Welcome!
When you have located your table and it is mostly full, introduce yourselves and share:1. What is your favorite leafy green? 2. How do you like it prepared?
When you have finished introductions, begin the DO NOW activity on your table.
HARVEST of the MONTH DECEMBER: Cooked Greens - DO NOW
It’s not EASY being green, especially if you are a cooked GREEN.
1. As a group (Ad Agency) develop a commercial for a 30 second Radio Spot debunking the myth that being green isn’t easy (It IS easy to be green!).
2. A picture of the Green Vegetable that you will develop the ad for is on your table along with a few fun facts.
3. Choose:• A Creative Director • Copy Writer• Radio Voice Actor(s)
4. You have 10 minutes to plan and prepare the ad. At the end of the 10 minutes, find a partner table and each table present their commercial (5 minutes total).

Lego Tower Competition
There are three rules: You must use the full 10 minutes. A
minute is a full minute, or any portion of a minute (e.g. 38 seconds is calculated as a full minute). Once you start building, you may not go back to planning time.
Only the tower’s base may touch a surface; the tower may not lean against or be attached to anything.
The tower must stand for at least 5 seconds on its own.
Debrief:How does this activity support Managing
Impulsivity - Take your time! Thinking before acting; remaining calm, thoughtful and deliberative?
What types of activities do you already do in your program that support this habit? What other activities could you use?
