Surgeons can use this ‘human textile’ for knitting, sewing and crocheting damaged organs. Scientists suggest that their invention could “truly integrate into the host’s body”. They stated that “this novel strategy holds the promise of the next generation of medical textiles that will be mechanically strong without any foreign scaffolding”. PRIMITIVE TURTLE SURVIVED DINOSAUR -KILLING MASS EXTINCTION: STUDY London, UK: A primitive species of turtles, measuring about 60 cm, was among the few terrestrial animals that managed to survive the mass extinction believed to have killed the dinosaurs about 66 million years ago, according to a study which analysed peculiar fossils found in France. The study said an asteroid impact wiped out nearly 70 % of life on the planet, except Laurasichersis relicta. Only the so-called 'horned turtles’ managed to survive, but this too was in Gondwana – the current southern hemisphere. By augmenting human cognitive abilities, AI powered services could assist lawyers in multiple ways.” TNN Washington, USA: A triumphant President Donald Trump trolled his political opponents after he was acquitted in an impeachment trial by a mostly-partisan vote in the Republican majority US Senate. Trump, speaking at the White House, declared the impeachment proceedings a “disgrace” and complained anew that it was “a very unfair situation”. “It was evil, it was corrupt,” Trump declared. “This should never ever happen to another president, ever. Saif’s father Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi studied in England, with Saif, Sabaa and Soha following the tradition. Saif’s kids Sara and Ibrahim also went to boarding school in England and Taimur is also expected to follow suit. Kareena is keen to send Taimur to a boarding school as she feels that the media attention is not right. On the other hand, Saif wants to spend time with his son. TNN AMERICA IS INDIA'S PREFERRED TRADE PARTNER Washington, USA: America is India's preferred trade and business partner in its journey to become a $5 trillion economy by 2024, says the country's new envoy to the US – Taranjit Singh Sandhu. Addressing a gathering, Sandhu elaborated that the potential for cooperation between the US and India is limitless. According to him, PM Modi has set the goal for India to grow from a $3 trillion economy today to a $5 trillion economy by 2024 and a $10 trillion economy by 2030. “In this journey, Modi has made it clear that the US is a preferred partner for trade and business,” adds Sandhu. Saarah Yob, 23, of Florida was on a trip to New Orleans when she discovered someone had stolen her purse. Later that day, James Elmes, 21, spotted the purse with only her camera in it. He posted a photo Yob had taken, on twitter. Within 16 hours and 800 retweets later, he did find Yob, who was immensely grateful to get her purse back. The researchers said one of the hurdles in learning a foreign language is knowing the right way to pronounce words. In their study, they revealed that people laugh at these mistakes made by their peers, even though they make the same mistakes. Ehsan said that he escaped the confinement of Pakistani security agencies on January 11, claiming Pakistan failed to keep their promises. In the study, the scientists examined the brain structures of 11,000 children of 9-11 ages, and compared them with data on their daily sleep duration. London, UK: Depression, anxiety, impulsive behaviour, and poor cognitive performance in children are linked to the quality and quantity of sleep they get, according to a study which also suggests that insufficient sleep is associated with brain structure changes in kids. The researchers said good sleep supports reorganisation of nerve connections in the brain, making it particularly important for children, whose brains are developing rapidly.
