Redbank, N. J., Nov. 15.—Richard Kyle Fox, editor and publisher of The Police Gazette, internationally known «port publication, died at*his home here yesterday. Ho had been In fa.ll- dng health for a year.
Mr. Fox was born In Belfast, Ireland, ln 1846, the «on of a mechanic. He was llrst employed as a messenger boy in the advertising department of a Belfast newspaper. AVhen 20 years old he married, came to the - United State« and acquired a position with The Wall Street Journal.
In 1875 he became publisher of The Police Gazette, at that time a sheet devoted to crime and criminals, and gradually converted it into a «porting publication.

of traffic of the Wilmington iTistriet, was chairman. At 12.15 o’clock the meeting adjourned to enjoy a tasty luncheon in the grill room. Several of the* girls entertained during the luncheon hour. Immediately following luncheon the demonstration work being carried on In all districts to inform the public in more detail as to how telephone calls are handled, was given by Miss Sara Naylor and Miss Pauline Ackerman of the Wilmington office. This talk was called "Sixty Minutes in a Central Office.” A miniature switchboard was set up and local and long distance calls explained and illustrated. This was very much en- loyed by all employes present, many jf whom had never had an opportunity of seeing a demonstration.
