    EVOL Air Pressure Regulator is a high precision, single-stage diaphragm air pressure regulator. Even with feature of SS316 construction, it is still an economical and ideal choice for pressure reduction. Thus, the regulator is suitable for any process that requires precise regulation of air pressure in pipes and vessels.

    In EVOL Technologies, there are five types of air pressure regulator available:

    (i) F.R.L combination (ii) Filter regulator (iii) Filter (iv) Regulator (v) Lubricator

    Filter and Regulator

    WORKING PRINCIPLE

    When the adjusting screw is

    turned clockwise, the set point

    pressure (P1) is greater than the

    pressure under diaphragm (P2)

    The pressure is now:

    P1 > P2

    Set point pressure > Pressure

    under diaphragm

    The spring opens the valve

    assembly and allows the air

    passes through

    The air inlet passes through the

    filter, which removes dirt

    particles in the incoming air (Applicable on the model with filter only)

    If the outlet pressure is higher

    than the set point pressure, the

    diaphragm transfers the high

    force to ventilation port

    The ventilation port releases the

    excess air to achieve an

    equilibrium force

    The pressure is now achieved:

    P1 = P2

    Set point pressure = Pressure

    under diaphragm

    The set point pressure is

    maintained and the air inlet

    continues to pass through

    The pressure is now achieved:

    P1 = P2

    Set point pressure = Pressure

    under diaphragm

    Lubricator

    Lubricator is assembled after:

    (i) FR

    (ii) Filter

    (iii) Regulator

    It works by injecting small

    particles of oil into the moving

    air stream of a pneumatic system

    As air flows from regulator, some

    air is divided from the main

    orifice and is diverted to apply

    pressure on the oil reservoir

    The force pushes the oil up

    through siphon tube to sight

    feed dome

    In the lubricator, the capacity

    valve opens in proportion to the

    air flow

    When the capacity valve opens,

    the oil drips into the air

    downstream

    Sight feed dome is a polyhedron

    bowl, which can be used to view

    the oil flow into air stream

    Then, the capacity valve

    regulates oil flow in direct ratio

    to the air flow increase

    The capacity valve atomizes the

    air and oil mixture creating a fine

    mist of lubricant into the air

    stream
