ‘Everyday’s

inspiration for Students.’ Each thought is fruit of your reflection.

Hence it is spoken with care and interest. Anything done with care

and interest specially for children will bear fruit. Most of your

thoughts are for students and teachers. Both groups are very

receptive.

By inspiring students you are helping to build the nation. Our

children are our future. That many may benefit from this book is my

prayer.

Good-bless you

Sister Flavian

Ex Principal

Carmel Junior College,

Sonari, Jamshedpur

Success should be judged

by oneself, it is secondary

whether others admire it

or not.

6

Knowledge always

purifies one’s previous

knowledge.

7

Clean mind always drives

out the undesirable and

unnecessary thoughts

before they permanently

settle in our memory.

8

A good mind is always

eager to learn but stores

away only the useful

things inside.

9

The words used in a

proper way are divine,

otherwise devilish.

10

It is always better to

take a clearly visible

path leaving others aside.

11

Discipline should be

formed as per needs of

the school and students

otherwise it will be

an indigestible food.

12

Things once understood

clearly can never

be forgotten.

13

Knowledge is always

pure and complete. It is

our problem if we

can’t express it well.

14

Knowledge is transferred

through the mind,

not through hands.

15

Education is the

only means by which

people can live peacefully.

16

A person who has missed

the opportunity of getting

educated has missed

everything in his life.

17

Punctuallity forms a

system in us, by which

we can utilize maximum

amount of our time.

18

To realise one's mistakes

is a sign of courage and

compromising with them

is foolishness.

19

A watch reminds us

of how much time we

have already lost and how

much more still to lose

or utilize.

20

Personal tuition is an

addiction from which

every child wants relief.

He feels proud of himself

if he achieves something

on his own.

21

Greed of money is liked

by some but greed for

knowledge is liked by all.

22

Every school has got a

character of its own which

gets reflected in the

character of its students.

23

A good school creates a

continuous flow of

knowledge, which never

ends and never stops.

24

A student who does

well in his studies gets

respect first from himself,

then from his friends

and his school and finally

from his parents.

25

School is the only place

where people are judged

by their knowledge,

not by their money.

26

A teacher should not

impose his/her own

personality on the students

but he/she should bring

out the personality of

each and every student in

its original form.

27

Knowledge given to

others gets multipled.

28

Competitive tension

among students is not

good and it must be

replaced by a bond

of co-operation.

29

Teachers are like a

stream which ontinuously

carries the knowledge;

students collect knowledge

out of it and make

it available to everyone.

30

How sad are those who

have not got educated,

how sad are those who

have not utilized their

education. How sad are

those who use their

knowledge in destroying

humanity and how sad is

the school, that has

produced such students!

31

Imaginative power

Appearing in students

is a clear sign that they

are on the right path.

32

Leading comes first,

learning next and wisdom

is the final goal for

all students

33

Children cannot love

You on their own but

when you start loving

them, they too

will love you.

34

A student’s soul should

always be hungry for

knowledge through

books, teachers or from

others. Their search

should never end.

35

A child joins the school

in a state of complete

darkness but when he

comes out, he has the

light of wisdom to remove

others darkness.

36

One can not say that

one student is better or the

other is worse.

It is only the quality of

nourishment that makes

all the difference.

37

Discipline should not

be imposed instead it

should come as an

impulse and not as a rule.

38

When a student learns

something which is

beyond his imagination it

automatically leads to a

great respect towards

teachers and finally

to the school.

39

A school is the dream

of one, its birth an

enterprise of a few to be

used by thousands and

benefited by a whole

generation.

40

A school is a source to

feed the Nation with its

beautiful flowers which it

produces all around

the year.

41

Obesity and sloth are

two great enemies of

knowledge, which can be

done away with regular

sports activities in schools.

42

By prescribing uniform

for all students, a school

pledges to treat every

student on equal footing

without any partiality.

43

Discipline imposed

through force is only a

punishment given prior

to ones mistake.

44

A person who is self

motivated is self

disciplined.

45

Hunger for learning

comes through interest

and interest comes

through proper way

of teaching.

46

Teaching is a path

illumined by teachers and

followed by students.

47

Students are a working

force of youth, talent and

will, combined into one.

48

The students express

the ambition of their

parents, school, teachers

and finally their own.

49

To try is to get

things done.

50

The students are like

seeds whose original

nature, character and

instinct can not be

changed but it is always

possible to get the

best out of it.

51

Every lesson has got a

special message within

and it should be very

clearly understood by

students otherwise it will

be wastage of time.

52

A word written by a

precious pen has no

value until and unless

there is some precious

meaning behind it.

53

Education is like a

candle once lighted will

give light to all.

54

A student failed in one

class is like a rusted car

which can be repaired

and made new.

55

Education is the first

thing parents think of

after the birth of the child.

56

That teacher is great

who performs his duty for

the benefit of students

alone, not his own.

57

Education or teaching

is not a light in itself

but a means which guides

us as to how to use our

own inner light.

58

Teaching is a worship

and in no way should

it be influenced by money.

If such an interest creeps

in it will spoil many a

student for the profit

of one.

59

Ego is the peak of a

mountain from which

everyone comes down.

60

A student is always in

the need of a sailor who

can sail his boat through

towards the ocean of

knowledge.

61

The sun gives light to a

school from all angles

from morning to evening,

so that there is no place

left without light; a good

teacher also does the same

while teaching.

62

Nobody can conquer the

knowledge; one can take

it only by bowing down.

63

Your success is always

judged by a successful

person.

64

Patience alone can

conquer time.

65

Heart of children is like

the flame of a candle

which requires two

Affectionate hands to hold

and protect the light in

between.

66

Prayers are beautiful

songs of the heaven,

which God listens to,

because they are

for him only.

67

A prayer in the morning

is our wish Addressed to

God and in the evening

our thanks to him for what

he has given to us.

68

At school, students learn

to use only a small portion

of their brain but still this

has great value because

through this they learn to

use the rest of their brain.

69

Politics in school is like

rust in the body.

70

Words are like flowers

and it depends upon us

how beautiful a garland

we make out of it.

71

The mind of a child is

very sensitive. Knowledge

should be poured into it

very slowly otherwise it

will become a devils mind

in the long run.

72

Prayers express the

strong will of performing

our duties in the most

sincere way. A prayer

done by an insincere

person is only an

expression of his greed.

73

School bell is an alarm

calling attention and

alertness towards studies

and it is a force which

automatically drives

students to put head

into their work.

74

Conversation can be

effective only when you

speak what others want

to listen.

75

A word spoken with

full care and interest can

never be tiring or boring.

76

One should be active like

water, dynamic like the

sea and aggressive like a

warrior.
